This review is for the bar area only on 4/3 at 12:00. The gaming is what it is. Bar service is subpar. Bartender was unfriendly, quiet, and not appreciative. Simple order of a root beer, Pacifico and a Bloody Mary. Ordering from her was making her life difficult. The Bloody was sad. The rim was only covered in salt about a quarter of an inch. Watching her make it like that made me think it was too difficult a task. No garnish whatsoever. And it was room temp because she did not even shake it. Made a quick trip with the family! I had the Fish and chips. It was so crispy. You get three medium pieces and lots of seasoned fries. They serve it with delicious sauce on the side. Bottomless Dr Pepper to complement the meal!!!! This is a game venue so it's a little on the loud side but not ridiculous where you can't hold a conversation. Came here for a surprise date night for I have never been to D&B. I did the eat & play combo for 200 credits and I ordered the chicken off of that menu. My husband ordered the bbq chicken flatbread from the regular entrees menu. The server was very informative and suggested what would give us a bang for our buck! She was very helpful. We ordered the nachos for an entree at first and the chips were stale! We sent it back and substituted T for the loaded fries not knowing we would have to pay extra for the chicken but that's okay. Overall the food and drinks were delicious! I had a great time being a big kid in the gaming area. I loved that most games were competitive games for 2 or more! I will come back again! The server was very nice and very attentive even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant for lunch. Expensive for two lunches and one beer and they try to really up charge the gaming. I think I got the 30$ package maybe I think for gaming and we went after eating and lost interest in the games very fast. None very interesting nor super fun. Didn't even use all my credits the time we went. The food wasn't awful, just a little dry. Needs some updating on food and games I'd say. read more

We came on a Saturday evening, which was super busy with kids and families. The new renovations are nice, and they got new games as well. Drink and food Menu items have also been changed, but a lot of the items are the same. Hubby and I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich w/ fries. It was crispy, not greasy, on a soft potato bun. Hello, I am writing to formally report a very disappointing and upsetting experience my family and I had at the Dave & Buster's in Orland Park, Illinois on March 5, 2026. We were there celebrating my son's 8th birthday with a group of 15 family members. Unfortunately, the service throughout the evening was extremely poor. Our food was brought out at completely different times, approximately 10-15 minutes apart, which meant many people in our party were eating while others were still waiting for their meals. My son, whose birthday we were celebrating, ordered a burger and ended up being one of the last people to receive his food. He became very upset and cried while watching everyone else eat before him, which was very disappointing on what was supposed to be a special day for him. In addition, I ordered 20 chicken wings but only received 15. When I brought this to the server's attention, she took the plate back to the kitchen to "show the cook," but then returned the same cold food with an excessive amount of hot sauce poured over the wings, which appeared to be an attempt to cover up the issue rather than correct it. Our server's name was Destiny, and our receipts were check numbers 109497 and 109432, totaling $701.45. Spending that amount of money for such poor service, especially during a child's birthday celebration, was extremely disappointing. To make matters even worse, when we were leaving the building with several small children, there was an active police situation directly in front of the entrance where officers had their guns drawn on suspects. Our family, including the children, had to run for safety, which created a frightening and chaotic situation. I called the following day to speak with a manager named Kyle regarding this experience. Unfortunately, I was told that the only thing he could offer was an apology. Given everything that occurred that evening, that response felt dismissive and inadequate considering the amount of money spent and the impact it had on my son's birthday celebration. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed by corporate management. I am hoping for a more appropriate resolution to this situation. read more

I was here today for a holiday party that lunch was provided for. And was out of the game floor with a power up card. Think of this place being the adult version of Chuck E Cheese, anyone under 18 years of age has to be accompanied by an adult. And if you do well enough on the games, and you play with a power up card, that depending on well you do you can tickets can be added on your power up card. And they have a store that you can get prizes for the amount of tickets that you have, but you have to have a whole lot of tickets to afford a lot of the prize, so you have to either go there a lot, or put a lot of money on if to get enough tickets on it to be able to cash them in. read more

