One of the worst experiences I've had at Hooters in a while. I usually go to the other Hooters in Metarie, so that I don't get bad service/food in the Hooters by me, but I decided to go to the one closer to me tonight and WOW, horrible service, horrible food, horrible wait times and outrageously loud music to the point where I couldn't hear someone talking to me that was 3 feet away from me. A waitress named Savannah, was cold and rude to us. She took our order and didn't bother to bring us napkins, or silverware when we got our appetizer, so I had to ask another waitress to get us some. The food was great as always and the service was great. I go to this Hooter's often and never have I had a bad visit. I have read some of the reviews and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We had our Fantasy football draft this year and it was great. The food was hot and good. The service was great and the atmosphere was awesome and the servers were very cute (not that that matters) but someone made the comment the girls were not cute, that is not true. The management does a great job at this restaurant. They are very active in the community by working golf tournaments, doing corn hole tournaments and car washes at their restaurant just to give back. Four stars on service. We went just before the evening rush. Our server, Garrinika, was an absolute delight. She was courteous, friendly, and didn't seem as if we were a hindrance to her. This is my boyfriend and I's joint! This is definitely one of my favorite places to dine in. Of all the times I've been here, I've probably only been disappointed once. Everything seems to be quite reasonable. They sell wings to seafood to salads and burgers, which is absolutely great! Personally, I think the service can be better. The hooter girls don't really acknowledge you until you try to get their attention. They're obviously more worried about kissing all the guys' asses instead. When you go to Hooters, you know basically what you're going to get. Mediocre to above mediocre food, some average ish women in uniform who act like you're a piece of meat and try to coax money out of you while offering generally subpar service. So, going into Hooters alone, I expected the usual "oh, this is a low money customer" style of treatment like I usually do. That's fine, I just wanted some Habanero BBQ Boneless Wings in the platter on a Wednesday and I'm not ordering booze. I know that I'm low revenue and I always offer to sit at the bar because what poor server wants to deal with someone they'll make less than three dollars from even if they get more than 20%? I'm greeted by easily the prettiest Hooters girl I've ever seen. Honestly, one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen (Elissa). I say "hey, I'm solo, I'll gladly sit at the bar, I know no one wants a solo table." She insists that I should take a table, it's not a problem, and seats me in her section. And then proceeds to give me the best server experience I've had as a solo diner anywhere, not just at a Hooters. Not the traditional "I will pretend to flirt with you so you give me money." She never took that approach, clearly I wanted a meal. And she delivered. When I go to restaurants, I judge a server on his/her attentiveness. This comes down to refill speed on soda, amount of times checking in to make sure everything is OK, etc. Elissa never treated me like second class even though any server knows I'm not gonna make her night. I was checked in on frequently, I never got to 1/4 of a drink without a refill. She didn't go with the super awkward "let me awkwardly flirt to make money," she went with "let me do my job in a way you will go home and write a review about." The food came out a bit lukewarm, the fries none too crispy, but the flavor was good. If food was your only metric, the kitchen needs a bit of help. If I were a local, though, I would come back time and time again as long as I was in Elissa's section. The rest of the staff seemed way, way less attentive (and way less attractive... IDK where the girls from their Facebook page are, but they sure weren't there that night). I tip 20% for excellent service. I tipped her 6 dollars on a 12 dollar ticket. Because it's nice to have a meal alone and have the server treat you from greeting to finish like you're still the most important table she's had that night. Not in the traditional Hooters flirting way, but in the genuine "I am good at my job and why should you suffer for being out of town and alone" way. I'm not sure if all the Hooters in the area have this weekday special but from 11 to 2 you can chose from 7 different sandwiches with fries for only $7! And my favorite is one of the seven. So every time I have to go to our Belle Chasse location I try to time it so I'm leaving in time for lunch. I order my buffalo chicken sandwich tossed in Hot sauce and I'm never disappointed. The guys with me have gotten anything from wings to the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. We've never had a bad meal or a bad server. The last time Summer did a good job taking care of us. Just picked up Hooters to go and it was the nastiest meal I've had in a Long time! The food took forever to get ready and the experience just got worse from there. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with tater tots and what I got looked like slop on a soggy bun with grease soaked tiny pieces of what I assume used to be tater tots. Went there last Tuesday, rather against my will, to meet up with some college buddies. This has never been the best Hooters in the area, but whatever standards of QC that the chain employs have overlooked this location that God forgot. Apparently the oil has never been changed, as I can taste what they were frying when I was in high school (which was a very long time ago, indeed). Additionally, the cooks are clearly not Southerners, as deep fat frying is in our blood. Toddlers are given a Fisher Price Food & Fooshball Deep Fryer & Crawfish Boil set when they're old enough to walk, and real Southerners instinctively know by how the oil looks and sounds (yes, sounds) when it's the proper temperature. I've never seen a table of men leave wings behind before, but these wings were Exxon Valdez oily. In a just world, Hooters Corporate Office would simply implode this location, fill the hole with concrete, pave over it for all time, and vow never to speak of it again. read more

Another chain Hooters that serves the same food we are all use to. Wings, burgers, etc etc. All the food is consistent if not better than average. What brings this place down is the sorry excuse for Hooter girls working here. The girls either don't want to work here or shouldn't be working. I have seen an 30+ year old that has seen too much sun or the girl that's too worried about talking to her friends/not wanting to work. I'm only giving this Hooters 2 stars for various reasons. Last September my army buddy got stationed down here, so we decided to make hooters our regular food and beer spot. In the beginning the waitresses were pretty friend and attentive to customer needs. But over time its decreased. They also got rid of on of their better beers. The wings are still good enough to go, if you're willing to put up with poor service. Metairie has this location beat however. read more

This was by far the most unprofessional service I've encountered. Our service was Deja. To start the waitress came and greeted us like she didn't have one care to be at work. She took our orders. The appetizer came out 4 minutes before receiving our COLD entrees. I had a coke. I asked her to refill it once after waiting 10 minutes for her to notice it was empty. She brought one back. Never once checked to see how our food turned out. She blatantly walked past us SEVERAL times and never once checked on us or our drinks. One of the times she walked past us and shouted "I AM OVER THIS" at this point we were over this whole place and our experience tonight. We couldn't get nobody's attention to help us. Instead I had to CALL THE STORE PHONE & get her to send a manager to our booth. He came and comped 1 meal (my meal being I made the complaint). For a Hooter's, this is one of the better ones. I last came here for St. Patty's day around midnight after work with my boyfriend. We had GREEN beer. Green beer always tastes better than piss-colored beer. The food is average Hooter's food. I wish I was kidding when I said I called to place an order and the server threatened to call the cops on me. I looked up "24:7 hooters" as I was craving their wings and would have been willing to drive far and their location was the first to come up. A host picked up the phone and informed me that they were closed despite the fact he picked up the phone. I said I could be there within 15 minutes but he said they weren't taking orders over the phone. I offered to come in and order as I don't understand why they are "completely closed" if someone is answering the phone and got the response of "ma'am don't make me call the police. I don't have time for this". I am severely disappointed to say the least, and will definitely be reconsidering my commitment to the Hooters franchise as a whole. I've been a loyal customer for years and am considered a regular at many local spots. Sucks the other reviewers had a bad time, i enjoyed myself and the food. I was craving some Garlic Parmesan Wings, but i found out they got rid of them and only had Spicy Garlic, good, but not the same. When first walk in they look like the typical Hooters, we sat down to a clean table, but they were spaced a little to close my wife kept getting bumped into, i would have offered to switch but then i couldn't see the Hooters ....
