I've been a to a few axe throwing establishments by now, and was excited to try a pretty local one…read morerecommended by a coworker. If you're familiar with Kersey Valley, they have a broad selection of activities throughout the year, and in this case offer both indoor and outdoor throwing. Our group couldn't get together until the evening, and I was excited to see 8pm on a Wednesday as an option. Online booking was easy, though i did find it frustrating that the minimum number of tickets is 3, which prevents this from being a couple's date night activity. No bother for us, we had three anyways. The instructions in the email said to meet by a light pole with a sign that says "escape rooms meet here". From the parking lot, that made absolutely no sense, and I did not see any signs to guide us. At 8 PM on a Wednesday, the place is vacant and it almost felt like trespassing. But we did find one random person who told us to walk past the ticket booth towards some picnic tables, and we eventually found the sign. When our "Axepert" finally found us, he made it comment that he was expecting us to be in the parking lot. This could stand to be clarified on both ends of the table. The two guys we worked with (one was in training) were professional and very friendly. They walked us down to the axe throwing area and talked about other activities offered at Kersey Valley during the walk. If we were to do it again, it seems like the outdoor axe throwing activity is the better option (more space and variety), but because we could not come until the evening we were limited to indoor for this adventure. The location of the indoor axe throwing is a relatively small building with only two lanes. There is limited seating on the other side of the chain-link fence for a few other people. You're not going to be bringing a big group here. I do appreciate that there was air-conditioning in the space on a hot Summer day. While I know that the focus is on maintaining safety, and that they want to teach you how to do the sport, at times it felt like a bit too much handholding and close direct observation. There were times where that was nice, but eventually it would be nice to allow our group to just enjoy the activity, even if we're not that good at it. I would have preferred about 10 to 15 minutes of instruction, and the remaining hour to be left as free throwing time. Overall, we had a good experience. The staff were friendly. That said, I feel like there are better options in the area which are larger spaces and allow more independent time to play. If you were already doing another activity at Kersey Valley, this would be a fun addition. But I wouldn't make a special trip just for the axe throwing.

Synopsis - What an amazing place to kart, arcade, enjoy good games, and eat good food!…read more Went to RushHour for a few hours with some good friends. Started off ordering some food which comes pretty quickly at a decent value for your money. Food was surprisingly good for a non-restaurant! They have plenty to offer from drinks to full meals. Onto the games. Plethora of games to choose from, certainly something for everyone. There are different packages that offer different amounts of tokens for games--all depends on what you're there for. For us, the real attraction was karting. It was everything you could want for in karting. We went during the week so it wasn't overly busy outside of a camp with kids. Our wait times were not bad at all. They give you some basic instructions, rules, safety brief, and then throw you to the wolves. Was an amazing time. 5 Karting Stars out of 5!

Being mixed with others, cause a lot of road rage and made it into bumper cars. We also saw a couple of people get hit pretty bad that they needed escorted off the course but the staff was very responsive and gave a lot of warning to the dangerous drivers. The one thing that was surprisingly amazing was the PIZZA!

My daughters and I were looking for a rage room to get some anger and aggression out in a safe way…read more We found this location and gave it a shot. The location isn't optimal in that it's a bit tucked away (failed to get photos of the area) and I feel they'd have FAR more customers in a more visible location. That being said, gps helped us and we made it there! We arrived for a 5:00pm appointment on a Friday and we were the only ones there. I'm guessing because everyone was just getting off work. The place is very clean and neat looking. The owner Lisa greeted us and has a very calm and friendly demeanor. We all signed electronic waivers via the QR code at check in and paid up front. They also have a texting system to help make changes to your reservation, cancel appt, reminder of upcoming appointment, etc. They require a deposit of $30 to make the appointment and reserve the room. The other two people in our party paid once we got there. It was $30 for 15 minutes in the rage room. Depending on how much rage you need to work out, you may need to reserve more time! They also have a paint splatter room, ax throwing, pool table and a few other activities there. They provide coveralls, face shield, heavy duty work gloves and shoe covers. They have a speaker in the room that you can connect your music to, so YOU pick the music!! Very cool feature, I thought! Lisa was so very accommodating as she helped us get our fear on, set up a camera inside a jar in the room to record, taking our photo, etc. We really appreciated her patience and help with making it a great experience!!! There were three crates (one for each of us) filled with bottles, plates, cups, etc. for us to throw or smash with the selection of weapons provided. In addition, there was a windshield, a computer tower and a dummy and a tire (although we didn't utilize that) that you could take your aggression onto on. Obviously there are rules for safety that need to be followed but overall you're free to express your anger in ways that are therapeutic. Only adults are allowed. I think it used to be 18 but I believe they had to increase the age minimum due to some customers not following safety protocols. (They care about our safety!) I will absolutely be going back!!! For more time in the rage room, the paint splatter room AND the ax throwing! Go check it out. Then leave them what I'm sire will be a great review!!

When I booked our reservation over the phone, I was told that there would be 7 other people, but that they group people all the time. We ended up with 11 in the group.....the 3 of us and 8 others all related. When we first entered the 'house', there was a very weird unpleasant smell which progressively got stronger the further into the house we got. The rooms were small and very crowded with 11 people. The other group basically took over everything.....did all the opening boxes, inputing codes, etc. We had a black-light flashlight, but they kept commandeering it. Finally in the last room, one of the guys said to give us back our flashlight. Between the smell, the heat (probably from having 11 people closed into such small spaces) and basically being excluded, we were really glad when the hour was over. I would not do it again. A real disappointment.

The room was clean, yet set up as a vintage autopsy room. The background noises was befitting as well. Nothing scary, but the ambience was a bit creepy, lol. You have an hour to solve all the clues to obtain the final key to escape the room. We manage to do it with 10:09 left on the clock. Our game master, Al, was great! He gave us very clear and detail instructions on the room, and also gave clues per request. We only needed 3 of them. He also gave us a brief tour of the grounds on the way to the escape room and also let us in on KV's future escape room projects. I look forward to trying them all out!
