Walking back from French Quarter to our hotel, we were in search of a particular bar that we never found...but what we did find was The Double Club, which was easily the absolute highlight of our entire trip to NOLA! Situated on a side street, The Double Club is a small, unassuming gem of a place that has the huge personality you'd expect from a local NOLA bar. When we stumbled upon The Double Club, the place was empty and the bartender has propped up at the bar chilling...then we walk in, 12 folks, who made this spot their home for the next few hours! The bartender was phenomenal, not only from a service perspective, but also as a mixologist! The cocktails he made were absolutely delightful, whether it was something on the menu or special request...he came through! The First Class cocktail was my favorite drink in the city, hands down! While drinks are their vibe, they also have a fairly stacked and slightly elevated food menu offering up sandwiches, burgers, tacos, fries, nachos and a few other items. We ended up grabbing a few order of the carne asada fries and hot honey cornbread. Both were delish and perfect for the night we were having! Besides the food and drink being next level, the vibes of this place are excellent. The decor, art, tinge of grunginess and heart of NOLA all add to the feeling of The Double Club, and we loved every minute and inch of the place! Overall, while NOLA can be memorable for a multitude of reasons, I am happy to say for our latest trip, The Double Club stood out as a spot we will remember, and recommend, for years!

I came here last year for a private event before they officially opened. I was happy to return a year later. The bartenders here are friendly and skilled at what they do. The craft cocktails are impressive and tasty food options are reasonably priced. The downstairs area gives off funky dive bar vibes & upstairs has a more upscale loungey feel. There's even a hidden speakeasy. I like the inviting, laid-back atmosphere and will undoubtedly return whenever I'm in town.

Cool comic book theme, dark moody bar vibe. There's good food, good drink and very friendly service

Stopped off at The Double Club for a drink and a bite to eat for lunch and had a great experience! As soon as you walk in you're greeted with neon signs, comic book pages on the walls, and a kaleidoscope of cd's and a ceiling of Nola beads and masks hanging from the ceilings. The music is a mix of modern and old classics to keep your party mode / happy vibes at attention and they have a projector that is playing either a movie or local sport events or major sports games. We ordered the Patty melt and Banh Mi quesadilla version along with some drinks of choice: flight risk and a sweet nothing. The Patty Melt had fresh veggies and juicy beef accompanied on a bed of french fries which were perfectly fried. And the Banh Mi quesadilla was nice and cheesy and had nice tender meat and a refreshing pickled slaw. The crew of mixologists here are fun to talk with and will even help you figure out a new drink for yourself if your up for letting them custom tailor a drink using your preferences of flavors and alcohols you like. It was a truly fun experience. We had a chance to speak with the owners Dom and Ciera and they gave us the full tour of their establishment. They also have an entirely exclusive party hosting area upstairs in their lounge that has more tables and chairs another bar and you can even have a look out on their balcony which overlooks Chartres St. Want to thank Dom, Cierra, James, and Gage for a truly fun and unforgettable experience! Your team, your menu, your drinks, and your venue is the real deal! Will definitely be back again next time we are back in NOLA.

This bar is my favorite gem in the whole quarter! The ambience the delicious food menu the creative cocktails and the owners are the sweetest people ever. They also have a room upstairs that you can run out for any other other events with a balcony separate bar bathrooms in a great space! This is a must see local dive bar!

This place is super fun visually but they also have a wonderful menu of drinks! We were even lucky enough to have a waiter that made a fun cocktail based on the dietary needs/ preferences for flavor in the group! Was a very cute spot and I'd reccomend checking it out!

This place is so cute !! I came to try their K Town Club and I will be back !! That sandwich was so perfect! I kicked it with the bartender there Kramer .. real cool guy ! I will most definitely be back. Also loved watching Dragon Ball Z !

Fun decor. Stickers all over the edges of the mirrors on the wall.

This was a very fun place to eat. Great music and ambiance. The decor is fun. The service was great. Raven was excellent and very friendly. She was enthusiastic as she took our orders. And the food was excellent. Very tasty. I had the roasted corn chicken sando. Very tasty and just right amount of spiciness to it. The mac and cheese was good I was in a group of 5 and we all enjoyed our food. We even got a sample of the honey cornbread and it was tasty. I'd definitely recommend this place for lunch.

Darren and Liz were honestly the best part of our experience at The Double Club. From the hospitality. To our drinks. This was the perfect way to spend our first night here in NOLA. There's even more that meets the eye. But you gotta know the right person...or the right password if you catch my drift.

The ambiance is lovely, and sitting out on their patio made for the perfect, relaxed New Orleans evening. The highlight of our round of drinks was definitely the Righteous Harlot cocktail. It comes in a beautiful flute and is a stunning bright pink color, mixed with vodka, dragon fruit cordial, St. Germain, and sparkling wine. It was incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced. We ordered a few different small plates to share around the table. The Scotch Egg was spectacular--perfectly crispy and savory on the outside with a gorgeous, rich jammy yolk inside, served right alongside house-made piccalilli relish. We also tried the Zucchini and Horseradish plate, which was incredibly unique and flavorful. It features a perfectly charred zucchini base loaded with a zesty horseradish cream and topped with beautifully shingles of crisp, fresh zucchini slices. While I didn't get a chance to snap photos of everything else we ate, every single bite was inventive, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and the bartenders really know their craft. We highly recommend dropping in for a sophisticated drink and a few excellent bites!

There is a small bar bites menu - the Cubano was tasty but a bit overpriced at $18. The service was okay.
