    Chicken Italiano with onion rings..
    Latoya G.

After 12 years, I have given this place another chance. I'm glad that I did! I understand that the owners and chef has changed hands since then. Came here on a Friday night, it was super packed and lively! We were seated on the enclosed patio which was cute, but a little chilly, even with the heaters running. But, it wasn't unbearable. Ashley was our friendly server. We ordered cocktails, an app, and entrees. All which were solid. I really did enjoy my martinis, both well balanced and tasty. I decided on a French martini and a cosmo. Others tried the espresso martini which they said could've been a little more creamy. The pretzel was nice. I enjoyed my chicken Italiano sandwich.. the bread was soft and the chicken was juicy. Definitely enjoyed my onion rings, they were delicious! Prices were reasonable even in this inflation ridden climate. Solid experience.

Mac and Cheese (with short rib)

This review is based on an average of several trips to this restaurant. I enjoy coming to the Grove and my husband and I love the fact that they have outdoor seating with heat lamps. The service is pretty good and food usually comes out quickly. This time I opted for the mac and cheese with short rib (a dish I have ordered a couple of times). This particular visit I found that the dish was very cheesy, to the point that it resembled a soup. This experience won't deter me from coming back, but I will likely order a boli next time as I find they are more consistent.

Brunswick Grove is a local sports bar that offers your standard American dishes and bar apps, but everything about this place is just average. The ambiance was what you would expect for a sports bar. They do have an outdoor patio where they have additional seating when it's warmer. The service was unfriendly and inattentive...the waitress that took our order seemed so disinterested to the point where I think she would rather watch paint dry. As for the food, their wings were decent, however my fish tacos did not taste like fish tacos at all. They had these weird clumps of batter in them, and it seemed like there were so many onions, tomatoes and lettuce to the point where I felt like I was just eating a salad over a tortilla. At the price point and service, there are much better options than BG.

This place is so much fun - it was busy even at 6pm! We were there from 6 to midnight and had a blast. We ordered a couple rounds of Paloma's, margs as well as the penne vodka which came with the house salad. The portions are huge so it's great especially when you're drinking

Dessert zeppole bites - 0 stars - tasted like fried leftover pizza dough

5 stars for one of the best thin, perfectly prepared pizza in the area (besides Mancini's which is obviously a pizza joint and specializes in pizza). Ordered a large white pizza with sausage and garlic and the inside was perfectly baked with ricotta cheese. Highly recommend ordering this even as a bar bite. It's sooooo good. Ordered the French dip sandwich too - was pretty solid and decent fries but nothing special. Now - the item that I would dock stars is the zeppole bites. This was ordered back in the winter of 2021. I didn't want to write a terrible review since I wanted to give them a chance with other foods. It tasted like pizza dough with powdered sugar and a side of chocolate dipping sauce. So disappointing. The upside I was there grabbing drinks and wanted to stay longer and they were more than happy to accommodate and check in from time to time. The outdoor seating area was also very roomy and comfortable and I'd recommend this spot for quick drinks or hosting an event if looking for a nice space in the local area.

We usually do our soccer team pizza parties here because it's local, inside has a huge amount of space for large groups and they have awesome seating in a closed patio area with heaters for the winter. Service is usually pretty good. I'd like to add their bar pies are delicious!

I'm always a sucker for a good dive bar. This place is definitely my vibe, no drama with great food. Service was excellent with a nice variety on the menu.

Food is not that great; beer prices are too high. French onion soup was not beefy but bland with a glob of mozzarella!

Looking for the best wings in the area? Look no further! Tap and Growler is your local corner bar…read morethat makes the best wings with the biggest variety of flavors, hands down. Always cooked crispy to perfection without having to specify, which is how it should be. No stretchy chicken skin or rubbery meat found here! Each time we visit, we get three orders of wings to split and usually another sauce or two on the side to try. We really enjoy the dry rubs and they don't skimp on the seasoning either. There's always plenty floating in the bottom of the basket for extra dipping. I couldn't go through all the wing flavors we've had since that would take quite some time, but you should definitely try the Chupacabra and squeeze the lime. The sweet potato fries with Chipotle aioli are definitely worth getting too. Just a heads up, this place can get REAL busy during peak times (ie: Friday and Saturday night), so plan your visit accordingly. There are usually 1-2 bartenders who are also acting as servers, so it may take a few extra minutes, but it is well worth the wait. Staff has always been friendly and welcoming. TLDR: Great local bar serving up the best wings in town. Give them a few extra minutes to serve you if you show up on a Friday or Saturday

You should order your food before your drinks because the food takes awhile but it is so worth it. The food comes out hot. The wings were so crispy and we had so many options for dry and wet sauces. I got the Nashville hot dry rub. They get a really good coat of seasoning in the wings but I did wish it was SPICIER given it was three flames (the highest). Looking forward to going back and trying a new sauce.
