There are two dining areas and a fascinating little store that sells tea, jewelry, designer clothes and in the hallway, beauty products (I think). Note: It is quite dark. I felt really old because I needed my phone light to read the menu, but our much younger waiter also had trouble seeing to process our credit card lol. Service was kind and professional. Tuscan food is unusual for us and we don't eat many of the ingredients, so our selections were a bit limited. Happily, we both found dishes that we enjoyed. My husband had chicken breast, which came with a salad snd sweet potato puree. The salad dressing was so light and lemony. I want to come back just for that. My white fish was Mediterranean in style and cooked in a sauce of cherry tomato, artichokes, olives and capers. It was delicious, but enough for two or three meals, so I took some home. Our meals came with herbed crisp breads and herb butter. They have a nice selection of teas and I absolutely loved the white tea with flower petals and lychee. Overall, a great find.

The beautiful space, elegant gold accents, and prohibition-era design create a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Every detail of the room is thoughtfully decorated, and sitting across from the bar was the perfect spot to watch the bartenders work their magic. The cocktails were exceptional--every drink was beautifully crafted, balanced, and memorable. My first drink, the Butter Mushroom Old Fashioned, was outstanding. Bold, smooth, rich, and incredibly well balanced. It's one of those cocktails that makes you slow down and appreciate every sip. The Mexi Thai was the biggest surprise of the night. It's bright, citrusy, and savory with flavors that reminded me of Tom Yum soup, yet it never stopped feeling like a refined, expertly crafted cocktail. Creative without being gimmicky. And then there was the Cookies & Cream cocktail. Absolutely delicious. It was so good that I could have happily ordered it all night. The service matched the quality of the drinks. Every staff member was warm, friendly, and attentive. My water was always refilled before I had to ask, and someone was always nearby when we wanted to order another cocktail without ever feeling intrusive. We intended to continue bar hopping afterward, but the drinks here were so impressive that we stayed longer than planned. If you only have time to visit one cocktail bar in Mexico City, make it Handshake Speakeasy. It's an unforgettable experience and absolutely lives up to the hype.

My highlights were the welcome of every one of their team as you walk in and the goodbye you get. I also liked that they gave you towel to wipe your hands. The drinks were a bit lackluster. They sat us at the bar in front of the mixologist so we expected to get drinks mixed right in front of us but instead we got them poured out of containers where they had already been pre-batched. Not the crafted cocktails I was looking for. The dim lighting, bubbles for birthdays and friendly service was what I loved. The drinks left me wanting more. Worth going once to see if it's your vibe.
