Fabulous facility! Many different events throughout the year!!! Great seat options, yummy food and absolutely amazing views!!! A very very clean stadium including bathrooms. Ticket prices are beyond reasonable. Friendly staff throughout!! Parking on site for a fee.

Nothing beats great weather, friends, food and spring training! I sat 2nd row near 3rd base behind the dugout. It was slightly warm as this part is uncovered. If you're a person who needs shade sit near home plate or 1st base. They also have lawn seating where you can bring a blanket and pick a spot. Plenty of food and drink options and a fruit kabobs which I've never had at a game via vendor! Parking is very organized and so is the entry. Do yourself a favor and catch a game or 2 and get a hotdog!

Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is one of the most enjoyable spring training venues I've visited. The setting is beautiful, with modern architecture surrounded by desert scenery, and the entire complex feels open, relaxed, and easy to navigate. The sightlines are great from every seat, the atmosphere is friendly and laid‑back, and the game experience feels intimate in the best way. Food options are solid, staff is welcoming, and parking is surprisingly smooth for busy game days. Overall, it's the perfect place to spend a sunny Arizona afternoon watching baseball.

Attended a Savanah Banana game. Food was great. Sound system was great. Get seats in the shade to make sure you stay cool OR wear light colored clothing and sun screen. Water is 6.50 per bottle.. water should NOT be that expensive!

While our group didn't try any of the food or drinks, we enjoyed the experience of sitting in the outfield grassy area, enjoying the warm weather, and spring training game.

We are fortunate enough to have spring training here in Arizona. This is one of the nicer spring training ballparks in the Cactus League. Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is the spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies. The stadium opened in 2011 and holds around 11,000 people. Before that, both teams played their spring training games in Tucson. I come here often to see the Diamondbacks play. I enjoy the intimate feel of spring training games where you can see the players up close behind the dugout and in the bullpen as they warm up. Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is right off the 101 and is a great place for families. It is located next to Talking Stick Resort and Casino Arizona which is owned by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. I am a lawn seat guy. I like to grab a dog and drink and just chill in the grass. There are lots of concession stands and vendors that walk around. I enjoy the variety of southwestern cuisine that they offer here. There are vendors that sell your normal baseball favorites like hot dogs, peanuts, churros, nachos, and other snacks. There are also a couple of beer gardens and local favorites like Someburros, Streets of New York and Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt. Local legend Luis Gonzales has a stand named after him called Gonzo's Grill. I love me a good Sonoran Dog when I come here. Both the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies have their own separate team shops. They also sell Cactus League merchandise. Salt River Fields at Talking Stick hosts several events throughout the year when they aren't hosting baseball games.

The facilities at this field are so clean and beautiful. I had a great time watching a spring training game here with some family. Also I find it really cool that you can get so close to the bullpen.

My favorite time of the year! Salt River Fields is my favorite Spring Training facility. Home to the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rookies Major League Baseball teams. There's plenty of parking around the stadium. If you don't mind walking you can park in some free spots. It's very clean and organized. Seems like there's more food vendors this year. Kona coffee, Açaí bowls, Island Noodles, Cactus popcorn, etc. There's two nice sized team stores for each team. Wish they carried more women's small and medium sizes. The main thing to note when buying tickets is that if you are in the Colorado Rookies home size you will likely be in the shade. Most of the lower level seats on the home Arizona Diamondback size will be in the sun. Fun place but get your food early or you will be waiting in line a long time.

One of my favorite spring training parks! Diamond backs and Rockies are the home teams at this super modern stadium! Like other stadiums, they stadium off area for picnic, seats with cushions and seats without cushions. Good views from all seats! As for drinks there are a good array of refreshing both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Places to get beer, wine, cocktails, hard seltzers and more. Something for everyone! Good options are typical of ballparks, nothing special. Parking is for a fee at this stadium: 20-40 dollars for parking.

This venue is stunning. Officially my favorite ballpark in major or minor league baseball. The mountain views are stunning. There are plenty of places to sit stand out of the sun. The staff has been so friendly and helpful especially towards an outsider.

Chill environment Great sight lines Best deal is lawn seat and move around once in the stadium Limited draft beer Bratwurst with onions and peppers better than most baseball stadium sausage Great play areas for the kids

Booths and you guessed it! More mud
    Jessamy P.

