Office treatment by clerks have been very bad, even witnessed two elderly couple being yell at and cut off while talking. Not very polite to disrespect the elder.

And when I presses forward, I was told I'm not a good fit and got hung up on. When I responded to a survey I was called by a member of their leadership team who blamed me. This is not care. It is a business model to get as much insurance and pro are money as possible.

Threatening and coercive language...I wouldn't return to this emergency clinic even if my life depended on it. The physician on staff (my family and I can't even remember her name because she was not involved in hardly any of my care) and the RN Magdiel were completely incompetent and condescending. I ended up being transferred by ems to another hospital for emergency gallbladder removal and while under the care of this staff I've never been so untreated and uncared for by medical personnel in my 41 years. Unsafe wheelchair handling - Mr. Magdiel RN repeatedly ran my wheelchair into doorways and furniture, creating unnecessary discomfort and risk of injury. Violation of privacy - Upon taking me to the restroom, Mr. Magdiel RN told my father to remain in the bathroom to help me urinate, despite my clear statement that I did not need assistance. I am 41 years old, and this was both inappropriate and unnecessary. Lack of competency - He did not appear to know how to start an IV. When I expressed that starting one in my hand would cause significant pain due to my condition, he disregarded my concerns. And I already had a working IV another female nurse started in my right AC Threatening and coercive language - When I declined the IV in my hand, he stated, "Well, I guess I'll have to tape your arms down straight then." I refused, to which he replied, "Well, I guess you don't want your medication for pain then." This was manipulative, unethical, and unacceptable. Because I already had a working IV to my right AC. For the amount of effort this clinic puts into patient service and satisfaction scores you would think they would have better hired staff. Even the ems transport team ShurMed has more empathy and compassion. I definitely left ShurMed a five star review

I don't feel like just a number here, I feel like they truly care about my health. And they are wonderful with our children. I have 3 special needs kids, and they are super with them, patient and treat them like people. They don't just talk to me, they talk directly to my kiddo and answer any questions they have directly. It is great to find a place where you feel like you and your kids matter. Highly recommend this clinic!!

I didn't think much of it at the time, but the pain just increased and spread. When 8:00 rolled around I knew I was done playing games with this and needed to get checked out. Heart failure runs in the family. Not wanting the huge bill from an emergency room, I picked Texas MedClinic relatively close to home just off I-35 between Eisenhauer and Walzem Rd. You can check in online and avoid sitting in the waiting room too long. I was given an estimated 35-55 minute wait time. They also give you the option of filling out the intake paperwork online. This was great as I filled the paperwork out while my wife drove me over. Once I got there, having filled out the paperwork already and checked in, all I had to do was provide my ID and insurance card, and they had me back in a room in a jiffy. Now given that my concern was heart attack symptoms, I may have gotten priority treatment, but wow, the nurse assistant had the doctor in my room as soon as she could and I was getting an EKG in no time. Luckily for me, the EKG was clear. I was discharged very soon afterwards spending less than half an hour there in total. I am sure an ER would have kept me half the night at least! Now, as much as I would have liked to know what was really going on since it wasn't a heart attack, I can appreciate having the least amount of testing done to be sure I wasn't dying since tests can cost a whole lot of money. I really appreciate that this place was there for me, treated me with courtesy and respect, and cared for me during an emergency. All the staff involved were very professional and understanding. I couldn't be happier with my visit and will definitely be back if I need to.

What a great clinic! It's conveniently located near me, and although I've visited other places a…read morebit farther in the past, I decided to try this one. I'm so glad I did. I checked in, filled out my paperwork, and was seen within about 10 minutes. I was feeling very dehydrated and weak, so they took my blood sugar, checked my vitals, examined my throat and ears, and ran tests to rule out flu, COVID, and strep. It was very reassuring to see them taking the time to rule out all the major concerns. They determined I was fighting an infection, so I received a steroid shot and my first dose of antibiotics right there in the clinic. They even had me wait a while afterward to make sure I didn't have any adverse reactions, which I appreciated. They sent my prescriptions promptly to the H-E-B next door, and I didn't have to wait long before I was headed home. I truly cannot recommend this urgent care enough. It's the best I've ever been to.
