This Hooters was empty when we arrived and now we know why. The good: The waitress was super sweet. The bad: Regardless of the only being one table when we arrived we were waiting about an hour for our food. When the waitress came back she said that the kitchen had lost our ticket and she needed to take our order again. We waited any another 10-15 minutes and still no food. Haven't been to Hooters in forever. The chicken was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Our waitress her name escapes me but she was extremely nice friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were disgusting. Not clean at all. There was pee all over the floor of the women's bathroom. No acknowledgement towards us and there were multiple other tables who were sitting just as long as us and about half an hour passed by and we didn't even have waters on our table. We had to walk up to someone, ask them if they could take our order, they continued to ignore us for some time before finally serving us. I went in there one night and my server Genesis was so horrible I told her no tip tonight. The bill was $400. Genesis added a $300 dollar tip to my bill, and told the new girl who she was training, " when they leave the tip blank, they do so because they want you to write in what you feel you deserve. I made $800 today doing this." I did complain to the GM Kevin Darling and to the owner Phil Moran and received no response. The service is pretty poor, today we had a waitress bring our work Happy Hour 5 plates and 7 sets of silverware for 8 people. She said let me know if you need any more, which is confusing because why wouldn't she just bring out enough for everyone? They are just so lethargic and slow here. This is the first time I have ever been to this place. I sat down and waited probably 15 mins before anyone came over to me. The girl said she was new and I totally respect that. She was doing her best to get my drink order in. No rush, another 15 mins she says the bartender is making it, I said no she is talking to some regulars and has ignored a new person at the bar. What bothered me as a business owner there seems to be a table where management and who knows who else not helping at all. This is place is my jam. The women that work here are all light-hearted, sassy, witty, and outgoing (minus a few). I love it. Whenever we go we always ask to sit with Gabi. She's hilarious and is full of life. She's also great at her job. Now for the food. The food here has never been bad. It's good food. The wings always come out perfect. We never order anything else from the menu because, well, it's Hooters! We want the fried, crispy, and saucy deliciousness! My go-to sauce is the Chipotle Honey. It's just sweet enough with a kick of the pepper. Others always do their BBQ sauce which is also good. Sometimes I'll get the Daytona sauce on the regular fried breaded wings, not grilled like they're supposed to be. I do have one gripe though. When you order the fried pickles, the plate is so big, and it only comes with one dipping sauce. If you want more they charge you for it! That's outrageous! When it finally arrived it was good the wings were crispy and hot but we were missing sauces and sides we had ordered. On top of that the waitress felt overwhelmed and even asked if we could combine all of our checks into one. WHY WOULD YOU ASK THAT! Horrible service.
