Our first visit we had an appointment and they ignored us for 20 minutes past our appointment time. We almost walked out when they finally called us. One of the barbers was loud and crass and was so obnoxious, we could hardly wait to get out of there. The haircut was somewhat decent however, and a good price. We decided to give them a second shot a few weeks later, and once again made an appointment with Ernest. This time, they went over 30 minutes past our appointment time before they even acknowledged us. Not only that, but he did such a poor job this time, my hubby was left with razor burns on most of his hair perimeter even days later. Location is convenient right off a main street, parking is plentiful and pricing is decent. That said, with the unprofessional lack of customer attentiveness, disregard for keeping appointments and shoddy shave work, we will definitely not be returning.

Inside is clean and kept up (which is the most important). As for the job itself - it was his best haircut ever. He's very happy and said finally he got the cut he wanted - smooth and even all around (which has been a struggle in our experience). The shop itself was spacious and clean with a no frills decor. I was immediately seated by a barber, John. John is a man of few words, but is extremely attentive. He asked me what kind of cut I wanted, I answered, and he asked a few clarifying questions. Of the small talk we had, John mostly responded with a protracted, unimpressed "uh huh", but I didn't mind that. It was clear he was involved in the details of my cut. While cutting my hair, he didn't answer phones or respond to any messages, which is all too common at most barber shops, and I greatly appreciate that.
