Straight out of 1980. We love it. Mini golf seems pricey for what you get, but batting cages are near perfect. Outside, cheap, nostalgic!

Casey's is great, we come to the cages all the time. the front desk employee (dark, curly hair, glasses) today, august 17, was absolutely terrible. I deposited our first 2 coins, both machines had no balls. I went inside to ask about it, the teenager promptly gave me 2 more coins at no cost (great start!), but then when I asked if we should wait for more balls he told me he had no idea if balls would fill the machine and there was nothing he could do. he then blamed the recent rain, and gave me a thumbs up and sarcastic smile when I told him he wasn't being helpful. so I walked outside, kicked down the 100 balls that were scattered on the turf, then walked behind the machines and cleaned up a blockade of another 100. now the machines had balls. can I get paid his hourly wage for doing his job? if I was his boss, I'd fire him on the spot for the worst customer service I've ever seen. read more

I remember this facility being in this same spot way back when I was a kid, but I had never been there before. My kids wanted to go mini golfing so when I was looking up places I remembered that this place had a mini gold course and based off the other reviews we decided to go. The mini golf course was a lot of fun for the four of us, and for the age of the facility it was surprisingly well kept up. Yes there are a few things that could be fixed such as some small fixes with some of the astro turf or replacing the wood in some spots that line the hole, they also need to repaint the signs that tell you the number of the holes are most are completely faded, but again this place is pretty old. When we went it was a nice cloudy day with a light sprinkle of rain, there weren't a ton of other players, there was a slightly large family in front of us and no one behind us so while we waited for the family in front of us to play we just replayed the hole we were at until they were done. All in all $30 for the four of us to play mini gold was worth it. They also had a good music station playing which was nice to listen to some familiar tunes while out on the course. The staff member who was there when we first arrived was helpful. Side note - They have a big sign out on the golf course facing the street stating what they have to offer, on the sign it says "Laser Tag" and their website also mentions laser tag. I didn't think they had a space big enough for that there, but my family wanted to ask and the answer was no, they don't have laser tag. The kid working the desk said "I don't know why people always ask that because we don't have that here" so note to the facility to cover that part of the sign up and take it off your website! read more

This is such a cute date spot. The Groupon deal makes this a no-brainer for going out to the batting cage and slow it down with the mini golf. It is run by a bunch of high schoolers and has a nostalgic feeling. It almost feels like your friends dad's basement. I hope this place stays open for my kids to enjoy one day. read more

I love this place! This was my first time at batting cages and it was so fun! We bought a Groupon but ended up buying extra batting tokens because you get 16 balls per token and two rounds was not enough for us. There are different pitching speeds from 40mph to 80mph and there is also a slow pitch softball cage. Mini golf was included in the Groupon. We played for about an hour and it was very challenging but so fun! I did notice it was happy hour but we only grabbed icees which were $5 each! Overall cheap and fun date! I am so impressed with this place and the staff! I needed a spot to throw my son's 7th birthday party and I wanted to do something fun, unique and affordable - jackpot! They have a lot of options for things to do for the kids, they have catering packages that you can add on and they even provide Sports equipment if you choose to add arena time to your party. Can't comment on the batting cages but my wife and I like the mini golf course despite its condition. The clubs are taped up. The greens are bumpy at times. All the signs worn. But, it's kinda fun and if you grab the Groupon deal the price is right. It's also the only mini golf course we've been to where they serve beer and wine. Casey at the Bat puts forward no pretensions. But, if you manage your expectations ahead of time, you are certain to have a good time. The fun is five stars but the upkeep pulls the rating down. When you first walk in, the main area has a few video games and novelties and the register doubles as the cafe counter. The food is surprisingly better than you would expect from a largely batting cage destination but given how poor the food at the Cardinal's football stadium is, the bar for sport destinations is forgiving. What is great, is Casey's has a liquor license and manages to stock a nice variety of craft beers and wines. So let's party!!! I would love to see more TVs, like a sports bar and the space really could stand to be spiced up a bit more. The main attraction is the batting cages. They have both hardball and softball cages at standard speed offerings. Many reviewers have criticized Casey's for having the older arm-pitch machines instead of the newer dual-spinning wheel Jugs-style machines. As a softball coach and with a daughter in Club ball, my preference is the arm machines. It throws a more reliable strike with forward spin and allows me, as a coach, to work with the hitter on stride timing and weight shifting since there is a "pitching motion" to the arm-pitch machines. Admittedly, the whole facility could use a fresh coat of paint, but the prices are absolutely affordable compared to others nearby, like Crackerjacks or the private cages. Years ago, Casey's built a roller hockey arena. I'm not sure that roller hockey still has a mass appeal. Nowadays, they have payed down AstroTurf and the arena is booked under the lights nearly every night for either indoor soccer or box lacrosse. The arena is in good shape and this is a nice use of space to make Casey's a multi sport destination. I haven't witnessed the experience, but they have signage that states you can rent the space for team-building event, dodgeball, birthday parties and laser tag games. Personally, I feel it is nice when my son has a box lacrosse practice and I can bring my daughter along to work on hitting during breaks. With regard to the arena, I would only ask Casey's to provide more shade over the bleachers for parents/spectators. Lastly, Casey's has a decent putt-putt course. Admittedly, the turf and features are showing a great deal of wear but the little kids never seem to complain. If I was the owner (and boy, would I like to acquire this property), I think I would take out the mini-golf and either put in some golf simulators or build another soccer/lacrosse arena. In all, even if it's just a date night or casual family fun, Casey's is a fun place...even if the edges have shown some wear and tear. read more

