Came in for an medical emergency seeking for help. The receptionist told me there is nothing they could do.

Upon arrival, they gave me a one-page health survey to fill out, which I did and within 10 minutes they had called me back to the testing area. They had me put my purse into a locked locker (of which I held the key for), and took me into the MRI suite. They had me lay down on the table, and even gave me a blanket as it was a little chilly in the room. The MRI took about 15 minutes to complete and I was out of the office by 8:05am (just 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time). Perfect. The employees were fabulous and I have zero complaints. Hope I dont have to go back for more testing, but if I do, I'll gladly go to this location.

Meanwhile the receptionists will sit gabbing away. What are they waiting on? The new usually move to the second waiting room or you could wait another 30 minutes or more. I don't get it. The South is pleasant but their system is broken. Why when I walk into the office and no one is at the check-in (everyone sitting around) and have to wait to go check in. Then you realize all these people are still waiting to be called up. Not happy. Its my 2nd time here and same same.

I used their service in February, was billed in March and immediately wrote a check, which cleared my bank on March 30. By SECOND invoice, dated April 29, I was billed for the same services. No one answers (or returns calls) at the number listed on the invoice. I have called them three times. I also called the vendor who wanted me to send e-mail proof that I had paid. I am unable to do that so she said she would contact their billing office.

Firstly, the office staff used to be very nice. I have extreme claustrophobia and this woman, I…read morebelieve her name is Susanne, usually sits with me in the room during the 75 second procedure. I had a ct scan on 10/15. WS told very sternly by the new office manager that from now on, I have to bring someone with me; that they are short staffed and will not spend the 75 seconds required for the ct scan to sit with me! The office mgr at this location has a lot to learn about customer/patient care. If this were my clinic, she'd be gone. The other issue is that I asked them to print out the films on a cd and mail it to my neurosurgeons office in Phoenix! Not only did the surgeon never receive it, but when I called advanced to see if they sent it out, they said there was no date indicating when it was sent, just says "mailed." Now I know usps has been slow, but it doesn't take 15 days to mail a cd from Mesa to Phoenix! THIS OFFICE IS COMPLETELY INEPT AT ANYTHING. There are plenty other radiographic places to go; why settle for an office that just doesn't care. Definitely will never be going back there.

So not only was the actual exam uncomfortable, the tech made me uncomfortable. This was the worst mammogram experience I've ever had. I am convinced Simon Med is involved in fraudulent billing. I started coming here a few years ago…read morefor mammograms and breast ultrasounds every 6 months. After each time I would receive a bill that would not match my EOB statement from my insurance company. I had to call each time to dispute the bill. They usually complied with my insurance company after a couple phone calls. The most recent bill they did not agree with my insurance and wanted an extra $300 over my EOB. I went on their website and paid what my insurance company told me I owed with my HSA. Simon Med is claiming to never have gotten what I paid them. My HSA has a record of the money going to Simon Med. Simon Med said I paid 'the wrong department' and cannot find the funds and threatened to send me to collections. I paid the full bill to avoid collections - so now I OVERPAID Simon Med by $300 and they refuse to refund me. My HSA won't refund me because they said it's been over 60 days. I decided to get mammograms and breast ultrasounds at a different company after the billing issue. The radiologist told me she sees no reason why Simon Med told me to come every 6 months for screening. I truly believe their billing department is fraudulent or at the very least unethical. I believe they told me to keep coming every 6 months just for the money and not because anything on my scan looked cancerous.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Yes, the staff is nice (very nice even, and a clean place) BUT I…read morewill never step foot in there simply because of their outlandish hidden pricing for an Urgent Care that IS IN my network. Use this as a massive warning! (And I am seeing others comment in these reviews similarly.) Circumstance 1: I went in to the Urgent Care for a UTI and was charged, using insurance, $812.00 just for a dip stick urine test and under a 2 minute doctor consultation to write me an RX. My insurance paid $7.37 total because they said that is the cost of a test. That makes sense. So what is left is costing me over $400 a minute for help for face to face care with a doctor. Circumstance 2: I went to the same Urgent Care (didn't have the bill for the previous one, otherwise I would not have gone) for bronchitis and a sinus infection. Again, heart rate, bp, and a stethoscope to my chest was all that was done, in addition to the prescription to take to a local pharmacy (no xrays or anything like that). This one was charged $528...so over $150 per minute to be face to face with a doctor. Both times I went, I was the ONLY patient in the waiting room (and didn't see one in the main part of the rooms). It's not like I was at a high peak time even. Why weren't others there...probably because they have read so many poor reviews unlike I did. I was telling this with a friend of mine and she told me that this happened to her as well (same location for an ear infection), resulting in an outlandish bill, so I am not the only person that this has happened to. I have called many times to get them to recode/adjust trying to dispute it even asking for the self payout, and they are not budging. They are standing behind their stomach-dropping fees. I will also say, I have gone to this location other times in past years for the same issues and never received such outlandish bills. It's as if they are treating this like an emergency room (and with my multiple phone calls the billing department employees keeps saying "ER"). I have driven by the place to make sure it didn't change to an ER and I mistakenly didn't notice, but the sign on the building (and the website) says Urgent Care. I am NOT trying to get out of paying for my services, but I will stand up for what is "right" and announce to many what a horrible company they have become. Seems like the only thing I can do is leave a bad review, notify the news company, file a complaint with the department of health, in addition to my insurance company (Blue Cross) knowing. Price gouging at its finest. Very deceiving business practice. Please go anywhere but here! Never, ever again will I use them! (Look at the slew of Google reviews on this place. I am by far not the only one!)
