We frequent this area a lot, most times on an empty stomach. After taking care of business in the area or running errands, we'll grab wings and sometimes an order of onion rings. It doesn't matter if we call ahead or order in person, we haven't had any issues. A favorite flavor is light mild, that way the chicken isn't soaking up all of the sauce and oil. It also keeps the chicken crispy. I miss the bigger shrimp they served years ago. My favorite on the shrimp is spicy garlic. I've been twice within the last two weeks. The first visit was bad enough. The server was rude and did not provide a refill on my lemonade. When I asked for a refill, she suggested a to-go container even though I had not finished eating. The second visit on Monday, March 16, was abysmal. The heat was not working, and it was way too cold. I called in an order for carry out. Everyone was very friendly on the phone and when I picked up my order. The restaurant was clean. I ordered a 10 piece mild boneless and a strawberry tea. The wings were honestly not good today. The second I opened the package the "sauce" spilled all over because it was so watery and it was a mess. The wings were pretty soggy tasting and one of my wings was like a darkish gray color inside. Usually I love the mild sauce but today it tasted very light and watery almost like an oil. We came here on Saturday with a party of 6. Ordered our drinks and the first three came out. Five minutes later the next drink came out. Fifteen minutes after the original order the final two drinks came out. At this point the four of us that received drinks first re ordered as we were seeing a bad trend already. Twenty minutes later we received our re ordered along with our food. The menu states the wings are tossed in the sauce. This is not the case. The sauce if you were lucky to have any was in the bottom on the plate and you had to coat them yourself. The mild and medium sauce looked like butter on my friends order. One meal was sent back as she wasn't happy as the wings were flavorless. The place was about 80 percent occupied, they should go to Countryside as the service is much better there to learn how to learn their jobs. Hostess was very rude. Mostly open tables when we asked for a table for 11 or a table for 5 and 6. She pretty much insisted we do a table of 7 and 4 and make 1 teen sit with the adults. Several orders were wrong (one led to being charged more for 2 4 piece breaded tenders instead of 1 8 piece without breading, a boneless kids wings was bone in and uneaten) with no attempt to fix the pricing or food, refills were not offered, we mentioned we had a birthday in our party and nothing was done to celebrate. We called to complain about our bloody burger. We spoke with the manager and explained that we spent $70 on our meal, and the burger, which we specifically ordered medium well, came back undercooked and bloody. We even tipped the crew $5 on top of picking up our order. We told the manager we were only asking for a credit for the burger itself, since we had toddlers at home and couldn't come back. We explained that we couldn't just run back out to replace the burger or bring it in for inspection. That was the end of the conversation--basically, they were not going to refund us or give us a credit for the burger. The ambiance was excellent. Clean, modern, quiet, etc. I really like their booths. Decent size and comfortable. Room temperature was just right. The food was OK. It used to be excellent. My favorite item on their menu is the Buffalo Shrimp. Back in the day they were huge with a batter that was not too wet. And really tasty. Now the shrimp are small and the batter is sloppy wet with the sticky buffalo sauce. Such a change over the years. 20 small shrimp cost $20. So the price is high as well. However, it was good or OK. The next visit will be something else from the menu though. I was with a friend here that I hadn't seen in 50 years. We wanted to visit for longer but we were pressured to leave. The waitress was not allowed to go home until her customers were gone. Strange rule so we left. We were there a long time though. But the place was empty and it was early in the day. And a weekday too. She got a huge tip regardless. So the ambiance was a 5, food 2 and service 4. I will be back but no time soon. read more

The Orland Park Hooters used to be 1 of the best Hooters around. It is now under staffed, you have to wait over 10 min to get a drink or order food (not bc of the servers but bc the lack of employees). The food is more expensive but the servings and service has declined. The shrimp are mini, the servings are small. I paid over $11 for 7 small shrimp. To go orders beware!!!!!! This place is ok if you're dining in but if you're getting delivery you might as well expect everything to be wrong. This isn't the first time I ordered delivery and gotten it screwed up from this location. This is the third time along with the fourth time because they screwed up the same order twice! Ordered through uber, got my delivery and noticed the bag was very light. Opened the bag and sure enough I only got ONE item out of the FIVE items I ordered. Uber then messed up and gave me only enough money to cover one of the 4 items I didn't receive. I then called Hooters, waited 10 minutes for a manager then the manager said she would refill the entire order if I order something again through uber. I gave her the entire order and she promised she would get the items herself and bag the entire order herself. Got the order and everything was incorrect except for the fries and cheese. You can't make this stuff up, LOL. I've eaten at this location a few times and they're usually good about the food but take a long time to serve drinks even when it's not busy but they just can't seem to get a delivery order correct to save their lives. Iris was killing it with service but meanwhile I ordered another alcoholic beverage and the bartender clearly