We went to Dave and Busters for a birthday party. It was a good experience! The facility is large with ample parking. It's a bit away from the mall which alleviates some of the usual congestion over that way. It was very clean and there was room to move about. We didn't check out the large dining room and bar because we were in the Chicago party room, but they appeared open and spacious. The party room was smaller but adequate. Kids don't stick around long to eat because they'd rather be in the arcade. The party food was okay for kids, a buffet that consisted of chicken nuggets, slices of pizza, mini burgers and fries. It was served hot and replenished. Staff was helpful. The arcade is pretty great. More updated than what I expected. Lots of options for different interests and skill sets. We did pretty well overall and the kiddo got to make several selections from the arcade reward store. The redemption store has a lot to choose from and the points cards never expire. Overall a good experience and we'd try it again. read more

I used to enjoy going to this location. Over the past few years it seems to have really gotten bad though. Terrible service and watery drinks isn't even the worst part. The amount of games that are either broken or missing the items used to throw because they are stuffed in another game or just nowhere to be found. I understand bringing children here to play but if you can't parent them or stop them from quite literally breaking a game maybe they should stay home. This place used to be fun to go have a drink and play some games now it's just a disappointment. Reminds me of the Addison location once was great and slowly turned to sh*t. The quantity of arcade games was less than I was expecting (and that is based on other locations I've seen; just felt small.) But everything worked and was well maintained. The greeting at the door was nice and friendly..but then we sat down to eat and our waitress acted like we intruded on her "me time!" Wish I could remember her name but she rolled her eyes at every question we asked about the meal deals and seemed really annoyed with our 3 kids who we treated to a spring break/birthday fun-day. When food came, I was handed a cheeseburger with the cheese scraped off the bun (yep- I actually ordered a hamburger) and Ms Busy waitress never came back to the table to see if we needed anything until it was time to pay the bill and get her tip. My suggestion- eat before you go. Anyway- the place was clean but not all games worked so we lost a lot of playing coins on our cards- no one visible to help with that so we just let it go. The clerk in the toy/check out area was phenomenal- having patience and even laughing with the kids and helped to pick out their prizes. I had a time here today! I brought my son out for a day of fun. I can see now why this place is also an adult arcade. Lol I had such a good time letting the inner kid in me out. They had a really vast amount of game selections. There was even a virtual reality game. The establishment was clean and very upbeat. Although, I do wish they would practice sanitizing equipment after each use. The food was good and had a decent variety to choose from. I had the expresso Kahula drink, which I didn't enjoy. I sent the expresso back. Robert, the manager, took the time to bring me hot coffee himself. My waiter Jeff was patient and understanding, pretty humorous too. I even let the photographer sucker me out of $20 for a photo I could've snapped with my phone . All and all, my son and I had a good time at Dave & Busters. read more

