We also ordered two appetizers -- BBQ wings and the Pub Poutine. The margaritas were so awesome, we both had a 2nd one. Wings were excellent -- meaty, with a crispy outer coating. But I wasn't crazy about the poutine though. The gravy used was very light in color and it didn't have white cheddar cheese curds on top. It wasn't "authentic Canadian poutine". Poutine aside, the Sterlingtown Public House is a great place to kick back for a few hours at the bar. Even on a Tuesday night.

We waited and waited to be served and they most times did not even look at the guests at the bar to see if they needed anything. While I may try this place if I'm in the area again, I can't say it would be my first stop to hit.

Sea Dog Brewing is by no means in talks of outstanding beers or brewery considering the far superior competition the state of Maine has. Even their most popular blueberry beer tastes much more artificial than you would hope. Sea Dog has been a brewery for a long while but I don't think they have kept up with the quality of craft beer you can find now. Now despite that negative talk overall about their beers I do believe most of the locations do offer quality pub food. You will find a variety of options including sandwiches/burgers, salads, pasta, soups, and more. It's a spot that everyone in your party including picky eaters will find something they want. It does have a lot of space available for dining. Service wise during our visit was alright. Ordering took awhile and time of seeing our server from one time to next took a little while. Food wise I went with Sesame Chicken Bowl and my wife got the Sautéed Lemony Chicken Piccata. Food was alright, my wife's chicken was quite dry. It was quite tart but the marbled wagyu and flavors were nice together. For our main course, the Trout (side of mushrooms)& halibut. The trout was deboned and delicious. Perfectly charred, light and airy meet. My husband liked the mushroom, but I felt they were quite wet. Too much oil or butter. In my opinion, it completely overwhelmed the mushrooms and didn't leave any natural taste. I felt the same about the halibut. The fish was cooked to perfection. Light and delicate. Nice piece of fish. However it was so buttery that's all I could taste. The potato cake and zucchini were very nice, but still lots of broth dominating the other flavors. Overall, fun atmosphere. Wonderful staff. We had a wonderful waiter and were checked on by multiple people. I'd say, the food left a little to be desired this time. I love Michelin rated and exciting cuisines.