This is based on my first visit to this venue for Panda Fest. There had been rain in the forecast for over a week, yet no precautions had been taken to prevent it from becoming a giant MUDPIT. The event was rain or shine so everyone was just putting up with it, but I couldn't stay. I had brought my 3 year old in an umbrella stroller and pushing it through inches of mud was horrible. I kept getting stuck, there were no pathways laid out anywhere and tons of puddles. Luckily (being from Seattle) I wore boots because of the weather. Most of the Arizonans were forced to PURCHASE shoe covers to try to prevent their feet from getting soaked. There was little seating and I was sweating from trying to drag the stroller through the mud. With relation the this festival, lots of vendors but paying $17 a person to get in and then every single booth Charging at least $15 for small food or drink was ridiculous. I would prefer to sample smaller amounts from more places but they dont have that option.

Took awhile to get thru once we passed the security check-in and were filtering down a few levels to get to the floor. Of course there were a ton of people and we were packed like sardines but the flow was smooth and people were patient. Once we got to our seats, we got situated and Leon Thomas was already midway as the opening act. There was a slight mixup as one chair, the "30th" seat was missing on our row and we ended up moving down one seat to our left as the group with the seating issue kept trying to figure it out. Some numbers were missing on our seats but mine was visible and we could verify where we were seated. Luckily, our seat neighbors were nice people and accommodating since there seemed to be an extra seat that was empty. When we first arrived, there were some people who sat near our seats that weren't supposed to be there but you know there's always one of those so they moved. It was fun and festive. The woman in front of us with her daughter was recording the whole time as well as the lone guy next to my cousin who was doing the same and singing to EVERY SONG, LOL!! Thankfully we never had to use the bathroom as we went during dinner right before the concert. There were Porta-Pottys on the floor level inside as your bathroom. Also, you couldn't take an actual canned drink inside. Attendants had you put them in a cup unless they weren't paying attention and you had your drink in your see-thru backpack like the guy in front of me walking in. Speaking of, you need to look at bag dimensions and restrictions prior to going to the events. I looked ahead of time and brought a clear, plastic purse within the allowed guidelines/dimensions. Acoustics were great, there was never a glitch, 2 large screens on the left and right of the stage were great for folks seated far away and were a great visual for close ups even for us. Security was effective and checkpoints at the entrances went smoothly. It was a bit crazy getting out of the stadium but we got out. Getting out of the parking lot was another story. It was a long, log-jam and some vehicles were impatient and nearly hitting other vehicles just to get in the line to get out! I think the parking guides and traffic monitors could've done better in an orderly and streamlined fashion. In any case, we had fun and luckily people inside were nice and courteous. This was my 2nd concert at this stadium and am well-pleased with the ambiance. It was just the parking lot situation that needs to be more efficient. Hopefully they worked it out the next evening since Bruno played 2 nights here.

I appreciate that the stadium is so close to the Light Rail stop, making it easy to avoid the parking issues other reviewers mention. We arrived fairly early for the ceremony, and were able to grab some solid seats in the shade. There are several concession stands and other food options surrounding the seating, and we found the prices to be pretty typical compared to other sporting venues. The concession stands were mostly well stocked ... with the exception of soft pretzels, which ran out before the ceremony began, and we were told to go check another stand after waiting in a 20 minute line. No thanks, we don't need a pretzel that badly! Entering the stadium was no problem, as there was a steady flow of folks filing in without any major slow-downs. Exiting, however, was a different story. This may just be par for the course with graduation, but the exit stairs were completely full, and felt rather unsafe. I'm not sure the best solution for this, but it's something to note, especially if you're claustrophobic.

Self-parking was $10 per car ($13 if paying by card) We've been to WestWorld for other events before, but this was our first time attending Scottsdale Art Week, and the layout inside was very well done. The booths were thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to walk through and enjoy the different galleries. As you enter, there's a bar right at the front, but staff did a great job directing guests to additional bars located throughout the space, helpful since most people naturally gravitated toward the first one. We arrived at 7pm for the 6-9pm event and headed to the VIP area for some complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Unfortunately, about half of the food options were already gone. While they continued to replenish items like meatballs and chicken egg rolls, other offerings like chips, guacamole, salsa, and additional non-meat options were not restocked at all. When I asked a staff member from M Catering, I was told they hadn't ordered more beyond what was initially put out in the first hour, which was disappointing for a VIP event still in full swing. Additionally, the upkeep in the VIP area could have been better. There were quite a few dirty plates and glasses left on high-top tables and seating areas, and it didn't seem like the catering staff was keeping up with clearing or refreshing the space. That said, the artwork itself was the highlight. The variety of galleries and pieces on display was impressive, and we really enjoyed exploring everything. We also really enjoyed the entertainment throughout the evening, and the models wearing artwork were such a unique and creative touch, it added a fun element to the event.

