Chic and cozy hotel bar. Open seating, so plan accordingly and expect it to be at peak right before dinner time! The happy hour pricing makes this place worth the stop. At the time we went (October 2025) $4 of their signature cocktails, beers and wine. Seriously? In this economy?? We loaded up on drinks before heading to dinner! Their food menu was extremely limited due to the kitchen servicing a private event. They only had bar snacks (popcorn, charcuterie) available. But have heard their standard bar menu (e.g. burgers) is good. I was most impressed by the sole person working in the room for at least an hour, bussing, taking orders and attending to 12 independent parties. She did it with ease. I don't think that's the "normal" for them, given they had already communicated they were preparing for a private event. Would certainly pop back for cocktail on our next visit. read more

If you are looking for a quiet hotel bar with spectacular atmosphere this is the place to be. The tasty appetizers pair well with the innovative drinks. We had the pork belly skewers and the crispy vegetarian spring rolls and they were delicious. Unfortunately we ordered the smash burgers for dinner and they should be removed from the menu. Both of our burgers were a touch larger than a slider, dry and had a soggy buns. This is the reason for the three star rating. Service was fine; the bartender also served the room. read more

Let's be clear- Camden is a magnificent place to visit and there are no shortage of things to do. But, when you want to take a step back to a more elegant time, a time where the Bogarts and Bacalls signaled for one more before the night was over- then the Vintage room is for you. The cocktails are meticulously crafted and the ambiance never lets up. Yes a crafted cocktail can take a bit longer but the flavors are worth it, and the Vintage room is always worth a stop in Camden. read more

Spotted the rooftop bar The View (separate from Vintage Room) from down below and knew it would be a great spot for cocktails. To get there, enter the hotel and take the elevator up to the roof. There you'll find a hopping spot that serves drinks and light fare. We just did cocktails ($30 for two drinks before tip) but the food we saw coming out looked delish (albeit small portions). The views can't be beat. Service was fast and solid, cocktails were tasty, and it was a great way to start off our getaway. read more

Bartender was rude and passive aggressive. She became overwhelmed when our family arrived, and when my mother-in-law asked her what a pickle bowl was, the bartender told her to go sit down. Perhaps she had a bad night or was too overwhelmed with the amount of people in the room, but that's not how you treat customers. The drinks were great, but no drink is worth being treated like that. read more

This is such a super nice hotel bar. So comfy, excellent bartenders. Convenient location. The cocktails are creative. And being a hotel bar they allow well behaved dogs! I can see us hanging out here in winter trips to midcoast. Camden has so few of these relaxing joints downtown. The only issue was that we expected some food choices looking at past menus. But I'm guessing that stops after tourist season? We ordered a $20+ cheese plate which has hannaford-like chunks and ritz crackers, yuck. Nice caper berries, though. read more

Locals recommended stopping by here so I went @ 6 on Sunday 7/2. Happy hour 5-7. Rooftop bar was closed bc it was raining. Ordered the mushroom pan Vino risooto balls. . Had 1 glass of wine then headed to La Cave for mussels. - another local favorite read more

It is the atmosphere that keeps me coming back here. It is dark and cozy with a nice fireplace and the building shows its age. It is small and the furniture is comfortable. It has a small but acceptable wine list. The staff is very nice, but sometimes you have to prod them for service. The snacks are acceptable if a little over priced. Nice, quiet space in lobby of hotel. Bar features the local gin in several flavors. Half a dozen Maine beers on tap. Happy Hour provides viscounts on full bar card not just cheap generic beer or wine. Service was friendly. read more

We just got into Rockport from a long road trip and we're looking for a place to eat. This was one of the few places open. The waitress, who was also the bartender really knew how to mix a drink. Their drink menu was really creative. They serve Tapas sized portions and we were a but LIRR hungry. The food was great though. The atmosphere was cozy and chic. read more

This wine bar is in a hotel that is part of a group . We are staying at an adjacent hotel and they gave us a coupon for a free drink . We asked the person at our hotel what that consisted of and she said a free glass of wine. We had 2 glasses of wine and the server at this hotel never came back to our table so I brought the empty glasses to her and asked to settle our bill. I presented the coupon for the free drink and the server said " well you know that is only worth a 1/2 glass of carbonated drink " . Her loud voice and tone was intentionally focused toward the other patrons to hear . I said ok here is my credit card and paid . No thank you or any other words were exchanges . If you are looking for a pretentious environment with disrespectful attitude then this is this place . read more

