Great local animal hospital. A modern facility with great staff and service. They have provided a drop off option for my dog who has been getting blood work and other tests. Very user friendly system as well as great care and follow up! Good COVID protocol!

If I could give this business a zero rating I would. I would not recommend this business for dog…read moretraining, that's for sure!! Unless you would like your dog trained by getting a boot in side when he doesn't respond appropriately, or maybe a slap in the face if your dogs teeth graze the trainers hand! Worst of all, my dog ALSO Had to raised scabbed areas on his neck that I did not see until I gave him a bath! I had no Idea what it was, but I had a suspicion! I had to take him to the vet because his fur was so thick and I could not see them. The vet had to shave them to biopsy. My dog had 2 indentions where the shock collar had been left on him SO tight that it left red sores that scabbed, and looked like puncture marks. My heart was broken that my dog had been so mistreated. And to top it all off, he did NOT leave that place doing anything he didn't already know how to do when he got there! Sit, stay, and 1/2 way how to heel. Do not waste 1500.00 on this place. They are brutal! The dad may be a good trainer, but not the son!!

We wanted them to be trained so that when people came into our home they would not be afraid of being "mauled" by our dogs. They took our puppies for 3 months and when we got them back they were trained both off leash and on. Our dogs don't jump on people, they enjoy being around other dogs, and obey the commands we give them. Alana, Zack, and Ron were very helpful and kind the entire time. After we got them back they would come over if we were experiencing difficulties and even when we weren't to see how the dogs (and us) were doing. We are so glad that we took our dogs there. During the next four years we have frequently brought our dogs to be kenneled there. We know that they love our dogs and take excellent care of them. They always go above and beyond in their care of our dogs. My husband and I highly recommend Oakwood Kennels.

What topped it off- I was called 5 mins after the appointment to pay more money for that crappy visit. Their website is 100% misleading with what services they offer. I made an appointment for a dental consult and ONLY an inquiry about a lesion while he was under anesthesia, the vet that looked at my dog didn't even appear/sound to be a vet.... Literally. Anything out of her mouth just seemed to have no validity and very little confidence. I just was told over and over again that if I pass by in Austin Tx there was an affordable vet to complete a tooth extraction. It's like dude, really? I'm coming here over the WEBSITE notice of the dental package. I can't make this sh** up! I liked the tech and the office seemed clean, but no one in that office knows their left hand from their right. Also, pricing online is NOT what you will get charged.... It's going to be more. If you ask a question they won't know the true confirmed answer. Would you trust your pet with an atmosphere like that?? I'll leave that question to you.

Our trainer, Monica, was excellent with Daisy and what I loved most about her was that she would explain to us how she was training our dog and also why she would do something a certain way. A lot of times she would comment about how this reinforces some sort of behavior or would boost Daisy's confidence, etc. At one point of our training Daisy didn't take well to the previous lesson (down lesson) and Daisy wasn't receptive to the next training session and was extremely nervous and jittery. Monica picked up on this right away and instead of just charging through, took a step back to assess the situation and told us that this lesson would be free since Daisy wasn't herself and even considered bringing another trainer in. We were extremely appreciative of this gesture and found it to be very considerate and professional. We were a little nervous starting out the training because Daisy is an extremely sensitive and submissive dog, but at the end of the training (which was today) her confidence levels are much higher and she seems to be a much happier dog!!! Daisy is far from perfect but her discipline and manners are getting better every day and we love seeing her progress and growth. We highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training. We did a ton of research and even met with other companies but we could not have been happier with our choice.

