I usually avoid restaurants attached to rundown hotels, and unfortunately that's exactly what you'll find here. It's connected to an older Best Western, and that should have been my first red flag. My son wanted the Hooters experience, so we gave it a try. The moment I walked in, there was a noticeable mildew smell, like the building had water damage at some point. The entire place felt dated and looked like it hadn't been updated in over 40 years!!! The three of us shared a grilled chicken Caesar salad, wings, fries, and a burger. Everything was underwhelming. The burger comes with coleslaw instead of fries, so expect an upcharge if you want fries instead. The wing sauces and dips tasted rancid, and the grilled chicken on the Caesar salad tasted like it had been cooked long before it was served. The only highlights were the fountain sodas and our waitress, who was genuinely kind and attentive. The prices were higher than the food quality justified, and it's easy to see why the restaurant was 90% empty. Maybe Hooters was a great experience 20 years ago, but it certainly isn't now. Sadly, I do not recommend this place at all and I wish I could get my $$$ back. read more

The bad: Regardless of the only being one table when we arrived we were waiting about an hour for our food. Trying to order wings the server was kinda jaded explaining the sauces were "just there on the menu" couldn't explain anymore than that. Wings curly fries pickles were warm at SOME POINT during the day just not when i was there. Sauce was a butter like solid that had a copper kinda twang to it. Grocery store fried chicken. Went in for shrimp and a few beers. Pretty simple bill. The girl just ignored me when it was time to go. Told her I wanted a check and sat there for another 20 minutes watching her chat and clean glasses. I used to go to all the other Hooters, but they have all closed down. Now I know why. I automatically tip 25% but it goes to 10 % pretty fast as soon as I get an attitude for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I ask her why I'm being ignored and she instantly gets the manager. Haven't been to Hooters in forever. The chicken was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Our waitress her name escapes me but she was extremely nice friendly and attentive. Our wings were cooked quickly and we didn't wait too long. Definitely going to stop in again soon. The place was clean for hooters. Could use an update and remodel to modernize. No acknowledgement towards us and there were multiple other tables who were sitting just as long as us and about half an hour passed by and we didn't even have waters on our table. I went in there one night and my server Genesis was so horrible I told her no tip tonight. The bill was $400. Genesis added a $300 dollar tip to my bill, and told the new girl who she was training, " when they leave the tip blank, they do so because they want you to write in what you feel you deserve. I made $800 today doing this." I did complain to the GM Kevin Darling and to the owner Phil Moran and received no response. The service is pretty poor, today we had a waitress bring our work Happy Hour 5 plates and 7 sets of silverware for 8 people. She said let me know if you need any more, which is confusing because why wouldn't she just bring out enough for everyone? They are just so lethargic and slow here. This is place is my jam. The women that work here are all light-hearted, sassy, witty, and outgoing (minus a few). I love it. Whenever we go we always ask to sit with Gabi. She's hilarious and is full of life. She's also great at her job. Now for the food. The food here has never been bad. It's good food. The wings always come out perfect. We never order anything else from the menu because, well, it's Hooters! We want the fried, crispy, and saucy deliciousness! My go-to sauce is the Chipotle Honey. It's just sweet enough with a kick of the pepper. Others always do their BBQ sauce which is also good. Sometimes I'll get the Daytona sauce on the regular fried breaded wings, not grilled like they're supposed to be. I do have one gripe though. When you order the fried pickles, the plate is so big, and it only comes with one dipping sauce. If you want more they charge you for it! That's outrageous! So if you feel like me and my friends, make a fuss about it to your waiter or get the manager, because that's just absurd. read more

This is my 2nd visit to this location since last summer...nothing really great, when I walked in there was no greeting so I just seated myself which is what they usually tell you to do anyway.
