Bentonville Eye Care gave great customer service all around. I love their selection of glasses. They have a selection of lower priced and higher end eyewear. We got the glasses and they were heavier than expected. I stated we were not looking for a refund but not going to settle on glasses that hurt my wife nose. I asked where the lighter frames were and she pointed into the direction where all the glasses were. I asked if it would be too much for her to show us the frames she hesitantly did. She is not a friendly person and I will not be dealing with her in the future the doctors have always seemed nice. Stay Away from Sarah just rude. We did get her prescription and will be going somewhere else to get her some more glasses.

Dr. Howell worked so well with the kids, making them completely comfortable and explaining everything he was checking and seeing. They were so excited to look through the "binoculars" and see which letters they could and couldn't read. They've already asked if they can go back soon. The office is incredibly beautiful and comfortable. It's a very peaceful atmosphere with great coffee, and the staff is very helpful as well. Also, Dr. Howell was able to answer a question I've been asking optometrists for YEARS about one of my eyes, with no real answer. He took the time to look into it, examine my eye, and explain exactly what is happening. It gave me such peace of mind. He really did go the extra mile to make sure we understood everything. All of my boys checked out with perfect vision, but mama needed some new frames, which I wasn't too sad about! Adrienne was SO great in helping me pick them out. She wasn't rushing me to hurry up and pick, but was actually considering what looked good (and not so good) on my face shape, with my style, etc. I've been to many optometrist offices, and this is by far the best experience I've ever had. It feels like family, not like you're the next number in line, and that's priceless. Super grateful to have found them and we will definitely be returning for all of our eye needs. And good coffee. They would realize how frustrated customers were for the wait. This also makes the working environment tough, especially if you are constantly having to deal with upset customers. My advice would be hire a couple part time employees to work the front desk to help the staff and who can adjust glasses, fill out repair orders, and handle pickups! One of the cons is if you need to talk to someone in the actual store, location, you can't reach them. Your call is directed overseas and they will not put you through to the store where you are doing business; I really don't like this. I like to be able to talk to someone that I have talked to inside the store not someone who I have trouble understanding. I did not have a complete prescription from my optometrist's office and had to get that and was told that I could email it to someone inside the actual store. Now I cannot make contact with that person and I want to see if my prescription has been received. This is an edit to the original review. They had to order trial contacts for me, and something happened where the trials did not come in until 5/10. They did give me a pair of contacts to wear until the trials came in, however, that pair is well over a month old now and has been giving me trouble for the last week or so. Pricing is also ridiculous! A contact lens exam wasn't covered by my insurance, so I paid full price of almost $120. I did have $200 through my insurance to spend on contacts, however, they charge way too much for those through the office and I ended up paying $50 more per box or $100 more than the price that is advertised on walmart.com and other competitor websites. I will never use them again and plan to go back to a family practice next time. If you have VSP, it is definitely not worth it to come here.

I'm wearin them now! haha and they are good ! So i'm happy. Just maybe don't try to pick your new frames blindly.... I looked like a female dahmer for a year. :| the decor is nice, the arrangement of the building is ..interesting, with like multiple different waiting rooms, a separate area entirely for the glasses, and then a area for exams and a entire other separate area for surgeries. I can't speak to the surgery side of things, i have not had surgery on my eyes before. Hopefully i wont..but i mean u never know. Anyways um it's agood place and the doctor was really nice and made it easy to follow directions. the receptionists were quick to respond to each patient and the paperwork you fill out when you get there is minimal enough that you can finish it before you get called back by the nurse for your preliminary eye exam. The nurse i had was also very accomodating to me and she was patient when I had trouble figuring out how to use the little vision tester box. overall it's a great place, but its the only eye doctor ive ever been to so im just gonna rate it a 4 since i dont have anything at all to compare it to.
