Tried to get into Texas Roadhouse, but the wait (and the crowd) just wasn't happening for us, so we headed over to LongHorn Steakhouse. They quoted us an hour and 45 minute wait -- way too long -- so we made a game-time decision and went to Miller's Ale House instead. Honestly? Very glad we did. We stopped by on a warmer night after a week of being snowed in, so I'm guessing they may have been caught a little off guard because they were definitely understaffed. We were quoted a 35-minute wait and ended up being seated in about 30, which was appreciated. There were quite a few empty tables, but it was clear they were trying to keep the load manageable for the kitchen. Our server Jack apologized for the backup and genuinely did his best to stay on top of things while juggling a lot of tables -- no complaints about the effort at all. We started with wings, which were solid. For entrées, we had the chicken quesadillas and the steak & shrimp combo -- both were good and hit the spot. Overall, it was a decent experience. Restaurant was clean and well kept. The only real downside was the lack of seating for people waiting -- we had to stand the entire 30 minutes, which wasn't the most comfortable. Not our first choice to eat at, but nothing around was available for less than a 45 minute wait, so we settled in this restaurant for dinner. Joshua was our server. He was not too bad, but could be more attentive. There were other wait staff that went around their tables much more often. It took 20 minutes before our appetizer, Zingers Mountain Melts, arrived. I know the restaurant was quite busy, but it should not take 20 minutes for the appetizer to show up. Then our main course arrived. I ordered the flat iron and fried shrimp. This weekend was my first time at Miller's and I don't think I'll be back. Pros: very spacious establishments with 2 separate dining area and live music. Plenty of parking. Prices are very affordable and our waiter was kind. My margarita was great. Con: Was excited to try their wings, took a bite off a drum and saw blood red inside. My wings were not cooked. Also ordered a burger and it was slightly undercook as well even though I asked for well done and it tasted like cardboard. I did not have a great food experience. My partner wanted to pay with Apple Pay and he had to get up and walk over with the server to go pay. Food was just ok, server John was friendly but they seem to have him working all tables and bar for food on a night with Football. Poorly managed and it seemed like the managers were taking his time also instead of letting him check what the patrons needed. My girlfriend and I came here on a Wednesday night, to have a meal out for dinner. We have been to Miller's Ale House before; just not this specific location. We really enjoyed this place. They have great deals and delicious food. Our waiter was very friendly and kept checking in on us, if we needed anything. We started out ordering some Wings. Wednesday night is a special for Wings, so we couldn't pass on that. The wings are very good here. We enjoyed them very much so. The bbq ones are my favorite. Then, we ordered a big red chicken sandwich and a Prime Rib sandwich, and split them between us. We were very satisfied with these choices. The Prime Rib was so good, dipped in that broth. I think this is a bar and grill chain with several locations. This one in Woodbridge is one of the few places in the area with a kitchen that's open past midnight on the weekend. They also are serviced by delivery apps. I can say their food is solid. My friend's chicken caesar salad was large but she was given grilled chicken when she requested blackened. Food was awful we went for prime rib special on Thursday none of the steaks came out correctly all 3 were close to well done. We ordered medium rare the baked potatoes we ordered came out 10 minutes after the meat and they were cold. Haven't been to Miller's alehouse in years decided to go there last night with my wife. It was a Sunday night about 8:00 PM. We went there because we remember having pork dumplings there. We order and were told due to fact that it was Sunday that the inventory was low and they didn't have any more dumplings. My wife decided to get the Cobb salad with chicken and shrimp. Waitress comes back and says they don't have any more shrimp. Still my wife said OK I'll take the chicken. I just ordered wings. Have to wait in about 25 minutes for our drink. And waiting an additional 40 minutes our food never came. I told the waitress if the food isn't on the counter then we're just gonna pay for the drink guess what she says they cooking the chicken we decided to just ask the Bill and just paid for the drinks. Came here after getting off the train at the Woodbridge station for a quick bite to eat. My boyfriend and I walked in and noticed it wasn't busy at all - maybe 8-10 tables in total. As for me, I do not drink and was there for the food. They have a special for food and it was steak and shrimp combo. I decided to order that item because who doesn't love some steak. It took a long time for my dish to come through. The server said the steak was cooked really well done and couldn't serve that to me. I appreciated that she was thoughtful and I would have sent that back. However, when it finally came out 30 minutes later since I put in the order the vegetables was uncooked. At this point I was hungry so I ate most of the rest. The steak was cooked fine since I liked it well done. Overall, the food was not that good or maybe they were having a bad day. In any case I would not come back here for the food. I'm not a drinker so I can't comment on the beer selection. Not a good experience and this place is in my town. When we arrived we parked in the parking lot and walked in. We were greeted by the hostess and sat at a booth. We were served by Karina and she was ok. She didn't seem too pleased to be working on Christmas Eve but who would lol. We looked at the menu and the prices were so reasonable for food and drinks. For drinks we both ordered the LIT and it had way too much sour mix so drank that like it was juice. I had a glass of wine to follow and it wasn't too bad. For my meal I got the Gardein veggie burger and my friend had the salmon. My burger looked decent and tasted decent. My friend's salmon looked dry but he said it was good.