I'm going to continue this five star rating because the bartender made me an awesome old fashioned. A hard drink to master ESPECIALLY for millennials! She even had a big ice cube! Nice. My wife had some girly chocolate thing. Nice portion size and we ended up with old people hangover the next day! Lol. Light weights! We're in Camden for the weekend and it's unseasonably hot and humid. Can't believe we were the only people to be taking advantage of this climate controlled, cool, stylish bar. Bartender told us the roofdeck was much more crowded, but it was still early in the evening and sun was too hot to be up there (imho!) Anyway, we weren't looking for a big dinner so the charcuterie and cheese dip were perfect for us. The cheese dip is AMAZING, by the way. Also great local draft beers and lovely cocktail menu. Try the "Speakeasy" - prosecco, St. Germaine, and grapefruit juice. I hate sweet drinks and this was perfect for me. read more

While the drinks were good, the service was not. The bartender at this establishment was very rude. She was rude about my drink order. She was rude when we asked if we would be able to sit down the second night that we were staying at the hotel. She snapped at multiple customers around us. She complained that she had to make the food that we ordered, which was a premade dip and some chips. For the cost, it was super disappointing. read more

This trendy, upscale, and new intimate hotel lobby bar sets the standard in Camden. Drinks were amazing, appetizer was excellent (only got one), and the bartender was friendly. Great spot for a cocktail. The interior of the Vintage Room is nicely decorated and even if it's not a large space, they really found a way to make it work in a nice way. Nice and comfy sofas and chairs placed in a way that optimizes the space without making you feel that you are sitting with the people next to you. Drinks were well prepared and balanced. read more

What an amazing cocktail bar! Seriously, Marcus is a wizard. Ask him to make you a custom cocktail. I gave a few indications of what I liked and what I wanted, and he made me easily the best cocktail I've ever had! A true mixologist, with accolades and awards (though, he probably won't tell you that). I stopped in on a Sunday night in November, definitely not the busy season, and I had an incredible experience with excellent service. I will 100% return, and I seriously encourage anyone in the area to visit for amazing drinks with an exceptionally knowledgeable bartender. read more

We walked in hoping to find tapas, even though it was after 10 because everyone else was closed. What we found was the most awesome and knowledgeable bartender we could have ever met! Marcus was a total professional, very impressive and made the best drinks I've ever had. We sat there talking to him for over an hour but could have easily stayed longer if it wasn't closing time. If we had been able to go back the next night, we definitely would have, but we were only there for a few days. I'm sure the next time we go back to Maine, we'll make it a point to stop in and hopefully Marcus will be there again! Whether you sit on stools facing Bay View or the plush leather chairs near the fireplace (like we did) or at the bar, the friendly and attentive staff will take good care of you.I didnt know what I wanted so I just told her I wanted something sweet and delish and she bought me something very good (might have been called fruit & nuts) We will be back for sure. I was not very impressed, the décor while they tried hard, looked like it was straight out of home goods. It's very small and quaint. The bartender seemed overwhelmed even though their were only 4 people there including us. The bartender seemed to not know much about bartending... including what 'twist' was. The food menu is pretty bare bones we ordered a charcuterie plate which was pretty abysmal - like 12 slices of genoa salami and some pickles, nothing unique. Soggy from the rain and not dressed all that nicely I my wife and I just wanted to get a glass of wine and take a few moments to think about what to do next. We could not have been treated nicer or more professionally. We decided to do the happy hour small bites and we were extremely glad we did. The bartender (a young woman from Colorado) was as good as any I have ever encountered. The service, quality of food and ambiance made this a great experience. I highly recommend. read more

The perfect lounge in a stunningly beautiful new boutique hotel in Camden. We visited two nights during our three night stay in Camden. Great cocktails, beers, snacks, desserts, etc. Sarah is excellent. Friendly and informative. She made the place even more special. We had warm bread with garlic butter and argula salad in appetizers. Both were great. We ordered chicken lollipop and beef with mesh potatoes in main course. We liked chicken one better. Portion size were decent and we had to pack some of these to take home. Service was very nice. Parking is available outside for a fee and roadside for free.

Right after we were seated, a table of 12 was seated next to us, which I knew would be problematic. To make matters worse, they were splitting their orders up in multiple people. The poor server. We waited very long for our food and my husband finally tagged another server and asked him to check. Sure enough our food was ready but our server was busy.
