The shelves of older GN's are cover price--no markup on old stuff so it's a good way to find old odds and ends. They're not a huge spot, but the owner is very attentive without being overbearing and is willing to work with you a bit on price, too for some items like back issues where the upfront investment is smaller--just be reasonable with your asks. I'm not a new comics reader but I encourage anyone who is to establish your pull folder here and help these guys' cash flow as much as possible, we need them to hang around in Lex!

"Look with your eyes, not your fingers" fell on deaf ears, but the joy on their faces made me relent on my instructions for my kids. They loved going from section to section, playing with the trains, picking up stuffed animals and making faces in the funhouse mirrors throughout. Like mentioned in my previous review, McWhiggin's has a bit of every toy you would like to find, with some circus-themed signage, oversized stuffed animals and other fun sprinkled throughout. Now, be warned that the prices are a bit on the higher end. The small dragon stuffie my daughter picked out was $10. But this is a locally-owned shop -- well worth the extra expense. This is a must-visit especially if you have kids and are in Madison.

I heard about Pip's Resale from a friend and finally had the opportunity to go check them out. WOW! They have the above mentioned criteria and a huge selection of vintage and new vinyl to pour through. Prices range from $2+ and they have probably the album you're looking for. In addition they have vintage clothes, record players, speakers and lots of magnets, patches and stickers too. Check 'em out!

They both had new tags on them but looked like they had been worn out and tags reattached to trick you into thinking they were new. I can get a brand new pair at Walmart for $29. So I didn't buy them of course. I have sold to them before. They take hardly any of the items and most of my items are brand new with tags or worn once and in great condition and leave them and take the ones that you wouldn't think they would but. Just came home from my second selling experience here. So I…read moresuppose I should have heeded the other reviews before coming here but I usually donate my unwanted kids items and thought hey I can make a few bucks why not. The drop off was alright I had to fill out a form on their tablet and then sign. It was easy. They called me within a few hours the first time and they called me the next day the second time. The first time I had a huge bag of clothing and a few baby items as well as a like-new boppi pillow and several items with tags on. I got $27 and was like hmm ok well I'll be more careful with my next time so I can get more for my items. So this second time, I brought baby toy sets that were gently used, 2 kids bathing suits both with tags on, several great condition baby toys that were hardly used. I got $8. So it's better than nothing but also it's a little sketchy. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the customer service is sub par. Idk I am going to try once upon a child, it's across town but has much better reviews.
