    Blooming onion

I normally love going to this location and frequent here pretty often. Today I decided to order pick up for the first time. The employees were great but I was highly disappointed and I got home and saw that my blooming onion came with an empty sauce cup in it. The sauce is what makes the blooming onion great. I'm so disappointed and will not be ordering pick up again.

Went during a Friday night it was packed and lively. We got seated within 10min of arrival. Our server was very friendly and personable. She took great care of us. Haven't been in years and the food was banging. The New York strip medium rare was top tier. I inhaled the seasoned rice and Mac n cheese and wondered where it went!

I came back again to Texas Roadhouse tonight and I have yet to be disappointed! They had Christmas decorations all around inside which was pretty cute. Our waitress, Miss April was very kind and attentive to us the whole time. For appetizers, we got their Cactus Blossom which is just Fried Onion Rings shaped like a cactus blossom ($7.99) and their Fried Pickles like last time ($7.99). Even though the Cactus Blossom was huge in size, we weren't big fans of it compared to their Fried Pickles. We got their Fort Worth Ribeye like last time but 16 oz instead of 14 oz with 2 sides of Buttered Corn & Loaded Mashed Potatoes ($27.99 + 1.29 for the Loaded Mashed Potatoes). Delicious! Everything was perfect like last time. We also got their 18 oz Mango Margarita with sugar on the rim ($9.25). So good! Their Tropical Breeze Mocktail ($5.00) was okay too, but it was a little sweet for our taste. Overall, Texas Roadhouse has yet to disappoint me. By far my favorite chain restaurant!

Shame on me. Once again, horrible cook. Med well equals cold rare on both steaks. Service was great on a positive note

went on a monday night. the main issue was the SERVICE. our waiter was so rude, rushed us to order, no refills. One time she walked past us and said " Do y'all need anything?" and didn't even stop to finish her sentence, and also didn't stop walking for us to answer ..? it was bad. Like why ask if you're not even gonna give us a chance to respond? the overall cleanliness of the place wasn't too bad, but we were seated next to this armadillo (pictured above) and it was so insanely dirty and filled with dust bunnies.. I know it's just Decor but honestly being seated next to something coated in such a thick layer of grime (it's worse in person) ... TRH if you see this, please dust that thing.

This is a chain, but I still love Texas Roadhouse. Last visit we downed a hurricane margarita and a Jamaican cowboy and enjoyed steak and catfish platters that were perfect for us on our date night.

A great last-minute dining option. We ended up having supper here at Texas roadhouse on a Friday night after we left a nearby carnival. This was a great time to go because there wasn't much of a wait approximately 10 minutes and our serving was incredible today I ate the Caesar salad, and the 12 ounce strip with a loaded potato everything came out fast. Everything was delicious and it was reasonably affordable for a family of three bon appétit

From the moment we arrived, the food, service, and ambiance were absolutely outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. The portions are generous one of my sisters ordered a salad that was so large she had plenty left to take home for her husband. My other sister ordered the breakfast croissant, and I had the smash burger, which practically melted in my mouth. Of course, we had to save room for dessert! We shared the vanilla bean crème brûlée and the beignet fries, and both were absolutely delicious. If you enjoy a good cocktail, you'll love their drink menu too the cocktails are amazing, and the prices are just as impressive. What really set this restaurant apart, though, was the customer service. I had a small issue with my debit card, and the owner personally called me afterward to make sure everything had been taken care of. That level of care and attention is rare and speaks volumes about how much they value their customers. Brown Butter Depot has definitely earned a spot on my list of repeat visits. If you're visiting New Orleans, don't miss this hidden gem in Gretna. I gave them five stars, but honestly, they deserve ten!

It's always nice to find a place that offers a little something different instead of the usual tourist fare. I went with the Shrimp Carbonara, and the portion size was impressive. The dish was loaded with large, juicy shrimp and packed with flavor. It was one of those meals that looks great when it arrives and somehow tastes even better once you dig in. The service was quick, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly, which was appreciated after a day of exploring. My only minor critique--and this is purely personal preference--would be that I would have preferred the shrimp tails removed. It certainly didn't take away from the meal, though. In fact, it led to one of the funniest moments of the trip when I squeezed a tail to remove it and accidentally launched it across the table toward one of my buddies. Thankfully, my aim was terrible, but the table got a good laugh out of it. Great food, generous portions, fast service, and a fun atmosphere. If you're looking for a solid meal while in New Orleans, Red Dog Diner is definitely worth a visit.

