The inspection of the home was scheduled for one day and took three separate days, over the course of two weeks; due to not bringing the right equipment, family emergencies on his part. If you ask me an inspector should come prepared with everything he could possibly need to do an inspection. He instead did some of it and said he had to come back later on a different day to finish because he didn't bring what he needed. Then couldn't come the rescheduled day because of a family emergency. Home buying is stressful and time consuming enough. It added to the stress when we had to extend our inspection response because of his unpreparedness. If you have the time to gamble with, I would recommend indyspect. The report looked great! But if you need it done in a timely manner, I'd suggest elsewhere.

We had not seen the property in person, yet he was very honest in letting us know that the condition of the house did not warrant a full inspection, and stated that he did not want to charge us the amount of his original estimate. He did a thorough walkthrough with us by phone and clued us in on foundation cracks and moisture (potentially mold) issues that we would have otherwise been unaware of. He also provided high resolution images that helped us to see what was going on that the seller or contractors did not tell us about. Although we lost our earnest money deposit--as apparently Indiana law does not currently require sellers to be honest in their disclosures, we learned a big lesson and saved ourselves the headache of buying a house that was more of a lemon than we bargained for. We will definitely use Chris' expertise in the future and fully recommend him to the community.

A handy man went into crawl space and told me I have major foundation issues causing the house to sink under crumbling foundation. it will be $28,000 to fix the issue. when I contacted US Inspect they told me he didn't look in that area but too late we've already closed. nothing they will do to correct such blatant negligence. i trusted the inspector to check ALL the foundation the gross negligence is shocking to me. DO NOT TRUST US Inspect I now have $28,000 repair that would have ruled out this house had the inspection done what I paid for. I'm devastated at what US Inspect has done to destroy my financial future! I trusted them and they didn't see a problem a non skilled laborer pointed out. BEWARE!!!! I'm in shock and would not have believed this could happen or their response to the neglect, it was overlooked, too bad All professionals I got estimates from could not believe such an obvious problem was just overlooked and US Inspect response was you already closed we won't do anything DO NOT TRUST US Inspect!!