Most of the games have a scoreboard that will display your score and have the top scores of the all time, weekly and daily. It's fun to see your name up on the scoreboard even when your score may be pretty brutal compared to the all-time greats. The staff was very helpful in checking us in and letting us know how each game works. There's a few games that are pretty simple and others that require some setting up (like getting boots and strapped in for the skiing. I enjoyed the QB throw the most but it looked like the bouncy basketball court was the most popular while we were there. We went on the Friday night and it wasn't very crowded...only have to wait maybe 5 minutes for any activity to open up. We tried out their different sports activities to include a field goal simulation, batting cage, NFL combine relay, tennis, and even alpine skiing. Certain activities are solo but others you can compete as a team or 1 on 1. Some things to keep in mind: it's an indoor facility full of sweaty kids-so there's definitely an odor. There's a lot of items like baseball bats, baseball gloves, and helmets that everyone uses. I didn't see any hand sanitizer nor did I see employees sanitizing equipment. Some of the technology was malfunctioning and that impacted scoring, I witnessed numerous groups grow frustrated at the quarterback target practice simulation and the tennis game. There's a cafe inside and also tables to view or rest if you need a break. Looking closer at the facility I suspect they have a special area to host children's birthday parties. After the second inning, however, the section began filling up with people who appeared to be moving into upgraded seats without anyone checking tickets. People were constantly moving in and out of seats between innings, making it obvious there was little to no enforcement. If this is how seating is managed, there's really no reason to spend extra money on premium tickets. You may be better off buying the cheapest seat available and simply moving to a better section after the game starts. Unfortunately, it also seemed like many staff members were more focused on socializing and eating in the stands than monitoring seating areas or addressing the issue. Dream come true and found myself just amazed, watching the team just feet away, saw myself on the Jumbotron and later on my friends and relatives said they saw me on TV during a closeup with the ref & Suns' player, LOL!! Seats were ample and we got free Suns t-shirts which were laid out on our seat-backs. Ambiance, food, experience even the bathrooms were well-kept. Valet parking helped vs. trying to get out of a large parking lot. Stellar experience and Jasmine, our bartender!!

It was so fun and such a memorable experience. 100% recommend taking your kids to get autos, run around for pop flies and just enjoy the vibes. I wish I came here as a kid. If your thinking its going to be hot, just plan ahead with the weather and also book evening games. Scottsdale Stadium feels historic and just feels right! It felt like a true mini Giants stadium with merch stands, Giants decor, this is due to this being one of the very few stadiums that's not shared. Plenty of concessions with a variety of types of food too. The slope of grass in the back has a bunch of families set up with blankets to enjoy the game too. Overall easy to navigate!! Food was not too bad here too! They have some long hot dogs that a lot of people were getting. We got some island noodles that was okay, it was supposed to be soba noodles but it was basically just chicken chow mein. A tip for the stadium is that they have free refill stations so you can bring an empty water bottle to fill up!

It still felt like a MLB game just on a more personal level. Our tickets were in Charro Lodge at the Scottsdale Stadium. It was really easy to find where we needed to go and get lined up for food/drinks. Kids loved the Mac n cheese, Chicken tenders, fresh fruit and of course Sprite. My husband and I enjoyed Hamburgers, Fries and the drink selection. There was a lot of covered seating with umbrellas but the sun does sneak through making some spots hot to sit at. We had a pretty good view of the outfield and enjoyed watching the game. Everyone seemed really excited to be there and enjoyed mingling. Thank you, it was a great afternoon.

We hosted a surprise college graduation party for my son, and from the very first conversation, Joanne, the entire Handlebar J team, and the Herndon Brothers went to the moon and back to make sure every detail was flawless. This was not just another event for them--this was personal, and it showed in every single moment. The menu was incredible--beautifully presented, thoughtfully curated, and absolutely delicious. The service was seamless, warm, and attentive, making every guest feel genuinely cared for. But what truly set this experience apart was the emotional support and compassion they extended to everyone in attendance. This celebration held deep meaning for our family, especially for a brother who lost his little sister, and the Handlebar J team handled it with grace, sensitivity, and love. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with amazing country music, outstanding food, or a venue that will treat your private event like it's the most important one they've ever hosted, Handlebar J is the place. I cannot recommend them highly enough--contact them immediately if you're considering an event. There are two true testaments to a great business: longevity and loyalty. Handlebar J has both. There's a reason they've been here for decades and why people keep coming back--it's their passion for people, their dedication to their craft, and their genuine love for the community. In a world where so many places come and go, Handlebar J endures--and it's because of their staff, their entertainment, and the undeniable heart behind everything they do. Thank you, Handlebar J, for making a once-in-a-lifetime moment truly unforgettable.
