Went in last night to watch some of the basketball games! They weren't very busy, so I was seated right away. I will say compared to other Hooters the draft beer selection isn't that many beers. Dysnee was my super waitress last night. She was very friendly, attentive and helpful. I settled on a salad, with spicy garlic chicken in it. I got an email that Hooters was doing the endless wings promotion for $15.99 last weekend. My fiance and I both love Hooters wings! Their breaded wings are our favorite! We went to the Topeka location because it's the closest to Lawrence. We were seated immediately and our waitress was attentive and made sure our water was always full. We both only ended up ordering 20 wings each, so we didn't save that much money. The regular cost of 20 wings is just under $17. But we had great service and great food! read more

When you get off of the interstate in small-town Middle America and are looking for a fun change-up to your long commute, the Topeka Hooters is a great choice! The restaurant itself is very large, incredibly clean and has a great selection of both televisions and staff members to look at! In comparison of other Hooters I've been, this is certainly a very nice one. Located between the two Kansas colleges is ideal for staff selections and a lack of comparable sports bars options makes this Hooters and their wings the place to be in Topeka, KS. Ok so this was my first ever Hooters visit and I have to say I wad pretty impressed. I went with my boyfriend and some friends to watch the UFC fights and almost every tv had it on! It was pretty loud but I expected that. The waitresses were.... Eh. However, our waitress was horrible. She paid more attention to her friends (who were waitresses) then to us. She got my boyfriend's order wrong and got mad at me for not knowing right away what sauce I wanted. The interior here is pretty nice but their stools are pretty uncomfortable! Welp, although I'm not one that typically visits a restaurant for the view, I did this evening. Actually it was just for the food, but it was funnier to say for the view, wasn't it? It had seriously been probably ten years since I've been to any Hooters before today. But a co-worker had me try some of his wings on lunch, and I was blown away. So I picked up wings, chicken strips and Lots o Tots on the way home for dinner for the family. Everything was delicious. My only complaint was that the fries were pretty limp, but they still tasted good. I also got their cheese dip instead of ranch and whew, was that tasty! I'll for sure be coming back for take out in the future! Also, staff was all nice. But that's probably mandatory with the major cleavage and look-at-my-butt-shorts :) read more

1star only because that was the only way to post a review. I can only speak to this location & each time the only good thing about my time there was being with my family. But last night takes the cake. Note, never go to this place by choice. Yes I get that this is "hooters" but this is a place people bring their families. (Not my choice). Our server took "hooters" to a new level. First thing I did was let her know (discreetly) that I had grandchildren with us so she needed to adjust her top because she was too exposed & that her bra was also exposed. When I say exposed I want to clarify that I'm talking about a DD girl & the part under your arms going around the ribs including part of the cup were clearly showing. That was just the top. Her shorts were too small cut up like a skimpy swim suit bottom. I found the evening offensive. The other servers seemed to have uniforms that fit them appropriately. So apparently the manager didn't have a problem with a pair of DD's being squeezed into a size small. It is apparent that many young parents think it's funny. But for those who are like me that think women being paid to wear skimpy revealing clothes to promote anything is degrading to women & sends a wrong message to our kids, then this Hooters is not the place to take your kids. read more

Went to Hooters today with wife and father in law and moments after getting our food we were demanded to leave by the manager and if not the cops were to be called due to a sexual harassment which wasn't true. Considering we acted the same way as previous visits. read more

I ordered 2 salads for delivery at 5:55pm. We are staying in a hotel close to the restaurant and delivery said it would be delivered at 6:22. 6:45 comes around and the delivery tracking says it is still waiting for a playmates person to pick it up from the store. I call the store and ask them if they know what's going on. A guy gets on the phone and basically tells me it is Postmate's fault and to contact them. There is "nothing they can do and it is out of their hands". He says, "good luck trying to get a hold of them. Every time I try I get put on hold for a LONG time." Seriously? If they are such a terrible service, why use them? And to have that type of attitude and response is uncalled for. Eventually our salads showed up but I will never order from this particular Hooters again because of the customer service. read more

The Topeka Hooters needs a lot of work. If you love their food, make sure you hit them up at a time when they aren't busy, because they struggle when they are at more than 50% occupied in my experience. At any cost avoid fight nights, unless you are just a glutton for punishment. I have attempted to watch the fights at Hooters in Topeka several times and it has never fared well. Much of this is caused by the lack of professionalism by the Hooters girls. Last night, we arrived when there was a list. Because it was a fight night, people are slow to leave and I understand that. We were the fourth table on the list. 8 tables were sat before we got a table. We were standing very close to the hostess stand, so it was easy to see what was happening. Several times a group of guys would come in and be told by the hostess that they had a wait. The guys would get the attention of one of the waitresses then have a quick conversation with the waitress. The waitress would then go to the hostess, and the group of guys would end up being sat in front of us. At least one time, the waitress was romantically involved with a guy on a group that was sat before us. That particular group was two guys who spent more time outside than they did at their table. After seeing their table abandoned for 20 minutes, we asked about them. The hostess said they were outside. About 10 minutes later, the came back in, paid their check and left. Several times I watched customers go to the bar to order drinks when they had a table. The problem was that several girls were sitting with tables and visiting instead of taking care of their other tables. I understand this is a common practice when the restaurant is slow, but on fight night? I don't get that at all. Finally, one of the only things I love about the Topeka Hooters is that the girls come in all shapes and sizes. They represent a realistic sampling of real women. That being said, they do not wear their uniforms by the general company standard. Somehow the majority of the girls at this location where their shorts like French bikinis, instead of the way the way the shorts are supposed to be worn. Look at the calendar and the example that the best of the best set. Yes, the shorts are crazy short, but they aren't pulled up their butts so that they look like a swimsuit. Yes, there should be some cheekiness, but their whole butt shouldn't be exposed. Several of the girls at the Topeka location have a very warped view of what sexy is. Sexy is not support panty hose with orange shorts wedges up your butt. read more

