I was talked into starting the CareClub program which seemed extremely helpful, I was only able to take advantage of this for 3 months although I was locked into an agreement for a year. 27 days post spay surgery I had to make the hardest decision in my life due the severity of my attack. Completely came out of nowhere, I had to call animal control which took 3 days to remove my cat from my home..My first instinct was to call my "trusted veterinary clinic" I was asked from the woman over the phone "Why would you bring her here?". Extremely disrespectful and disheartening to hear that from the last people to touch your baby! I wanted to ensure that I was not going to be continuously charged for my CareClub plan so I have now called 3-4 times and physically went into the office to show the staff the severity of my wounds.. I was assured by the wonderful receptionists (THE MOST HELPFUL AND CONSIDERATE employees!) that I would receive a phone call from the Office Manager on Thurs, the 19th. I never received a call, so I called first thing Friday morning and was told that "oh the manager took care of it." I understand the situation was "taken care of", I deal with legal agreements daily. Maybe it's too much to ask, but I would have expected some sort of email addressing the termination of the agreement. WHERE IS THE COMMUNICATION?!?!?!? WorldClass Veterinarian? Hmm do your research.

I cannot say enough about Dr Ashley and the way she helped us through this difficult process. They had been our vet for years but this trip stands our in my mind of what you would want form someone helping you face what was best for our loyal pet. They stored our pets remains until we could travel back to Louisiana to bring her home. When I went to pickup her remains I noticed a candle with a sign that said when the candle was lit to be respectful, someone was saying good by to their pet... I found this very touching. I can say this this veterinary clinic is focused on care and customer service, so happy they were there for us.

Girl said, yes Dr Souza can do that and he will bring a blanket to wrap her in. I said okay and she asked for payment of over $100 for mobile visit. Dr and asst showed up, spent a few minutes checking leg and speaking about situation and I decided it was best for her not to suffer. They were here about 15-20 min maybe. I took my other service dog for walk and probably 20 min after they left I get a call about paying for additional service. (Very unprofessional to bother someone that quick) I said I paid over $100 and they were here and provided service. There's an extra charge for blah blah.. nothing was mentioned when I asked about it on phone originally. I don't care charge card and I hung up. Very pissed off and my PTSD activated. 2x 100% disabled combat veteran and expect honesty, integrity and respect and got not much of that. Was charged a fairly large sum and the 15 min service was around $300. To me that is ridiculous. Make a little money I get it but don't take advantage of people. After a brief look, we were told they did not have a Parvo test kit and that we needed to go immediately to the Brazoria clinic. We were told they would call ahead to let Brazoria know we were coming specifically for Parvo testing. When we arrived at the Brazoria clinic, our puppy was taken to the back for an exam. We reasonably assumed that the Parvo test and blood work were being done, since that was the entire reason we were sent there. Instead, the veterinarian blamed us for her illness, stating that feeding her plain chicken breast the night before caused a GI infection. His demeanor was dismissive and arrogant. Relieved we weren't told it was Parvo, we trusted his diagnosis and went home -- after paying a very expensive bill. The next day, our puppy continued to decline and had not eaten in over 24 hours. When I called the Brazoria clinic, I was told -- very matter-of-fact -- that our very sick puppy was just being "stubborn" and would eat when she was hungry. The following morning she was dramatically worse, barely able to walk. We rushed her to a different veterinarian. After extensive testing, X-rays, and blood work, she continued to deteriorate. At my insistence, they tested her for Parvo. Within 10 minutes, the results came back positive. We immediately called the Brazoria clinic and discovered that she was NEVER tested for Parvo there -- despite being sent to that location specifically for that reason. The veterinarian made the decision to completely disregard Parvo testing. Had our puppy been properly diagnosed days earlier, she would never have come so close to dying. We would not have spent thousands of dollars, nor been forced into emergency weekend hospitalization. Please save your time, money, and heartache and avoid both the Brazoria and West Columbia veterinary clinics. Their lack of thoroughness, accountability, and compassion nearly cost our puppy her life. According to them, she was "just stubborn."

The entire experience was pleasant. I called, told them the puppy I was interested in, and drove down the next morning to take a look. The puppy was exactly as I'd expected it to be--cute, fluffy, healthy, and happy! I brought him home that morning. To address the concern of whether or not they are breeder: Jon and Jimmie used to breed Yorkies, but stopped several years ago. Now, they operate as a broker only. They sell Yorkies for longtime friends. I can not confirm to whether or not the puppies come from puppy mills, but what I can say is that our Yorkie was healthy, well cared for, well-marked, and adapted extremely well. Our puppy did have some hypoglycemia issues (common in these little babies). I was able to reach out to Jimmie by email, then phone, to discuss. While our puppy is just fine now, Jimmie was genuinely concerned and really helpful. She asked that I let her know if there are any systemic issues (i.e. liver shunt) found so that the dog's parents would not be bred again to prevent this genetic defect. Fortunately, no liver shunt was found.

My boss thought she knew better than Petco and the vendor so to get around the black out, she sold the ferret as a cockateil so she wouldn't get caught. If you have bought a ferret in the last 30 days, it may have distemper and has not had its rabies shots either. And if the fish lights are off, and the aquatics specialist is not there, THEY ARE LYING TO TO YOU. They just don't want to help you. Call corporate. Petco recommends they be place in our wellness room and given electrolytes and probiotic for 48 before being placed on the floor. They do not do this which results in hamsters getting wet tail and dying within a week. 4) strange liquid on the floor after my day off 5) rat droppings and eating bags . It took 3 months to get it under control and i was told to tape bags that were eaten and to clean cat furniture they were nesting in. I refused. 6) six baby chameleons improperly housed all died 7) visible rat snap traps and Are reachable by customers and children. These have since been removed after I complained to the DM 9) failure to thrive bearded dragon left to die rather than put down. it suffered for weeks before it starved to death. 10) employee hold till payday area.
