Worst tattoo experience I've ever had. My best friend and I came here excited to get tattoos based on a reference photo we provided, and the final result looked nothing like what we asked for. Completely disappointing from the start. It only got worse from there. We reached out multiple times on Instagram to have the work fixed and were either ignored or left on read. When they did respond, it was always some excuse about why they hadn't gotten back to us. At one point, we were told to come in as a walk-in to fix the tattoos. We showed up as instructed, only to be turned away because the artist who did our tattoos wasn't there. Total waste of time. Later, they messaged asking for my phone number, saying "Evan" would contact me. He finally reached out almost three days later, but when I tried to actually schedule an appointment, I was ignored again. No follow-up, no accountability, nothing. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service is honestly shocking. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo here, don't. Save yourself the frustration, time, and money. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

They did a coverup tattoo for me years ago at their former location. I didn't have a clue what I wanted but the artist suggested a beautiful Lotus flower and Japanese style waves, which has such wonderful spiritual significance. He did a wonderful job but and it still looks great. I plan on another one shortly and this is the business I'll use. I highly recommend them. Very professional and organized. I never leave bad reviews cause I feel like that is mean however I went in to get my lip repierced in the same area cause the hole on the outside is still open! Anyway the piercing was placed down at the tip of my lip going to the top it was horrible for me and I did not like it! I left from there and cried for like 3 hours then I went back to have him fix it and I'm still not happy! My kids were even upset at the way the new piercing came out! I was tattooed by Danny a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. After talking with him only a few minutes one day and showing him three examples he designed a tattoo to cover an ugly bird on my leg that has bothered me for well over 20 years. I'm stoked about my newest ink(s). I've got a gorgeous sea turtle, NO UGLY BIRD, on my thigh and I finally added my granddaughter's name to my arm-a design which he understood right away and put ink to skin right after the turtle was finished. Another great thing about Danny is this: I didn't have to wait forever to get my tattoo. He got me in within about a week and that's fantastic! Years ago you could walk in but now some artist want to take three to six weeks to even draw a rough draft and maybe see you before seasons change; it's ridiculous. Danny got me on the schedule about a week after I met him. Danny is great; he's professional and his work area is very neat, organized and CLEAN. He wasn't concerned with any BS going on in the shop; he was focused on me and my time in the chair and I truly appreciate Oates that because I believe that time is mine, no one else's. Danny's method is clean lines and true color shading. He didn't dig into my flesh he just put ink to skin and I was as comfortable as I could be. I was also impressed by his work ethic; he didn't jump up for a lot of breaks and at the same time made sure I didn't need one. I'll definitely be going to see Danny again! As far as Electric Soul: I love the newer digs. I hadn't been in since they moved to West Ave J; it's closer to home so it made me more likely to pop in one day like I had been meaning to do since before Covid! Alexandria kept saying, " Just come by" when I'd email and ask about a coverup or whatever. I love her; she's fantastic! I love the shop and all it's little areas. The artwork displayed is appealing and appropriate. The shop is clean and tidy. It has lots of light in the lobby and feels comfortable; the atmosphere is pleasant. I love how chill it is, both the people and the A/C. Everyone was so nice and when someone would come in to check out Danny's work they acknowledged me as well and we'd chat for a little. Their services are offered by nice, professional artists and providers. I'm considering eyebrows by Alexandria! Anyway I didn't get her name but the young lady up front while I was waiting on Danny, she said she was a piercer, was very nice and kept me company with good conversation for a good half an hour. We even learned something so no time was wasted. Over all I see Electric Soul as fantastic! The staff, the and the services offered are top notch. The decor, the atmosphere and the music (the temperature too!) are close to perfect. Excellent experience! Extremely clean and friendly studio, I had an appointment for a piercing and wow! Cartlidge piercings are usually a tad tender depending on individuals tolerance but I had the BEST experience ever! Extremely minimal swelling for a day or 2 and no pain or heat at the piercing site! I used H2 Ocean to cleanse twice a day and never a problem, our of all the piercings I've had done over the years this one was by far the best experience I've ever had! This is the place to go for piercings! Danny was awesome. I've been pierced before and this was by far the best experience. I went in for my navel, unfortunately this was to be the third time since the first time it was ripped out and the second it got infected due to a allergic reaction to the jewelry. Danny made sure to ask all the right questions as to why it was the third and answer all of mine. He was very knowledgeable and went over everything care wise for my navel. Definitely will be sending friends his way. Update: my body started to reject my piercing. Went back and saw the owner Allie. She took awesome care of me and answered all of my questions. I have seen several examples of Ally's artistry. Every single one is flawless and very creative. Ally is extremely skilled, creative, careful and accurate. The tatts my daughter has capture the image and personality of the people and furkids in each of the potraits perfectly. One thing must be pointed out. There is one very disparaging review that is 100% false and for a good reason. The individual who wrote that review is a former employee of Electric Soul tattoo who was fired several months ago for stealing cash from the store register in the amount of around 200.00. This same individual was not satisfied with theft from the company, she also proceeded to remove cash from Ally's purse. She is making totally false claims about Ally as she was upset at being fired. You get what you pay for and here you pay for excellence. I have one piece that was done here and I have no complaints.
