Date Night Fail. I've been holding space with this for a min thinking I'd just forget it. Maybe it was an off day but I feel weird about the experience AND my GF was pissed from the start. It just makes Longhorn's a NO GO ZONE. Food? Fine. Long wait? Fine it's a steakhouse. No drinks before appetizers? I'm not fussed I make mistakes too. I would not care if that was it, I'm with good company so extra time is fine. If I'm gonna complain about the food I'd just stay home and shut up. General service issues? NP. Now why 1 star??? I'm an ok looking guy but the waitress MADISON was throwing MAJOR vibes like she was trying. Super Friendly with me, totally RUDE to my GF. Between literally rolling her eyes and looking at me like WTF when my girl asked about a special request on the steakbutter. I thought I was getting punkd at first it was that OVERT! She was 'checking on me' (still waiting on those drinks) when my GF went to restroom and ONLY THANKED ME when she brought the check. I WAS a semi-regular for myself and work. But now? The steak ain't worth that behavior on date nights and it's dangerous for business lunches. Now weeks later I just altered my team's cocktails and dinner celebration to avoid that Longhorn's feeling. This was my first visit to LongHorn in a couple years, and I was looking forward to a good steak and meal. I could not have been more disappointed. The service was good, my waitress attentive and friendly, however the food was horrible. One of the worst steaks I have ever been served. Out of the 12 oz ribeye, there was only around 7 oz of it that was edible, the rest was fat and gristle. It was rubbery and a extremely poor cut of meat. I ordered the loaded baked potato as a side and was told they were " out of potatoes". The sweet potato I ordered instead was mushy and cold. All in all the only positive thing I can say is that the waitress was polite and nice, she seemed apologetic about the food, I wont be returning anytime soon and could not recommend it to anyone. read more

I ordered take out as I wanted to chill/relax at home but wanted a good steak. I ordered through the Longhorn App, which my estimated time for my meal was 20 minutes. I ordered Flo's Filet, Steamed Broccoli, and a Loaded Baked Potato. My meal also came with a small loaf of bread. I picked up my meal curbside, the Restaurant was busy as there was a wait-people waiting outside. I called to let them know that I had arrived and a nice worker arrived with my meal within a few minutes. She kindly told me that they were out of Horseradish Sauce and apologized. I took off with my meal when I received a call from LH, the lady stated that she had given me the wrong order-which she apologized for. I had to turn back around, I pulled up to the door and the LH worker met me and gave me my food and told me I could keep the other(it was 2 Baked Potatoes). We only had our steak knives to spread the butter. I asked for red onion chopped up on my salad,instead got white onion rings,that ruined the whole salad. The main course came out before not even close to halfway through with the salad. The appetizer came out when we were almost done with our meal. It did not look appetizing at all. It was like they just threw it together and could've cared less about presentation. Didn't even try one. They said we could take it home and I said absolutely not. And then the waiter came back said the manager said that we did not have to pay for the appetizer. I said well no kidding. Spent good money on a terrible meal. This is my favorite steakhouse in the area. No loud music or dancing next to me. Just quiet 'classy cowboy ' and the best food! Parmesan crusted chicken is the stuff of legends. I struggle every time because the rib-eye is always so good here, cooked perfectly - but the chicken calls to me. Yum! On a keto diet, this place lets me so happy! I do love the crusty warm bread! We had family in town and knew we needed some food that would appeal to all 8 of us. Pretty much every time we visit this location, we leave satisfied. It's mostly clean and welcoming no matter when we're there. We ordered appetizers and while we waited, our younger two kids started to get antsy waiting for their food (it wasn't an unreasonable wait, but it was somewhat busy) The food was good, (I had the salmon, which is almost always a winning choice for me) but the main reason I'm reviewing is to point out how accommodating one of the employees (possibly the manager?) was when he noticed our kids getting hungry. He brought out two little play dough type activities for them to play with while we waited. This was extremely helpful for both of the kids, and for the grownups who were trying to keep them busy! I know if we're trying to choose between restaurants in the future, this kindness will influence my decision and we'll likely head to Longhorn again! read more

I have to do a comparison when eating at a steakhouse. When it comes to the bread vs rolls at Longhorn vs Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn wins. I love the pull apart bread, I do however find myself missing the cinnamon butter ha ha. Comparing the cesear salad from both places, TRH wins. Although I enjoyed the croutons more at Longhorn the dressing is a little bit on the mayonnaise tasting side for me. The broccoli is also better and more flavorful at TRH, I have the rice being equal for me. When it comes to the shrimp and steak, although good I found it to be a little bit to much seasoning for me. The service is okay and it's a little bit more pricey, I don't see any reason to give it five or less then four stars. read more

Last time was a bit different than most the times we've been there. Usually I base my experience on the steak and the hostess as well as where I'm seated. This time even though we had a reservation it seemed they were overbooked and we got put into an area at the front that was a bit loud and our hostess was not very good and if it weren't for the servers checking on us we would have been there much longer without food. We go there a lot and I'm a big guy that loves the fries and gravy. I can easily eat a plate myself. I asked the hostess to place another order for fries immediately but she came to check on me to make sure I ate the first plate before she ordered the second which resulted in us waiting for more. The steaks have always been my favorite but I hate fat and the last few times I've been there the fat had raken up at least 50% of my steak which I will cut off and not eat. I will go again but each time I'm less enthused about going back. I hope they get back to the norm soon because I miss what they were 9 months ago. read more

I've been living in a hotel across the parking lot Longhorns for the past couple of months, and thought it was time to give them a try. I arrived here around 7pm, the place was not too busy, and I was seated right away. The atmosphere was fairly casual, brightly lit, and they had country music playing in the background. I started off with a Caesar salad that I was very disappointed with. It consisted of a bowl of romaine lettuce and a bunch of creamy ( store bought ) piled on top of it. There was way too much dressing and it killed the taste of the salad. For my main course I order the 12 oz sirloin cooked well done. I do not like to have my cow still mooing when it is served to me. The quality of the steak was great, cooked to my liking, and perfectly seasoned. I left about 10% of the steak of what was fat and other slimy stuff. For a low-end steak place, Longhorns was very good. The staff was very attentive, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was friendly. read more