I'll explain the full story below, but the bottom line is that if you are considering getting a…read morepuppy from NK Ranch Goldendoodle Treasures you should stop considering it right now. We bought a puppy with hip dysplasia and the breeders were extremely unhelpful. They only care about their business and reputation. Making money from their dogs is first and foremost to them. Be VERY careful. I would plead with you to not buy a puppy from NK Ranch, so you don't end up in the situation that my family is in right now. Find your best friend elsewhere. Getting a puppy from NK Ranch isn't worth it. We got a puppy (Teddy) from NK Ranch Goldendoodle Treasures in June 2023. After having him for a week, he started limping on his back right leg. When we looked at it, we noticed that he was missing two toes on his back right foot. Assuming that was the reason he was limping, we had the vet check it at his initial check-up. The vet told us that the foot wasn't genetic and that his mother had taken the toes off. We had never heard of this before, but the vet assured us that it wouldn't affect him. With that information, we assumed the limping was him getting used to the foot and refrained from too much activity. However, the limping continued and kept getting worse. We took him back to the vet and she definitively stated that the limping was not being caused by the foot. We had x-rays taken of Teddy's hips and the vet diagnosed him with severe hip dysplasia in his hips. So, a couple months into having a new puppy that my family loves tremendously, we find that Teddy has a painful, genetic disorder that he will have for life. Not knowing what our options were, we talked to our vet, Loop 494 Animal Hospital, and breeder, NK Ranch. The vet gave us three options, 1) use medication for pain management (lifelong), 2) surgery for new hips ($6,000-$8,000) after one year, or 3) euthanize. Through a couple defensive conversations with NK Ranch, they gave us two options, 1) give us our money back and we keep Teddy or 2) give us our money back, give Teddy to NK Ranch, and NK Ranch would euthanize him. We asked for paperwork on Teddy's parents and if a company had certified his parents. We were told, "You won't get anything out of them." In an attempt not to go down too many rabbit holes, suffice it to say that the dogs at NK Ranch are NOT certified or tested in any way against genetic disorders including hip dysplasia. Any "health guarantee" is just an attempt to deceive buyers into thinking they are getting a healthy puppy with nothing to back it up. We then notified NK Ranch that we would take their first option and would keep Teddy and take our money back. At that point, NK Ranch changed their offers because they were worried we would share our story with others and ruin their business. Through several discussions, they went back to their original two offers, but altered the first option to say that they would give us our money back if we signed a waiver of liability and a non-disclosure agreement of the situation. We offered to sign the non-disclosure agreement if they tested their dogs for hip dysplasia. They declined. NK Ranch obviously wants to continue to sell puppies without anyone knowing that the puppies they're selling, not only may, but will likely have hip dysplasia in their lives; sooner like us, or later like so many they have already sold. Taking our money back for silence just isn't right. Having seen hip dysplasia in later life from previous family dogs, it's a tough way to see them go, but to now experience hip dysplasia with a puppy, it brings a whole new level of pain to our family. We can't let that happen to others without warning. We pray that others don't have to go through what we are experiencing. We have not accepted either of their unhelpful and underhandedly selfish offers and ask that you heed this warning.

Pickup was set to be June 27th and drop off was set to be June 30th. Pickup was pushed back to June 30th and drop off was not until 4:30am on July 5th. The next week was full of anxiety, excuses for delay (which ultimately was other transports that were not disclosed upon booking), lies, and aggression from Heather. Heather rarely took accountability for delays that are 100% avoidable, but happened due to her own poor planning. She complains about sleep and travel costs, as if she does not make her own schedule. She will call you out of your name for questioning her practices or asking for explicit updates on locations of your pets (lesson learned: USE AN AIRTAG). She travels with a man, her partner I assumed but this is not listed on her profile, who drives at-least a portion of these trips. He was in the driver's seat upon the 4:30am drop off. They actively sped (80-100mph) with my babies in her car, this was noted once I was finally able to track their location using a provided app from Heather halfway through their trip. I am currently working with Citizen Shipper to refund this matching fee and investigate the entire trip, as my dogs are still traumatized and my property for them has been damaged/taken. The following outline will be on her Yelp Page for her LLC, on her Facebook Page for her LLC, and on her Citizen Shipper Platform page, with pictures of her being unprofessional via text and of her speeding patterns from her location tracking apps. DO NOT BOOK WITH HER unless you're okay with spending hundreds of dollars on bad service, not getting the desired pick-up/drop-off times, not knowing where your pets are, being called out of your name, and having to spend even more days trying to un-traumatize your pet. Remaining detailed review, this speeding screenshot, and owner being rude in pictures. UPDATE (JULY 11): Heather contacted me after seeing the reviews. Very nasty and rude via text. Hoping she seeks help or changes her ways. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS BUSINESS IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOGS.