bad , just bad i arrived about 3 o'clock and waited about 8 minutes for finally making a soda pop order and got a menu finding it my self and it was filthy dirty and greasy there was me and one couple i the whole place and 9 or more waitresses ,i waited and waited to make a food order , in fact one waitress left to get another waitress cigarettes and came back and gave them to her all the while i waited being ignored . it's no wonder why the place was so empty , the service was just terrible , no concern for customers or tidy tables and menus . let's just say i was pissed about the place it truly sucked read more

First time at Hooters. Food was pathetic and tasteless. They didnt even try to make it good. But the place was very clean. That surprised me. The girls all had major cleavage and there shorts were tailored to show about 1/6 of the rear end. Every one was a custom fit. They must like the attention like a cheerleader does but it must wear on them every night. Every guy stares at their boobs. About 4 girls just stood around the doorway laughing and I realized that they were being defensive. Like in a huddle.And making a living. The guy who started this chain has to be a ..... I wonder how many of the girls he has had .In this day when there are so many places trying to do good food, dont waste a minute here in this bizarre playhouse. Well went to Topeka to support my wife during her test today, which they screwed up and have to take another day now. She dropped me off at Hooters so I could drink and wait for her since I cant be with her during testing, and tried to get a pitcher of beer....well let me tell you what....even though I would be there for 3 hours or so....they said I couldn't have a pitcher since I was drinking alone...even though I wasnt driving. My wife even told them that she was driving and just dropping me off while she went and tested but would be back to grab something to eat and pick me up. They said they would ask their manager...well....a manager who is way younger than me still said no and that they would have to "monitor me" while I sat there drinkinging and eating shrimp waiting on her. What the hell is going on in with these places when someone cant order a pitcher of beer because they wont let them drink alone even when they are there for almost 4 hours....and then to have someone younger then them say they have to monitor me while I drink???... Fuck going back to Hooters in Topeka anymore. Will find someplace else that actually wants business. read more

Before anyone gets their panties all in a bunch about me rating Hooters as 4 stars, let me explain. When I rate stuff, I rate it against all other things in it's category. Not against ALL other places. I wouldn't rate my favorite fast food against the best restaurant I've ever been to. Soooooo, that said, Hooters of Topeka like many other establishments that fit it's category has the same problems I've seen in others. It's very hard to keep a good core of hard-working waitresses. That said, they have done a decent job of keeping a few hard workers through the turmoil. The guys in the kitchen can do some amazing things with a pretty standard menu. And the managers are generally concerned about creating a good fun atmosphere. Once the GM returns from maternity leave, I think things will get even better. The girls here, like I said before, come and go. Right now I think they have a good crew. Many of them are new, but make a good effort at learning the trade and if they stay, it will only get better with time. If you are one of those people who gets angry at the site of a Hooters girl, get over yourself. Yes, they wear tight t-shirts and short orange shorts. So what? I've been to fine-dining establishments where the waitresses wore short black skirts a black bow-tie and a white shirt thin enough to let you read the label on the poor girl's bra. Anyway, the girls are nice, keep your beer full and spend a good amount of time talking to each customer. That's what people want at any restaurant. But getting past the girls, the food there is a little above average for a Hooters. The guys in the kitchen are a great bunch that will do their best to accommodate almost any request within reason. I really enjoy my wings with both lemon-pepper and hot. Simply delicious. If you're not into wings, try the buffalo chicken sandwich with bacon and provolone. In the realm of burgers, you can't fail with the Western Burger. They serve it with onion tanglers, cheese and barbecue sauce. In the summertime, I enjoy the snow crab legs. They are delicious at a very reasonable price. Alcohol is reasonable and even well priced depending on your taste. Just the selection of margaritas is pretty impressive. I usually stick with a 25 oz "Big Daddy" Bud Light or Blue Moon. Desserts are pretty good. I like the Key Lime Pie in the summer and the Chocolate Cake in the winter. The one thing I wish they'd change at Hooters are the fries. They just don't impress me. On the flip side of that, their fried pickles blow Buffalo Wild Wing's out of the water. All in all, Hooters of Topeka is blessed with a small army of regulars who range in age from kids who's parents take them there after Little League, to old retired military guys and everyone in between. On 06/10/18, I encouraged my husband to stop. He had never eaten here before. Not at all what he expected. Our server, Kierra, was AWESOME! She treated us as guests, that she'd never met. She did not assume we were a couple, when asking about the check. She brought us drink refills, before we could stop her. She brought us extra napkins (we were impressed with your name written on the top one, because no one can remember your name even though you were wearing a name tag ). We travel and eat out frequently. What a breath of fresh air. A server who actually did an EXCEPTIONAL job. This is what we tip off of. And you deserved every penny (plus more)! Your service was better than our food, and it was EXCELLENT! Only one suggestion Kierra. You would have gotten a bigger tip, had you brought us back more bills. Never give back a $20 bill and some ones. Break that $20 up into a $10, $5, and 5 -$1. You would definitely gotten the $10, instead of the $5 he had to get out of his billfold. read more

We went there on a Friday evening and it wasn't even busy. Took over fifteen minutes for them to seat us, just because a host wasn't at the host stand.
