    Kona coffee slice
    Michele T.

Walking by and the Kona coffee slice caught hubs' attention. He couldn't resist and had to try one. It was about $7.50 for the slice and it was a good sized portion. Hubs really enjoyed it - not to sweet and good combo of chocolate and coffee. Nice little sweet treat for the day.

Shake is refreshing. Gelato is smooth but such a small scoop. One has a choice of oreo cookie or graham cracker. Too bad they discontinued points program.

I think it's the first time I've ever been inside this cozy little sweets shop at the ewa end of Ward Center right next to the golf store. What caught my eye were the German cookies, marzipan and stolen - treats I grew up with in Eastern Canada. It was clear that business had been brisk that morning because there were a few empty baskets where smaller items had been. Even all the chocolate ginger in the refrigerated section was sold out. I was happy to pick up some marzipan & German ginger cookies so I was happy. I asked the owners where they made their chocolate sweets and they showed me the back of the store. Nice. I'll definitely be back before the end of the year since their future is still unknown.

Diamond Head Chocolate Company is one of my favorite places to grab quality chocolate. Employees are friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Chocoholic heaven!! We had some time before our reservation so I decided to browse around Ward Shops and happened to find DHCC lol!! Looking at each item the variety this little place has is quite impressive including a huge display case filled with so many items including chocolate dipped strawberries *omg!* Mom decided on some chocolate covered kakimochi which sounds quite intriguing and wondered if there was dark and there was got that for her for Mother's Day. They are located on the ground floor right across from Fat Cheeks which is super easy to find and convenient for a quick cravings pick up or for that special someone as they have so much to choose from. Follow them on Instagram @diamondheadchocolate and see what they have to offer you'd be surprised they have everything for that sweet cravings! Thank you!

I was given gifts recently from Diamond Chocolates! I loved the cute tiny box of dark and milk chocolate macadamia clusters so I decided to pick up some boxes for a recent holiday favors. I picked up a box of three white, dark & milk chocolate covered oreos and chocolate covered arare in a bag for my mom! My mom enjoyed it! They have many pre-packaged chocolate to give away as gifts. A friend at work also got preordered chocolate dipped fortune cookie with their personalized message and I got one from her to congratulations me for my years of service at work. Diamond Head Chocolate sells other cute non chocolate items like lanyards, masks and card holder. I'm so glad there's a store at Ward Centre! They make nice presents or a nice treat for yourself! Great and helpful service and free parking! Thanks for reading my review! (#240, #40 for 2022) 11:57pm lol

Located on the 1st floor of Ward center directly across from Fat Cheeks is this decadent chocolate shop by the name of Diamond Head Chocolate. I have been to this location twice and both times left with a bag full of goodies. The shop is small and both times I have been has only had 1 employee working. Both times was a young man that was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a scoop of kona coffee gelato (sorry no pic, me and the hubby gobbled it up too quick). It was creamy and tasted like the perfectly sweetened cup of coffee. . We also got a box of their hand made truffles. They were rich and sinfully delicious. They have lots of other treats to choose from including chocolate covered dried fruit, chocolate covered Arare and different flavored chocolate covered oreos (lemon is my favorite). If you're in the neighborhood and looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth Diamond Head Chocolates has you covered.

Stopped by to look at golf clubs-came.out with chocolate! The display is eye catching with bright colors mermaids displayed to draw your eye in and then you see the chocolates. Great selection from om barks-pralines-etc. We ate a salt caramel bonbon and the rocky road bark. The service was cheerful and professional and the chocolate was high quality in color-taste and texture. I'll be back!

The prices here match the quality for sure. If you're ever at Ward Centre & are craving exquisite chocolate, then this is most definitely the place for you ! Good selection. Something for every craving palate. Love the displays & decor as well. Service is meh.

This is my favorite Go To chocolate boutique. It's located in Ward Centre, street level. Free parking is available in the attached parking structure. Truly delectable choices can be found to satisfy you and chocolate lovers alike. Love the store's decor and service - always a pleasant experience!