made it a point to "huff and puff" to the point I, as a patron heard and looked and her then 15 min my drink came. This place is 100% racist towards caucasians!!!!! I went to dine in last Saturday night and it wasn't too crowded. I have been going to this location over 20 years since I was a child. And the parking lot on Saturday nights would be packed because it was so busy inside! Well last Saturday we park and the parking lot is no where near full so me and the person I was with knew it wouldn't be crowded and we would get in right away. We walk in and we tell the host table for 2. The African American hostess looks at us with an attitude and says "well unless you want to sit at the bar it's going to be an hour wait." An hour?! There was clearly nobody else waiting and wasn't even crowded in there. So we just go to find a seat at the bar. The bar was full, but as we were walking around the bar, we saw multiple empty clean tables open. Not just one, I'm talking at least 5 tables open just in the bar area alone. So we go back to the host stand. As we are walking back up there some African American customers come in and they are seated RIGHT AWAY. There are 3 African American employees now at the host stand so we tell them there are multiple empty tables in the bar area. One employee said "well those are reserved." And another one gave a different excuse and said "well those have to be cleaned." Well they were clean. And even if they did have to be cleaned, it wouldn't take an hour!!!! So we just left and went elsewhere. I am so disgusted at what this place has turned into. Like I said I have been going here for over 20 years and used to have great experiences with great service. Tried to go to this location at 3:30 PM on a Sunday. Half of the restaurant was empty, but there was still a 40 minute wait. My wife and I walked out, as did another couple behind us. I'm not a business expert, but I feel like if the owner of this location put a little more effort into hiring and/or paying its employees better, they wouldn't be losing business. The fried pickles were amazing! They were super thin and crispy. We had a group of 6 last night (3/29) with reservations for 6:45. What a disaster! First I check into the host to stand, she brings me to our table immediately, only to find out that a different server was seating people when we were walking up (how that's possible since the hostess is the one seating people ). Obviously, if it was our table, they should've moved that other party that they were sitting at the wrong table. Instead of doing that, then we were made to wait for another table. There were tables available, but needed to be cleaned. The hostess then walked back up to the hostess stand without telling anybody to clear the table. I then 14 minutes later had to ask if somebody can just clear off the table she suggested we would sit at so we can sit down. She said she would check on it but then didn't. My party and I walked over to ask a waitress to clear off the table so we could sit there. We then did so. I let the hostess know we sat ourselves at the 2nd table she promised. Our server came over and we all ordered a drink. Four of the six of us got our drinks within about five minutes, which was pretty long considering it was just a beer. The other two waited roughly 15 minutes to 20 minutes for their drinks ( 1 of us even went to the bar ourselves to look for the 2 missing drinks, while 3 bartenders were socializing with each other).We asked several times about it and the response we got from our server was that she can't go back behind the bar and make it. While we did not ask her to go behind the bar. Realistically, she needed to go to the bartenders and tell them that we are still waiting for two of the six of my drinks. By the time they got theirs, we were ordering our second one. The majority of our group had wings of different flavors. Four of six of us had 0 flavor, no matter what flavor we chose. Some got more sauce and all it was was glorified butter or oil with no flavor. One person sent their wings back because we waited so long for the 2nd sauce that now the wings were to cold anyway to really add to it they felt (not the same if it's not tossed in there when it's warm) so they no longer wanted theirs at all. 1 person had medium wings, then asked for hot sauce since there was no flavor to try and give it flavor. There was still no flavor so he had to sauce even on the table and mix that in. Ending up with three different sauces and still no flavor. We asked for our check and was going to talk to a manager. The check was wrong for two of the three couples. After waiting this long and now having to exit so we can go somewhere else, it was not in any of us to talk to the manager at that time. We had already waited too long for every single thing. While it may have been busy, you ask for help. Another table close by had other people bringing their food to them and not their server so the same could've been done with us. Our server Mia was nice, but extremely overwhelmed and poorly trained. Especially when the manager then was notified that somebody was sending their food back because of whatever the waitress ended up telling him, you would also think management would've come to the table to see what was going on anyway is good practice. Horrible experience. We Arrived at 730. At 905 we still didn't get any food. We had to leave for a 920 movie. It was busy, but this was staffing. There had to be 25-30 plates of food waiting to be picked up, but they were just sitting there. One lady was so irate at the long wait, the police were called to remove her. Not true, we we're sat in less than 30 minutes. Like always they say more time of wait like if they don't want you to stay and want your business. E waited 30 minutes for our server Anaya to tell us she didn't have blue moon beer , so we took stella instead and also waited another 20 minutes for that pitcher.
