Absolutely THE WORST! If you want to lose quarters to broken machines with NO SIGNS , if you want to lose your quarters while walking on unswept floors while walking next to trash cans I er filled then , this is your place ! The TV has no sound , prior to losing my quarters , I tried to purchase dryer sheets from their ghetto vending machine which was jammed with a penny or whatever . I did try another dryer which did work however get this ! The hours are from 6 am to 11:pm I sat in my car instead of sitting in the oversized dumpster seating area , and it was 10:55 pm . I walk up to open the door AND ITS LOCKED ! NO NUMBER TO CALL . NO EMERGENCY CONTACT ###!!!! THIS IS THE WORST ! THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE !!!! FILTHY , RIP OFF PLACE ! I needed to do several loads, but the coin machine ate my $20 and only gave me $12.50. The $10 and every dollar I used after that worked just fine, but I won't put anymore $20 in it. I read a review that someone else was able to email and the owner came and helped right away, but I didn't see any paperwork or emails for me to contact anywhere. It's pretty clean, but there are shady characters loitering around, and no employees as far as I can tell if anyone wanted to get into the bathroom. The washers are all coin operated, except for a giant 9 load washer, and considering how many quarters it would eat, that's nice. The dryers all take cards as far as I saw, which is a bit odd to be half and half, but I would rather use my card sometimes than not at all. It's slightly more convenient that way. Decent laundromat, but not very clean and the machines take a while. Definitely functional, but would not be my first choice again.

Beware! Keep your eyes on your things at all times. Came here with my daughter we were the only ones in there a few random people walking in and out. One guy opened his jacket and offered us to buy a bunch of what looked like stolen jewelry. And then as I turn my back to the dryer a lady came in and stole my husbands hundred dollar shoes and two lunch bags for my children that I had washed and were on table drying. Emailed owner told him situation he checked the cameras and sent me sure enough her taking my things and walking out. The owner insured me that he would send me something to help pay for my things that were stolen I gave him my address never heard from him. The only reason why I can give only one star is... Before that happened and it seem to be pretty clean. But you can be sure I no longer go here!!! read more

Nice and clean. I wish there was a sink and the bathroom unlocked but I understand how these things get abused and vandalized. There's free wifi, a 1$ machine for laundry soap and stuff. The change machine has worked perfectly for me. The machines are new and clean, $3 for a double load and $.25 for 8 minutes in the dryer. read more

Hood Coin Laundry - Quiet Saturday morning. - Laundromat Near Me - Gresham, Oregon

I must admit that my visit to Hood Coin Laundry was a bit up and down at first. Walking in, I immediately noticed that all the machines appeared new and clean as did all of the surrounding floors, walls, etc. - always a welcome sight at a laundromat! The machines are coin-only. In a day and age of credit cards, this is a little frustrating but not awful I guess. So, I left and went to the ATM and then back to use the coin changer- in exchange for my $20 it spit out $1.50. (Luckily there was a second coin changer.) So, now I'm looking around for a phone number and I found an email address listed on the wall. I emailed thinking I'd get my money in a month or two. I immediately received an email from the owner telling me he would be there in 20 minutes. He arrived and gave me the full $20 back and offered to get the clothes washed up for free but I declined because I had already washed everything. He was prompt, apologetic, and extremely nice. This is a personally owned business and the difference shows. A few notes for the owners. The free dryers are BOMB! Thank you! A few suggestions: There are no hours listed, so that would be nice to have listed on the door. There is also no soap not paper towels in the bathroom... this is a must. It would also be nice to have a few rolling carts with racks for hanging items to avoid wrinkling your hanging clothes. You guys have a great place and despite living in the gorge, there's a high likelihood we will be back to do our laundry every week. Thanks! read more

Nice new machines, but that's it. No sink, no vending machs, no WiFi, no toilet, floor needed sweeping. 3 stars for the new, fast machines.

When I was getting change I was shorted of a 5 dollars bill (50 Cents) then I put in another 5 and it gave me a nickel! Probably won't come back here again. read more

Went there on a weekday morning. I initially noticed nice new looking machines, then I noticed there was trash and a lot of lint and dust bunnies on the floor. Against my better judgement I went ahead and washed my comforter and a jacket. Unfortunately it wasn't until after I put my money in the machine that I opened the soap dispenser. It was absolutely caked with soap from previous users! UGH! I went ahead and put my soap in. I dried my comforter and noticed the awful smell from the leftover detergent build up in the washer. The smell is so bad to almost make me nauseous. I have been trying to air it out for 2 days now. I'm going to have to find another laundromat and re- wash it. What a waste of time and money. While I was there I noticed a sign that provides the owners email address so I reported the problem. I did get a response saying the cleaner hadn't been there yet that day. I won't be back. read more
