I checked out Camelback Village Racquet & Health Club as a guest on a Sunday evening. This local…read morefitness chain has several locations, including Desert Ridge, Scottsdale, Gilbert, and more. After parking in their complimentary lot without any issues, I checked in at the front desk. You can work out in a bunch of different ways at the Village: standard fitness equipment, classes, basketball, swimming, racquetball, and more. With that being said, they're known for tennis. While I don't know exactly how many courts they have, I'd venture to guess over 20. They're all outside... I don't understand why they don't have at least one or two inside given how hot it is in Phoenix. Which is why we decided to play at 8 p.m. When you're playing, you have the Papago mountains in the background which makes for a picturesque experience. The courts are well maintained, there are shaded seats, wet towels, and water jugs. All of this is a nice touch. You can also rent ball machines if you're practicing solo. The courts weren't busy since it was a Sunday, late, and it was during the summer, but if the weather is nice and it's a weekend, expect the courts to be packed. You can reserve a court to be safe. After working out, I showered at the facility. I was impressed here too. The showers are a good size, you have saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, and an area to chill with comfortable seating. You don't have to bring toiletries because they basically have everything you would need: soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, after shave, shaving cream, combs, q-tips, etc. Talk about convenience. For all of the amenities, you are going to pay a premium. More expensive than places like Mountainside Fitness. At least in my mind, it's only work it if you go several times a week. Or if you're interested in tennis especially. You can also take lessons for an additional charge. The staff I interacted with, though limited, was pleasant.

I'm moving in !!! I…read morethought I had seen it all as far as fitness and health and wellness spaces but I was wrong , so wrong . Okay... I had heard about The Hive in another city and finally made the trek over while in Scottsdale -- honestly not even sure what to expect. Gym? Recovery lounge? Wellness spa? We low-key expected a hole-in-the-wall situation... absolutely not. This place is straight-up luxury. Think elite fitness club meets high-end wellness center with a super cool aesthetic, moody lighting, multiple curated spaces, café vibes, retail, recovery zones -- the whole experience feels intentional and elevated from the moment you walk in. And it's not just trendy wellness fluff either -- they've got legit medical-grade recovery tech (PEMF, HOCATT, hormone replacement therapy, vagus nerve treatments ,therma lounge , many advanced therapies beyond your typical IV drip setups). The gym itself? Top-tier imported Panatta equipment from Italy -- serious fitness folks know how rare that is even in bougie gyms. Towels already placed on cardio machines, never overcrowded, thoughtful details everywhere. Add in açaí bowls, protein shakes, wellness services, retail... it's honestly next-level. Bonus: they offer a 7-day pass which makes it easy to experience everything. Came curious, left impressed -- definitely one of the most elevated fitness/wellness spaces I've visited.

This not a gym, it's a sanctuary. What an incredible community. Wish I lived in town, as this would…read morebe my place.

We sat in section 111, right behind home plate. We purchased food throughout the game and felt the prices were consistent with other ball parks. My only complaint is that vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are very limited and it's challenging to find food info on their website. I recommend eating ahead if you have dietary restrictions or allergies.

I will premise with: I have no clue about baseball, I played rugby and a bit of cricket, so made a total fool of myself but walked away laughing at my ineptitude ;). The event was well worth the prices, there were some vintners I 'knew' from the different events I've been attending the last couple months. The ambiance and vibe was chill, everyone was chatting and milling around, checking out vendors and tasting wines, and there were food trucks serving pizza and gyros. I would have liked some offerings of food inside the venue, but I did get some delicious plant based cupcakes with really good frosting. The whole evening was chill, we sat at a table then went to sit out on the bleachers for a bit more breeze. Very enjoyable event, we'll definitely come back for the next one.
