Finally made the trip to Nate's place had a great experience. The shop is clean, lively, and has a great collection of art as well as vintage skateboards. Easy to get to Nate uses the newest tech for his sketches and easily makes adjustments in real time. I was very happy with his version of my idea for my tattoo. I was referred here by a friend who has loads of beautiful tattoos throughout his body, and finally looked up the yelp reviews, was happy with what I read and so booked an appointment.  WHILE BOOKING  I spoke with one of the artists/staff over the phone, and he was very nice, accommodating, and professional. First impression so far was great. UPON ARRIVAL I parked right in front of the shop, and as I was walking in, one of the artists was outside and he was friendly, welcomed me in. That was nice. So far consistent in welcoming.  THE SHOP I didn't wait very long, as it was near the end of their hours and while I was waiting, I completed the normal paperwork for getting a tatt, the place was clean, eclectic style with skateboards with art on them posted along the wall, totally loved the vibe in there.  The music they had playing varied from rock, alternative, to hip hop. I love all forms of music so  noticed this right away. It wasn't just heavy metal which in my two previous tattoo shops, that's all they played I realized.  There are dividers throughout the shop in the main tattooing area- so basically every artist have their own space to tattoo their client. It's not an open space where everyone can just walk by, next to you, which I appreciate having my own little bubble that's for me and mine.  ARTIST Since it was the end of the day, I lucked out and got the owner of the tattoo shop do my tattoo (who ended up being the person who greeted me when I first arrived). He was super cool, down to earth and easy going. I appreciate good and friendly energy especially if it involves touching me in anyway shape or form in this case getting my tattoo. I believe in that transfer of energy and was totally at ease with him hooking me up with my tatt. Good conversation while still doing a great job on my tattoo. (multi-tasker=winning) OVERALL I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone interested in getting a tattoo. Consistently friendly, professional, CLEAN, and I LOOOVEEE my tattoo (I got an ankh). I got a stellar piece of art on my forearm by Harmony at this shop. One of the best artists in the AV, without a doubt. The shop has an easy layout, with much of the space dedicated to workstations (not a bad thing at all). There's a spacious waiting area with a ton of flash to look through and a case with everyone's businesses cards on display. I have no complaints, this is definitely a 5 star tattoo parlor! read more

Okay so getting a tattoo is a big deal. Or at least it should be. I got my first tattoo here at Diamond St. Tattoo... just today! Lets start with the staff, the two I've dealt with are Harmony and James. I give them kudos. Harmony has done my mother and my sisters' tattoos. She has a great personality and makes you feel very comfortable. James, is amazing! James did my tattoo, he made me comfortable and talked with me the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, or a better person to do my tattoo. The shop is clean, and beautiful. They have a VERY sanitary procedure. The shop minimum is 60. Which is what I paid for my tattoo. Over all, an amazing experience. I would suggest this place to anyone and everyone! Great environment, great people, amazing tattoos. Enjoy. read more

I recently (3 months ago) got my first tattoo at Diamond St Tattoo, and I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing the experience was. The shop is very clean and professional. The artists are all extremely nice, helpful, and talented. Their website and Facebook page are also very helpful. I looked through a bunch of tattoo shops in Lancaster and Diamond St definitely stood out to me. I had my tattoo done by Harmony. I gave her my idea along with a few reference photos, and she designed the tattoo I had pictured in my head. It was absolutely amazing. I felt very comfortable in the shop. Harmony was super great and I will definitely be getting my next tattoo from her. I've been recommending Diamond St to all of my friends. My niece also got both of her tattoos there. Oh, and I also got my septum piercing done by Eddie, who is a fantastic piercer! Made me feel very comfortable, even while jabbing a needle through my septum! He will definitely be doing all of my future piercings. I can't say enough about this shop! 5 stars most definitely! read more

Heather does an amazing job with permanent makeup here. I got the hairstroke technique done on my almost non existent eyebrows. I no longer have to fill in my eyebrows and it took so much time off my makeup routine. I am beyond happy with the results. Worth every penny! read more

I just got my first tattoo ever on 22 December 2010. Matthew was my tattoo artist and he was fantastic. I met Matthew the previous weekend and all I had was a very basic concept of a tattoo in my mind. He tried to help me expand on my concept in order to make it more personal and custom. I made an appt with Matthew and came back on the 22nd. Matthew had drawn up another variation of my concept which helped me think about it even more. He willingly suffered through an hour of me changing my mind and asking for a different drawing until I was finally happy. He is definitely a fan of custom tattoos and I am so happy he is. I was in the shop for 2 hours that night and only 30 mins was actually spent getting the tattoo. Matthew was awesome. The minimum charge is $60 and that is all he charged me. I gave him a $40 tip though. He was just so fantastic. He made me feel completely comfortable and at ease especially since it was my first tattoo and the fact that I had a million health and safety questions about the entire process. It was super clean in the shop, everything was sterile, and the artist was amazing. After all of his work for my custom tattoo, I technically only paid $60. Incredible! Thanks Matthew! Got tatted here and I don't know if the guy was nervous or what but the tattoo job done on me was HORRIBLE. How can you go outside the line that was stamped on my skin???? And then another part he never connect the line of the tattoo. I had to wait for it to heal and the swelling to go down to see all of this, went back to have him touch it up again and still did a crappy job. Never went back to this shop and found a reliable shop a few miles down to get it fix. Maybe I just went to the wrong artist. read more

This place is awesome and clean! Eddie just did a Army memorial tat for my husband today and it looks AWESOME! It is seriously sick! My husband brought in an idea for a cover up and Eddie told him what he thinks and advise on how to work with the cover up and all if it was great advise and both of us could not be happier with the outcome, colors, size and detail, it 's very clean! My husband definitely gave Eddie a great tip because he deserved it! When my husband is ready to get his back done, he will only go to Eddie now, I highly recommend him and he does piercings as well. The tattoo artist that did my tattoo didn't make the lines meet at certain points, and the shading wasn't great at all. And on top of it the owner did nothing but insult my other tattoos. I will never go back here? And not to mention the price is ridiculous for such lousy work read more
