We first tried cookies from Honolulu cookie company when we flew with Hawaiian airlines. I tasted the pineapple flavor and loved it so much that I decided that this would be one of the souvenirs kinda that I must buy from Honolulu. We stayed in Hyatt Regency at Waikiki and this store was located in the ground floor of the same building. That meant I could go down , buy some , eat them and buy again . Lol! I bought from them a couple of times during our 4 day stay and I liked all their flavors specially the pineapple , mango and guava flavors. They have awesome chocolate flavors too but I made sure I overload on the tropical flavored ones as you can get chocolate ones at other places too . The store assistant greeted us with smile and showed us the sample area which had all their flavors available to try out. I also noticed there are lot of these stores all around Honolulu so it's not difficult to find one. Absolutely must try if you are visiting the area . read more

The cookies here are like no other. Tantalizingly delicious. There are many of these stores dotted around Hawaii. All are impeccably clean. This particular store is larger than the others. There is always someone there to assist you making the right selection. The chocolate dipped cookies are the finest I've ever eaten. There is plenty to sample too, to make sure you are buying what you like most. You just have to buy a cookie or two from here! read more

Let me tell you that these cookies are my favorite. I'm used to getting these back when I worked and shopped at TJ Maxx but going to the actually shop was a treat. The shop was a hip vibe feel that made you feel on the beach. The service was amazing giving us advice on which cookies to grab. We got the shortbreads and ube cookies and they were delicious.Overall love this place. read more

I love the Honolulu Cookie Company! Those little pineapple cookies are such a treat. During the holidays, the special peppermint ones are the best, but I also love the year round flavors like guava and pineapple. There are a ton of gift boxes and varieties to choose from. You can also build your own box, which is usually what I opt to do. If you need to purchase enough items to get your validation for the parking lot, Honolulu Cookie Company is a great place to spend your money! Frequent buyer stamp card is available so you can earn some $$ off future purchases! read more

Great location, friendly and great employees! The ambiance is welcoming as well. Bought a whole bunch of delicious cookie treats for Ohana to enjoy. While on vacation, hubby said he wanted to buy some cookies to his co-workers. After a few days of brainstorming, he settled on this company. The store was quite clean and the cashier that helped him was very friendly. For purchasing a small gift box, hubby was given 2 free cookies. We've been to Hawaii a few times but had never tried the cookies from this company. After we got back to the hotel, I ended up eating the free cookies for dessert. Omg, they were delicious. The cookie had a buttery taste to it (not sure if the small fruit jam that's in the middle, necessary). If you're interested, samples are provided at the store. read more

I mean, what can I say that hasn't been said before. It's a store with the most tasteful cookies that I've tried. They are not overwhelmingly sweet at all. Just the right amount. Upon your entrance the staff will give you sample cookie. May or may not be broken. But who cares? Still free. Lol The store is impecable clean and small. By far the best souvenir you can get. The my have a variety of premade gift boxes or you can choose to do your own. And the best part? Affordable!!!! They're on the main strip so your best bet will be to walk. If you're driving, just park at any structure or street parking. read more

The best cookies in Hawaii! These are my favorite cookies every time I visit. I always make sure to grab a couple of bags/boxes to take home to California. They have so much assortment to choose from but my favorites are the ube, mango and pineapple shortbread cookies. They even offer cookie samples for you to try. Wife found this shopping and I recognized the store from staying at the Linq in Las Vegas several months ago. Fairly similar to that location. What's smart is they have small samples of cookies at the front. That makes you want to order gifts and treats for yourself. We liked butter, cinnamon and chocolate chip the most. Prices are high for cookies but there's a lot of sweet Aloha in every bite. read more

These cookies are a must when visiting Hawaii. They are shortbread cookies with different flavors. Friendly staff and there are cookies for tasting once you enter the store. You can buy single cookies or in bulk. I bought a keepsake container and was able to fill the container with 18 cookies. The staff doesn't count the cookies because they use an honor system. The cookies are delicious and I highly r recommend it. Also you can order online. read more

