Adolph Rupp was the only UK coach to win multiple national championships at the school. He won their first four in 1948, 1949, 1951, and 1958. Joe B. Hall (Rupp's former assistant), Rick Pitino, Tubby Smith, and John Calipari were UK's other national championship-winning coaches. They won in 1978, 1996, 1998, and 2012, respectively. I remember the Pitino, Smith, and Calipari championships because those occurred during my lifetime and when I was following college basketball.
