We always look for this type of gym when traveling, and seldom find one so good. We were in town for a few days and were able to get day passes. The gym has clean towels (hand towel size) for sweat and/or cleaning equipment. There are lockers and a shower. Good gym etiquette amongst those in the gym with us and the owners are very easy to talk to. This is not the "Globo gym" type of gym so if you like those plates with flat sides that are nearly impossible to properly deadlift with, or like your benches bolted to the floor, then there are other options, but if you are serious about working out, this is your gym.

I'm sure the employees are not getting paid enough to deal with cleaning those nasty toilets. As a member i'm not sure what I paid for if no improvements are being done to the gym. It has been the same since I started going there six years, with a few changes to the carpet and paint color. The grove city power shack is in desperate need of a deep clean!

About a year ago, one of my clients talked me into going to get some exercise other than lifting…read moremyself off of the couch. She went Tue, Thu (6:50pm) and Sat (10:30am) to Stacee's low-impact classes which fit well with my schedule. At first, I was a little nervous being the only guy in the class. But Stacee makes it fun and helps motivate me by calling me out in fun if I miss any classes. I can't say Jazzercise has helped me lose weight which was my initial goal. It's not the activity that's the problem, it's more of a portion-control issue which I'm still working on. However, after all this time, I feel I now have a stronger "core" and have been reintroduced to my abs again after all these years! I'm still on the couch on the other days, but it's now a lot easier to get up! I'm going to keep going in hopes it will eventually help with the weight, too. Everyone is nice and I always feel welcome. It's good to know you can follow the instructor's level or go at your own pace -- whether that's up or down a level. I highly recommend everyone give them a try!