I have to admit, I'm no Cookie Monster, but when it comes to cookies there are two kinds I'll always eat. 1) Mrs. Field's 2) Honolulu Cookie Company The thing is, this has become a tradition with my friends every time one of us travels here we grab a box for each other. I've literally tried almost all their flavors. Peppermint: newest seasonal flavor tastes like a mint and for some reason maks my breath taste and feel like I brushed it lol Kona Coffee: my favorite since it combines coffee with their traditional butter shortbread cookie...not too strong but a good enough coffee flavor Pineapple: small trace of Pineapple flavor in their shortbread cookie. Same can be said for the Mango and Guava ones Chocolate Chip: itsy bitsy chocolate chips, definitely needs more chocolate for anyone who likes chocolate, very light chocolate in this cookie Original Shortbread: just the best, buttery and crunchy, I could eat 20 of these! Their dipped cookies are good if you like dark chocolate. They have excellent customer service with a quick response time especially when I contacted them about an order that had not yet shipped and was late they helped Fed Ex to me at no extra charge since they were running behind due to Covid! Customer service and the quality of their cookies makes this a must shop place for tourists and locals alike! read more

Delicious, buttery cookies and free samples! Stop in for a free sample (flavors vary) and fill a box with a variety of flavors (5 cookies for $5.95). They also have cute pineapple tins. We tried the chocolate guava, white chocolate guava, dark chocolate coconut, mango macadamia, dark chocolate Kona coffee, and guava. We enjoyed each of the flavors. They are the ideal size and have good flavor. We took the cookies with us when exploring the island and they made a tasty snack. read more

One of the best discoveries in Waikiki. A random stop while walking to the beach satisfied both my sweet urge & gifts to take back home. You can buy cookies individually giving you the choice to select as many cookie flavors or you can buy a tin or set that has set flavors in them. I chose the select a few to try out the flavors. What: amazing and addictive individually wrapped shortbread cookies. I avoid sugar and butter but had to indulge and have this special treat when in Hawaii! My favorite is the white chocolate COCONUT. Tasted like Hawaii!! Service: I love how friendly and helpful everyone is in this store. I bought a pack of 20 and one of the cookies was broken and she asked a co-worker to hand her a replacement and she replaced my broken cookie and let me have the broken one for free! Wow! Can't never come to Hawaii and leave without shortbread from the Honolulu Cookie Company..... The staples of the island as I see it. Everything is amazing of course. There's plenty of stores in Honolulu buy limited on the other island. The have the prepackaged gift boxes available as well as individual that you can choose and pack yourself. Holiday and seasonal items available throughout the year. When purchasing, a card is stamped depending on how much you spend. I believe every hundred you spend, a box is offered as a gift that is enough for 10 individual pieces. Pretty easy to spend that as we spent over 200 alone on cookies....lol.... read more

The other locations don't open as early / close as late as this one - super convenient to wander into after going to the beach or before you fly back on your last day! For once, I didn't eat any Honolulu Cookie Company cookies while I was still in Honolulu! The salespeople always load up our bags with samples (broken cookies they can't sell), but I waited til I was home to have a couple. We purchased tin cans & gift boxes made of sturdier cardboard than their thinner pick-your-own sampler boxes to minimize the chances of them being crushed in our luggage. The recipients were very happy. We had spent enough to receive their free gift -- a box of lemon cookies (some white chocolate dipped, some plain.) As always, service was wonderful, so friendly & attentive. And samples...did I mention the handfuls of samples?! They're so good to us, we'll always come back for our edible souvenirs & gifts. My fav cookie in the world. I didn't know this exist until one of my friend bought me some from Hawaii for my souvenir. It was so good. So many different flavors. Can't decide which one tasted better. Until recently, I went to Hawaii and realized they are everywhere there. I just have to get some before I head back to Seattle. You can try as many sample as you want when you visit any of the store. I would usually go to the one that are not so busy. So, you will get the best service too. I heard that there is a location at Las Vegas as well. I will definitely have to stop by when I go there in couple of weeks. read more

Superb cookies and a must try while you are in Hawaii. They have complimentary samples as you come in so you can try before you buy. Staff is super helpful and there are several gift box items to choose from in all price ranges. Cookies are individually wrapped and do store well, so don't be afraid to take a large box back. They hold really well. My favorite was the Kona Coffee and chocolate dipped cookie! So good! read more