I was wrongfully accused of cheating after giving my card to the cashier. If you want to accuse me of cheating maybe check your machines for glitches because the goldfish game gave me 1000 tickets after i didn't get any balls in. I am furious that the other cashier told me with attitude that he "didnt catch" me this time. First of all, I never cheated. Second of all, the other cashier told me that, and left without letting me respond. After this, I decided to confront the cashier but after he saw me, he left to a different cashier and I had to talk to another cashier. I took my niece and nephew here to have a good time. They've never been before so I was excited to take them. We arrived around 12:30 and it was fairly empty so that was cool. I purchased their cards and let them have at it. After they played a couple of games they noticed that the games weren't issuing tickets. I flagged down a worker to inform him of this, his name was Tom, and he went to speak to the manager. After some back and forth I found out their cards were somehow wrapped up in a promotion for spring breakers where they will be allowed to play unlimited games with no tickets issued. Of course this isn't what we wanted so they issued us new cards. I'm mainly writing this review to shout out Tom. He was so incredibly patient, kind, and apologetic. I couldn't even be upset because his whole demeanor was so pleasant and willing to help. I really appreciate him quickly addressing our issues! Please hire more people like him. I booked a private room for my daughters birthday. The room was set up everything was clean. There was an issue with the TV as far as getting it to work which took them about an hour to get together. But they did make all efforts and even open the room next-door and move the separation wall so we can watch the projector screen in the next room while they got it together. The server was great everything went very smoothly. The food was OK but I wasn't expecting a five-star restaurant and the food was for kids but the chicken tenders were hard and the macaroni was kind of dry. If zero stars could be given to a business, this Dave and Busters would win that trophy. I cannot stress how bad of an experience we had at the Roseland location on 11/20/21. I am not above giving credit where credit is due.... My husband and kids had fun playing video games. They did! We also paid 100 dollars for about an hour of video games. That is not my complaint however. We put our name in dinner reservations, we were told the wait was 1-1/2 hours. We were ok with that. Even a little longer would have been fine. At 2 1/2 hours I checked in, I was told not much longer. My little one was asleep, and there was not a single place to sit down that was not a reserved seat. Not one seat anywhere. Not because they were full, because there was none! You may be asking why we waited? Answer is, after 2 hrs, why would we not wait "not much longer?" 3 hrs and 42 minutes, I went to the podium and firmly let them know how ridiculous this wait was. We were finally seated. Now for the icing on the cake! Our waiter walks over and lets us know we can order our food online in the app. We just waited 3 hrs and 42 minutes to be told we can order our food online, we don't even have a freakin waitress?? Nope. We got a passive guy who said " can you do me a favor and order a water online so I can see your orders in the back. Not, hi welcome to D&Bs. Nope, just order water. Never ever will I return to this place. Absolutely ruined an otherwise fun night by the worst service I have encountered. read more

Came here with some of my couple friends and had ourselves a triple date here at Dave and Busters. One of our friends already held down a table before my date and I got there. For starters we ordered a shot of tequila (1800). I ordered the truffle fries, my bf ordered some wings, our friends ordered a chicken sandwich and the smokehouse BBQ ribs. Our food was good, no complaints. The cocktails we ordered like an old fashioned, a mojito and a margarita were pretty good too and I like that we could bring our drinks to where the games were. Our waiter Jeff was exceptional and made our dining experience a ton of fun with his awesome personality. He made sure ours needs were taken care of and that our food and drinks came out in a timely manner as well. My bf bought our game card with about 500 points for around $60 I believe. Although we were using the games for around 2 hours we barely made a dent on our card. Lol so we definitely want to come back and use up our points and buy something cool. I believe you can also use points towards dining so that is a nice option to have. Overall we had a really great time on our triple date and thought that Dave & Busters had a good amount of games to play. Some of my favorites were Dance Dance Revolution, Hungry Hippo, Space Invaders, and air hockey. My only suggestion is to give the bathroom sanitation more attention. It is easy for the floor to get messy with napkins or toilet paper as children and teens often frequent here. It'd be nice for customers to have a clean bathroom to walk into. read more

First time, son wanted to go. So we went on Friday 1 pm. Son really liked the arcade. I went over to the restaurant area and ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was pretty good, the fries were - meh. Son had the pizza, and really liked it. The music is too loud - although I liked a lot of the songs. As far as the games there was a decent selection, but not quite what I was looking for. I also like that there were free refills on pop. We spent a ton of money, but it was a good time, and it was not too crowded. I can tell you that the Buffalo wings were outstanding; I am dying for some more of them right now. The games were fun and the kids enjoyed them. They actually won a bunch of tickets and got some pretty great prizes. I know it's their thing, but the screens with sports made me feel like I was in a dystopian novel, being entertained to death. It was 12 noon on a weekday over Christmas break, so there were no games on, just highlight reels of the NBA, and that was torture. I gotta say that the bathrooms--or the people using them--were pretty gross, and the wait to get a table bordered on being frustrating long. Other than that, it was fun for all of us.
