Every server is over the top fantastic if you want great service this is the place, if you want great sports and food this is the place oh and by the way, they have valet parking unheard of in Cabo. My wife loves the chipotle, chicken and everything that surrounds it from bread to mashed potatoes to fresh vegetables. It's all great. There is no better Host in Cabo than Madi. This was our second visit in the last couple of months, and Cabo Cantina has easily become our favorite spot in Cabo for tacos and drinks. Everything we've tried has been consistently good, and it's one of those places we actually look forward to coming back to. It was nice to see some of the same faces still working there and happy to greet us as we sat down. The tacos are hands down our favorite, full of flavor and done right every time, and the drinks never disappoint. It's the kind of place where you can sit, relax, and just enjoy the moment without feeling rushed. I can see why this place is a huge hit. It's open setting sports bar, fun vibe, lots of TV screens, variety of tables and chairs (inside and out), good drinks, food, service, etc. We ran into this Cabo Cantina, basically looking for simple authentic Mexican breakfast. The restaurant was a couple minutes away from our resort and didn't feel like walking around searching for the right breakfast place. We took a quick look at the menu, saw friendly and welcoming staff and so we stayed. Being a creature of habit, I ordered chilaquiles with eggs, green sauce, non spicy. It came with beans and no rice. Not exactly the best tasting but not bad. Portioning was average as with platter presentation. Temperature was good. My partner's dish, on the other hand, was not good. It wasn't the worst machaca she's had but definitely was turned off by the machaca's greasiness, as if it was cooked to death. Her hash browns were on the greasy burnt side. Wasn't crispy. Both items may have been cooked in the same oil and pan/skillet. Menu prices were fair compared to marina prices. Service was excellent. We were ignored and over charged, We kept track of our order and were over charged. It took some time to sort the over charge. One time there they had a live band playing and the next they had the boxing match and UFC. After our excursion, hubby and I walked all around Cabo exploring the different shops and the area. We were both hangry, and other places we stopped by were only serving breakfast. Thankfully, Cabo Cantina was also serving lunch, so we decided to eat here. We opted for the seafood medley appetizer and both got tacos (fish for him, shrimp for me) and a margarita (he got watermelon and I had a traditional one). Service was attentive and friendly. We were given complimentary chips and salsas: chips were warm, and the salsas were good, ranging from mild pico de gallo to a hot spicy salsa. The seafood medley was fresh & flavorful, and we both enjoyed our tacos. We thought the meal was expensive, and cost about the same as what we would pay at home. The service was excellent. They seem to work on a tag team type situation. Someone is always willing to offer you assistance if you need it. I had the basic steak street taco with beans and rice. Everything was outstanding. The wife had chicken. And she thoroughly enjoyed it. They do have televisions there so if there's a game on, you'll be able to watch that. We sat in the bar section where you could see the street. It appear as you walked in. You turned to your left. We came here for many laughs and a good time on Wednesday the 20th of January at night. We met the owner and he was a super nice guy. We had a party that we wanted to book for the fight that Saturday night as the UFC was on. The owner told us to come back and they would be showing the fights and promised us a table there for 10+. We came by and they said they had no reservation for us that night. Highly disappointing and bad business, shady to say the least. The steak was tender, not a lot of fat, and you get a good portion. The fish taco good as well, just wished it came with a sauce. One of the things that surprised us was just how good the salsa was, all of them were delicious. We also ordered Margaritas and those were good as well. Cabo cantina is located just off the marina. We stopped in for drinks. My husband said his margarita was terrible. I had a lemon drop martini and it was ok. The prices were high for the quality of drinks we had. The service was not great either. We were seated by the busy road so all we could hear were the sounds of traffic, lots of buses pass by here. As an FYI, everyone we saw there appeared to be 60+, so I wouldn't recommend this for a younger crowd. It seems to be popular among the older Americans. read more