Love Honolulu cookie company and those damn delicious shortbread cookies too! It's hard to resist these cute pineapple shaped cookies. I like how generous the stores are with their sample section where you can taste test a bunch of their cookie flavors. They sell a variety of cute prepackaged boxes of cookies , but my favorite items are the one where you can pick your own box size and fill them with any cookie flavor of your choosing. They have the following sizes: -small (5 cookies) for 4.95 -medium (10 cookies) for 8.95 -large (20 cookies) for 16.95 -extra large (30 cookies) for 24.95 These cookies boxes make great gifts to bring back to friends/families. This is by far my favorite Honolulu Cookie Company location! I work as a tour guide for Japanese students, and I always love bringing them to Honolulu Cookie Company, because they make great gifts to take back home, and all of the staff at every location I go to are so sweet. This location in particular is my go-to because of their exceptionally great service! Every time I walk in with my students, we're greeted with smiles and enthusiasm, and they help in every way possible to help my students find the best gifts. I get to sample cookies while they look around the store, and the workers usually make small talk with me while everyone else is shopping - so you know that they're genuinely friendly, and not just after my students' money! One worker in particular, Kai, is ALWAYS at this location whenever I go, and he is by far the best worker I've ever seen. He always talks to my students and laughs with them, makes conversation with them, and shows them the Aloha spirit that they deserve, and even while he's doing some important looking stuff with a clipboard and pen, he still makes time to talk to me so I'm not bored while my students wander around inside for 20 minutes haha read more

Lots of cookie options and they are all so tasty. Not too sweet, buttery, and fresh. I love that their cookies are individually wrapped. Some of my faves are the Kona Coffee and Dark Chocolate ones. I came here for a wedding and stopped in to get a few gifts for friends back home. To my surprise, the manager was incredibly friendly and charismatic. He offered me a matcha shortbread cookie to try and I was immediately addicted! These are amazing shortbread cookies and they may even be the best cookies I've ever had! The store manager was hilarious and mentioned a story about him running to regular stores to buy the cookies because he wasn't able to work during COVID. We ended up spending over $100 on cookies because we were so addicted to these shortbread cookies. I'm back home now, and it is still totally worth it. Side note: I can't remember the managers name but he was working with a cashier named Debbie that day according to my receipt (3/16/22 -2:36pm). read more

Very friendly service and delicious cookies! We were greeted right away by a lady with cute pineapple sunglasses. She helped us decide on what to buy for our friends back home. I told my mom that I didn't particularly want the fruity cookies and the lady working here gave me an all chocolate cookie box to look at! That is what I decided to purchase. This store had a mixture of all different types of cookies and samples. They have some small boxes and larger boxes. Prices start from $5 and up for the small gift boxes which I liked because it just depends on what you're looking for and it was affordable! They didn't tell me prior to buying, but because I spent $50 on cookies, I received a free mini tin cookie box too! I was so excited. I love Honolulu cookie company! read more

These pineapple shape cookies are so yummy! We stayed at the Outrigger Hotel next door and from day one after visiting, we were addicted to these buttery, sugary treats. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. They didn't seem to mind that we came in regularly to get free samples of their cookies. Mostly while we waited to pickup our car at the parking valet, we would quickly run inside and swipe a few cookies for the road. The large sample jars were all laid out in front for everyone to try and refilled regularly with fresh ones. All cookies were good, but we loved the macadamia and chocolate covered ones the most. Here are my recommended choices - Butter Macdamia - Good Pineapple Macadamia - Good Coconut Macadamia - Good Dark chocolate Lilikoi - Good Chocolate Chip Mini Bites - Good White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Coconut - OMG yes! Dark chocolate dipped macadamia - OMG yes! On our last day at Hawaii, we bought several large gifts boxes of pre-packaged and customized sets to take home for friends and family. The cookies were individually wrapped to stay fresh and crisp. Though a bit pricey, they were worth every crumb. Everyone loved them and we received lots of praises and compliments. A definite must when you're in Honolulu. I can't wait to come back! Tip - Buy them here before your trip back to mainland because they're more expensive at the airport. read more

So, I'm not a sweets fan but stopping at this great cookie company at the Linq in Vegas has been a treat...samples of so many products shipped in from Hawaii. They have apparently just expanded to Caesar's which is more convenient to our usual stay at Aria. However, a family member has just returned from an Hawaii trip and presented us with a box of mixed cookies. I just randomly picked two to sample...one was a coconut something and the other was a more plain cookie, maybe a sugar type but oh my, both were phenomenal. Get these...they're all great. Mail order them. Go to Vegas, Hawaii, or wherever else they're sold. What a treat! read more