Been coming to this place since I was a kid, I'm 35 now and now bring my 15 year old son. Candidly speaking, I Love this place but it needs an influx of capital. Upper velocity machines almost always seem to be out of order and the lighting needs for night use needs some attention. Sometimes it feels like the place it put together with duct tape. The younger staff is nice but it doesn't seem they know how fix the machines and almost resort to placing the machines out of order and relying on someone else to fix it. read more

We came here on a random date night. It was near our house and there was a really good Groupon deal. When you first walk in, you'll notice that there are a few games, it looked pretty underwhelming. The checkout person was friendly and welcoming. They offer a few bites, none of which was healthy, but probably fairly appetizing. We went through the mini golf course, it took us about ~40 minutes for us to go through the course. The course itself is clearly not kept...lots of gravel was in the course, a few unkept parts where the turf was ripped up. It didn't faze us much, we still had a good time. We also got to try the batting cages....definitely not very good, but it was fun to hit...or at least try to...some balls. Seemed pretty standard with both softball and baseball, multiple speed pitches, coin operated systems. The helmets were gross, obviously not cleaned between uses, but maybe that's how it usually goes? We had a good time, so we would visit again for sure! This could be a fun date night or family outing . If you are the owners please spend some MONEY and fix the run down putt putt golf course. It will soon become a liability to you. So fix what ever is wrong with the water that should be running through the course and get rid of the sitting cesspool that will soon be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Replace the ripped AstroTurf - paint - trim back the plants - keep debris off the course (an experienced manger would do that daily) If this is your property - reinvest in your business & community. read more

Mid 20 year olds date night and we had a BLAST!!!! Pretty sure the employee thought I was stoned, LOL. Very much not- it was just our first time mini golfing and first time in years at the batting cages, felt like we didnt know what we were doing at times but the guy working was extra understanding and friendly. :) Come with no expectations and you'll leave full of memories and good times. Just have a great time, don't take anything too seriously. Places like this are a true GEM. The mini golf was so much fun! The outdated-ness and the street being right there made the golfing experience even more intense! (Trying not to hit the ball too hard) Took us a good 30 mins to complete. :) Next we did batting cages. Again, so much fun! I highly recommend bringing some batting gloves if you do the softball side, idk how the baseballs feel but hitting the softballs hurt after awhile. 2 rounds each was more than enough for us. Just finished watching a spring training game with my son and we were looking for something to do. Casey At the Bat appears to be run down, and it is, but the staff goes above and beyond with what they have. We did the batting cages and played a round of mini golf. Had to explain to my son what roller hockey was when looking at the soccer facility and the logo of the facility. Staff was super helpful and friendly. With a face lift this spot really could be a gem. read more

Casey At the Bat has always been my favorite place ever since I was young and still is! As a softball player I enjoy the batting cages and the Mudville baseball and softball training facility best. They have T's to hit balls off of and pitching mounds to practice pitching. It's a great spot for lessons. The Mini Golf Course is a classic and super fun. Casey's also has soccer, box lacrosse, kickBall, and flag football leagues. I personally enjoy the kickball best! They now serve wine and beer and build your own pizza - so cool! Had a blast playing golf. Disappointed that the staff did not wear masks while in the building. One had it under his chin, and the other when our group asked him to put on a mask said "No, I can't." This employee was also the one MAKING THE FOOD. They need to get their staff on the same rules they expect the customers to follow, since it is posted in multiple places that masks MUST be worn in the building. This place is actually incredible! People are shitting on it so hard but at the end of the day it is classic nostalgic 90's mini golf. If you're coming into this thinking it's some luxury date night, you'll be poorly disappointed. It's batting cages, putt-putt golfing, and laser tag run by teenagers...from what we saw. Most of the pitching machines threw over the plate, but for sure one did not. Be prepared to jump or hit the concrete if you accidentally put your token in that machine. I was very disappointed with the putt-putt golfing. It was very poorly lit and had a huge trip danger at the exit. The place didn't look like it had been updated in many, many years, but slapped with a coat of paint for minimal improvement. I want to start out by saying that I am not a yelper, however I know my son uses this app and I wanted to say a little something about my experience there. We had my daughters 17th birthday party there Saturday night. We had so much fun and so did all of our guests. The young men who worked there were nice, friendly and courteous. It was an awesome experience and I am going to recommend it to everyone I know that is having a birthday party. If you're in a ball-hitting mood, come to Casey at the Bat. You can hit all the balls you could possibly dream of and you can choose the speed that they're thrown at even. If you're a hockey fan, you can play roller hockey in their rink and they have video games inside. I give it only three stars because I just really don't think it's all that fun. I mean, after awhile, hitting a bunch of balls gets old, right? RIGHT? Well, it does for me. And they just haven't really kept up the place that well. It's sorta dingy.
