In my personal opinion, I wish there was a little more mayo. I like mine to be a little more "wet" and it really pulls all the flavors. We also had dinner. I was able to try the deviled eggs. They are gooood. Perfectly boiled and the filling was piped very nicely. Firm and good flavors. We did add the caviar. Caviar was good, nice amount of salty kick. My husband was not as impressed with the caviar. Said it was better without. He ordered the Roasted Halibut (asparagus, roasted fingerlings, cherry tomato, lemon caper beerre blanc.) He said it was cook perfectly great blending flavors. Only compliant, it was a small piece of fish. I orders the Fra Diavolo (maine lobster, linguine, calabrian chile) Wow. This was soo delicious. Lobster in anything is a must. The linguine was perfect. The sauce. Of the sauce was light and flavorful. I loved that it had a nice heat and spice but it was not overwhelming. White table cloth service. Servers were all excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. This place has the best fine dining experience in the mid-coast. Food was outstanding- every course. I did find the printed à la carte and dessert menus odd as they list the dishes' main ingredients but lack any preparation detail. So we found ourselves having to ask about several dishes before being able to make a selection. Maybe it is on purpose but it made me a bit uncomfortable to keep asking about preparation of the dishes throughout the courses. The only real negative for us is the same negative we had 10 years ago. We were seated in the porch area and I suspect they fill this area first as it has wonderful views of the Camden Hills. Both times we have been seated in there, there have been loud, fairly obnoxious diners (#-bombs flying this last visit) in the room with us. They asked how I wanted it cooked, which isn't usually something I get asked about salmon, so I said to cook how they normally would. It was probably about medium inside, still tender and not overcooked. The salmon had a strong grill taste but not enough seasoning and the fishy brown part was still attached underneath. The mushroom risotto and carrots were cooked and seasoned well. Overall, there wasn't anything major wrong with the meal, but I felt underwhelmed for the price tag ($36).