During a October-November visit to Honolulu, I stopped by the store in the Marriott Waikiki. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the samples are wonderful, and I took full advantage of their generosity! Every one of these individually-wrapped, buttery, pineapple-shaped shortbread cookies is a winner. My favorites are the Kona Coffee, the Dark Chocolate Dipped Macadamia (they offer Milk Chocolate as well), the Coconut, and the Triple Chocolate Macadamia. I was also lucky to be there during Halloween, so they were offering the seasonal Dipped Pumpkin Spice. I came in for a quick dessert, and left with four big assortment boxes for Christmas gifts. Please open a store in the Long Beach area. We're begging you. read more

During our Hawaii vacation, we stumbled across as many Honolulu Cookie Company shops as there were ABC stores in Waikiki and so glad we did! Honolulu Cookie Company offers a variety of cute pineapple-shaped shortbread cookies made with natural Hawaiian-inspired flavors, including Kona coffee, macadamia nuts, lilikoi (passion fruit), mango, and pineapple, all adding a taste of the island to each cookie. During the holiday season, they also rolled out seasonal flavors, such as pumpkin, peppermint and ginger spice. The cookies are packaged by hand in signature Honolulu Cookie Company packaging so that each box can be presented as a treasured gift to friends and loved ones. What is cool about the Honolulu Cookie Company is that the staff are really friendly and patient while tourists and customers shopped and sampled around (and tourists could be quite loud and oblivious sometimes). There was one particular male staff who helped us and really welcoming, even sharing that he was originally from Arcadia, CA! He welcomed us to sample different cookies, reassured us to take our time deciding and even if customers did not purchase anything, he was nice and professional. After sampling a ton of cookies, my fiance and I finally decided to get a Fall Pumpkin Box and Surfboard Box Premium Collection. We really enjoyed the macadamia, white chocolate dipped and pumpkin shortbread cookies and highly recommend grabbing a few boxes of Honolulu Cookie Company items during your visit. I love these cute pineapple shaped butter cookies. I shamelessly walked in at least once a day to eat samples! So good I left with 3 large boxes of cookies to give to friends back home. The chocolate covered macadamia nuts are over rated and over done. These cookies were a better gift and snack to eat. I ate a whole box to myself! They had different packaged cookies filled with an assortment of flavors, but my favorite was the cookie bar. Basically, there are three box size options and you can decide what flavors you want to add to your box. And not gonna lie, but the other box probably won't make it to the intended recipient. LOL! My favorite flavors: Coffee dipped in chocolate, coffee, plain butter cookie, and the pineapple flavor. read more

Established in 1998.

Honolulu Cookie Company started in 1998 when entrepreneurs Keith and Janet Sung developed a recipe for premium shortbread cookies. As an artist, Keith wanted to develop something unique - a cookie that represented true Hawaiian hospitality. What he created was a line of island-inspired flavors in a signature pineapple shape. The recipe has been refined over the years, but we always carry through that dedication to quality ingredients inspired by the flavors of our island home.From our bakery, stores opened throughout Honolulu, particularly in Waikiki, to ensure the hospitality that inspired our cookies was delivered to visitors from around the world. Eventually, we found homes and opened new locations on Maui, Las Vegas and Guam.

Unfortunately, neither drink had much blueberry flavor. The iced tea lemonade tasted more like a classic Arnold Palmer, while the cold brew was a bit too sweet for my taste and wasn't my favorite overall. I assume the lot right beside the shop is some parking but since I've already secure a parking in the area decided to walk over and is very easy to find on Beachwalk. I was surprised of how small the shop is though there was two tables it was very close together and with already a couple seated with a pot of hot tea I did feel comfortable seating with my simple cup but did manage to browse around the various Royce Chocolates that they have and along with a display case filled with all types of desserts. As I approached the service counter the gentleman was meh and asked about their tea to which he gave me the menu and after a quick glance went with one of their specialties "Cranberry Mist" perhaps with the holidays approaching it sounded festive as it's Ceylon tea and cranberry cocktail...oo! Nothing fancy a tea brewed perfectly paired with the cranberry cocktail to kick it up a notch no garnish nothing exciting but don't get me wrong it was wonderful not too sweet very light and refreshing and just what I needed on this hot afternoon in Waikiki.