Saint Claire is a truly unique restaurant located at 1300 Richland Road in Algiers. It is…read moreimpossible to appreciate the restaurant fully without mentioning the property itself, which is arguably the older and more remarkable part of the story. The historic building sits on nearly four acres beneath a magnificent grove of live oaks. The property was originally associated with a quarantine station serving ships and crews traveling upriver toward New Orleans, and the building that now houses the restaurant was reportedly the residence of physicians connected with that facility. During World War II, the site became Camp Algiers, an internment facility. The property subsequently served various federal purposes, including use by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security, before eventually falling into disrepair and later undergoing renovation. Today, Saint Claire occupies what is believed to be the last surviving medical-officer residence of the former New Orleans quarantine station--a property that subsequently became part of a controversial World War II internment camp and has now been given a remarkable new life as one of New Orleans' most distinctive dining destinations. The setting itself is lovely, and one of the restaurant's greatest practical advantages is the remarkably easy parking, something that should never be taken for granted in New Orleans. The ambiance is warm and inviting, while the service is prompt and polished. The servers are knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly familiar with the food and its preparation. The cuisine can best be described as French country cooking with a distinctly Louisiana twist. The menu manages to combine French technique and elegance with the flavors and ingredients of South Louisiana. The duck-andouille gumbo, for example, is a particularly imaginative interpretation, made with a chocolate roux that adds an intriguing depth and complexity. The jumbo lump crab gnocchi is considerably more delicate, served with lemon butter and fresh chives, allowing the sweetness of the crab to remain the star of the dish. I am genuinely rooting for Saint Claire's success, which I judge by what I call the Triple A's of a successful restaurant: Availability, Affability, and Ability--in that order. Saint Claire unquestionably scores high on the latter two. The staff is affable and knowledgeable, and the kitchen clearly has considerable ability. My concern, however, is availability. Making a reservation can feel remarkably similar to doing business with a health insurance company. The restaurant does not answer its telephone calls, although it will apparently return a call the following day. Reservations can be made through the website, but there is an additional wrinkle: the system defaults to a reservation on the patio rather than in the main dining room. For a restaurant of this caliber, the reservation process should be as seamless and welcoming as the dining experience itself. Saint Claire has many of the ingredients necessary to become a destination restaurant. The property is extraordinary, the setting is beautiful, the service is personable and capable, and the cuisine has both character and ambition. If the restaurant can improve its availability--making it easier for guests to reach the restaurant and, more importantly, to secure a table in the main dining room--it may well have the three A's in perfect order.

The Vintage - New Orleans, LA…read more The Vintage on Magazine Street was our very first food stop in New Orleans, and it turned out to be a great way for my wife and me to start our trip. From the moment we walked in, I really liked the atmosphere. The place has a cool, relaxed New Orleans vibe with a little bit of an upscale café feel without being overly fancy. It's the kind of spot where you can come in, sit down, enjoy some good food and drinks, and just take your time. Of course, we couldn't come to New Orleans and not start things off with beignets! We decided to go with the Fancy Beignet Flight, which gave us a chance to try several different flavors. We got the raspberry, s'mores, and Chantilly. They came out looking almost too good to eat, covered in powdered sugar with all the different fillings and toppings. Almost... because we definitely ate them! They were warm, sweet, messy in the best possible way, and a fun introduction to our New Orleans food adventure. For my meal, I ordered the Italian Panini with the truffle Parmesan fries. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese, and flavor. Looking at that cross-section, they definitely weren't being stingy with the fillings! The bread was toasted nicely, and everything worked well together. The truffle fries were another highlight. They had plenty of seasoning and Parmesan and paired perfectly with the sandwich. I also grabbed a small iced mocha, which went really well with the food and especially the beignets. One thing I really enjoyed about The Vintage was the atmosphere. The interior has a lot of character, from the marble tables and vintage-style flooring to the bar and pastry display. It feels like a place that belongs on Magazine Street. It was comfortable enough that we didn't feel rushed and could just enjoy being in New Orleans together. The service was good during our visit, and everything came together for a really enjoyable first meal in the city. Our bill came to around $48 after tax and tip for the two of us, and considering we had a sandwich, upgraded fries, drinks, and the beignet flight, I thought it was a good experience for the money. Most importantly, this place gave my wife and me a great start to our New Orleans trip. When your first stop includes a loaded Italian panini, truffle Parmesan fries, iced coffee, and a whole flight of beignets, you know the trip is starting off right! Definitely a place I would visit again. Great food, great atmosphere, and a great first taste of New Orleans. 5 stars from us!

My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!
