Came here after a night at the Giggling Marlin (read my review when you have time to read a short novel) as I was scrambling to find a place to watch Adesanya vs Periera. I walk by and it is standing room only, so I walk in and grab a Pacifico and walk outside.There are about 5 screens within view of the sidewalk. I am outside, beer in hand as the walkouts begin. God bless Mexico. Lawless. The crowd in Hooliganz was absolutely electric, overreacting to every punch that lands. My kind of people. I even made some friends on the sidewalk as other people were doing the same as me. The place EXPLODED when Izzy sent him to the Shadow Realm late in the 2nd round. I found myself hugging random strangers on the Cabo sidewalk, beer spilling everywhere. Exaltation. Hooliganz is the perfect spot to watch anything sports related if you are in Cabo! read more

I actually went on March 29, 2019. We stopped in after doing some shopping. It was nice because it was one of those days that I was "margarita"d out. I sat and couldn't decide what I wanted and after my husband had his drink and the bartender helped a few more, he told me, " I know what you want." He opened a refrigerator and pulled out this mug with herbs and watermelon. He let me smell it and then added alcohol to it, shook it up and gave it to me. It was amazing! The drink was called Watermelon Crush. Goodness, I wish I had one now! The two bartenders made small talk and made us feel comfortable. I read the reviews before I typed this and feel so bad for the experience that the people had in April. I didn't have any problems when I went. Then again, I was not driving. I think I did see the owner and honestly, he just stayed with his friends and didn't talk to me. That is okay because the two bartenders were AWESOME! read more

Went in to watch the second half of the women's USA soccer game against Sweden. Had three drinks and two bottle waters. Bill came and 2.5% was added for tip, told our waiter I would pay way more then 2.5% for tip. But again I wanted him to pick what option he wanted to go with. He told me "to never come back!" And i won't, and all my friends who are teachers with their summers off I will tell them to stay clear of this place. I wanted to help him out and got ask to "never come back." I feel bad for tipping so low but that's what he forced me to do. read more

Hector and Uncle Teo are the greatest!! No frills dive bar and not overpriced like the other touristy bars in Cabo that rhyme with Cabo Taco and Senor Dog's. My girlfriend and I barhopped when we first got to Cabo and ended up coming back here almost every night we were here. Visitors be warned that the address listed on Yelp and where it's located on the map is incorrect. Trust me, wandered around that neighborhood for a good 10 mins looking for Hooliganz. Walked down to the main road and it was right in front of us. Its on the corner of Calle Lazaro Cardenas and Calle Mariano Matamoros. Fries, nachos, and wings were all great! Drinks are awesome! Lots of locals and expats hang out here, had plenty of interesting conversation with everyone; your real life Dos Equis "most interesting men/women" of the world hang out here, at least a lot more interesting than the other people staying at your all inclusive resort that are afraid to wander the streets at night. Do NOT use a credit card here! Hooliganz was recommended to me since they were showing the UFC fight. Had a beer and mixed drink and since they couldn't break my $100 bill I had to use my credit card. My bill came to 130 pesos, I tipped very generously at 60 pesos for a total of 190 pesos. They changed my tip amount from 60 to 160 pesos and overcharged me by 60%! Really sad as this seemed like a nice bar and the owner seemed sincere. BAD BIZ to let employees or management screw over a patron. Vote with your dollars and pesos elsewhere. read more

We went here 3 of the 8 nights we stayed in Cabo. We had the BEST margaritas of our trip and amazing service. Hector and Teo were the best- so welcoming and kind. The bar has hockey and sporting events on and is super chill. The music is not pounding out the door like most of the bars here. I've been coming to Cabo for more than 20 years and have consumed several thousand margaritas over those 20+ years. I can say that without any doubt that Hooliganz serves the best margarita in Cabo and possibly the entire world. The first big separator from the also-ran is fresh juices not a margarita mix. Then their tequila is the real deal from Jalisco Telquila and its exceptional (I suggest you experience a shot at room temperature and a shot chilled) both are great. The staff are very friendly, take a lot of pride in their margaritas as they should and you can tell they love what they do, even dealing with drunk gringos. It is sad that it took me this long to find Hooliganz but you count on me stopping in whenever I'm in Cabo. read more