Located in Ward Centre in the former space for the Honolulu Chocolate Company, I believe they have been renamed or reopened as Diamond Head Chocolate Company. The product offerings seems identical and packaging is as well. I love the milk chocolate from here. Their chocolate dipped oreos are to die for. Amazing only $1 each. I also got a chocolate dipped fortune cookie too. Chocolate always puts me a better mood. Love their decorative windows during the holidays. So festive and inspiring. They have items packaged ready for gift giving. A vast selection of truffles. They take care when wrapping and packaging their treats so presentation is on point.

Momi Dolce's owner and confectioner is Michelle Serota who is from Brazil and she brings her tradition to Hawai'i. She sells her brigadeiros (pronounced "Bree-gah-day-ro") by 4-pack or 6-pack. Her featured flavors are: -Dark chocolate -Crunchy chocolate with cacao nibs -Coconut (white chocolate) -Passion fruit or lilikoi (white chocolate) -Kauai coffee -Almond All of the flavors are intense but balanced by the premium chocolate and condensed milk used in making them. I suppose one could compare them to ganache that is used in making chocolate truffles. These brigadeiros are creamy and fudge-like though it melts smoothly as you might pop them in your mouth. The good thing about Momi Dolce is that Michelle can be reached online so you don't have to wait for her appearance at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market. You can thank me later... Obrigado!

We saw some people illegally parked on the street right on the corner, but they didn't care, they would brave a citation just for these amazing treats! I am sure the neighbors who live across from this place think this is a massive headache, to have such a popular chocolate place right in their own neighborhood - either that, or a blessing, since they can just walk right across! There are 4 tiny stalls in the driveway in the front of the Doggie Bakery and this place, but it looks far too challenging to get in and out and onto the main street, which is insanely busy on a weekend. We parked in the neighboring lot and purchased something from another business just so we could get some chocolates here. If the parking situation were better, I'd come back. I purchased the Hokkaido Soft Serve (weekends only, I think), it was delicious but I was expecting more fatty mouthfeel for something that was labeled as "Hokkaido". It was lighter than I was expecting. The chocolates, on the other hand, were fabulous and worth every, expensive, penny. By the way, who the heck nowdays says "worth every penny"? Probably old folks like me who knew what a penny was, and now due to inflation and the Federal Reserve nixxing the penny, it's probably worth 0.0012 cents now. Rainbow Shave Ice - it really does taste like shave ice! I came here mainly for this, as I've heard the hype and the hype is real! Hibiki Whisky Chocolate - nice and lovely. Dubai Chocolate - with gold leaf and everything. The Dubai craze is insane. This was good, but the least of my favorites. Six chocolates + one soft serve = $30.

Hubs had to fast from 6 am for his 2 pm surgery so I thought he would probably be starving and would enjoy a delectable salt and butter roll from here. I had seen two occupied tables as I walked into the shop. Both had matcha drinks. Why not? I asked the young man assisting me, what's the best matcha drink? He said his favorite was banana matcha with extra banana foam. Okay I'll try it. He repeated it to the cashier. So popular there was a wait for beverages to be prepared. Soon enough mine was ready. I think Doc would enjoy this drink. This shop is a working bakery. Many yummy pastries displayed. Menu is posted high up above to choose from. Rather tiny shop with room for customers to stand in line to order and wait for drinks. Clean, busy with a few tables and chairs outside but pretty much in direct sun.

We arrived right when they opened at 5 pm on Wednesday, so it wasn't crowded at all. I was immediately impressed by the interior design and atmosphere. We started with cocktails: the Lychee Martini and the Pooka Punch. Both were tasty. The martini was sweet and not strong, and the punch had a flavor profile similar to a Mai Tai. For the appetizer, we ordered the Onaga from the Crudo section. It was refreshing, and the beet garnish added a slightly sweet and unique touch. Next, we had the King Crab Pasta. The sauce was Uni (Sea Urchin) butter without cream, which was great for someone lactose intolerant like me. The pasta was freshly made in-house and cooked perfectly al dente. So good. Our main dish was the Branzino. It was fresh, delicious, and had plenty of meat for the two of us. The sauce complemented it well. For sides, we chose the Asparagus and the Crispy Garlic Potatoes. The asparagus was cooked just right, and the olive tapenade added a nice depth of flavor. The potatoes were similar to smashed potatoes -- crispy on the outside and very satisfying. Lastly, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. It was a wonderful experience overall. I'll definitely be back to try their steaks next time, along with other dishes.
