I happened to come across The Grout Genie and scrolled through their reviews and saw so many great things customers were saying, so I gave them a call. OMG! All of the reviews are accurate. From the start, everyone I dealt with in the company was very responsive, professional, and on time. Brad did our work and he was freaking amazing! He did such a thorough job and made our showers that are from 1999 shine and look brand new again. I will be calling them when I'm ready to do other repair work in our bathroom. The work the team did was beautiful and a great value for the price. We went a little over 10% over budget, which is just about what I expected for a project like this, and I was pleasantly surprised that we actually finished a few days early. The work comes with a 3-year warranty too (which we needed in the past and have had no trouble using), which gives extra peace of mind. Each person on the project - Elena the project manager, Juan the site supervisor, Alexa the designer, John the estimator, and especially the lead technician Cornelio was a pleasure to work with. As with any renovation, there are always surprises and hiccups along the way, but the team handled everything professionally, even when I was stressed and occasionally cranky. One thing of particular note was how much the team was willing to work with me when the inevitable surprises came up. There are things that nobody can foresee, which usually results in a change order and extra cost, but then there are those little things where everyone leaves a conversation with a different impression. In those latter instances, I always really appreciated how willing everyone was to meet me halfway and to make sure I felt good about how things were going and confident that we were doing right by each other. I…read morewas on the board at my previous condo for 18 years, I have been on my current condo board for eight years, and Home Perfection Contracting is the best and most professional contractor I have ever worked with. They tore off our old exterior stairs structure and siding, waterproofed the entire wall, and installed new siding and a stairs structure that is far superior to the old one. Their integrity and work quality are off the charts. The owner, Ahmad Khreshi, did thorough research before starting our well-planned project. I was impressed by his knowledge of current construction techniques and dedication to doing the job right. There were several problems that required Ahmad to think outside of the box, one being how to install siding under our existing power lines conduit which was mounted to the exterior wall at six different points. Several times, Ahmad's crew discovered water damage due to poor work by our developer. Ahmad was extremely flexible in adding repair of that damage into his work plan on top of the bid-upon work. Ahmad was kind and fair, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, kept us in the loop, worked with us on timing, and gave us a couple breaks. His crew was extremely professional and respectful, taking off their shoes when they had to come through the building and isolating interior work areas with plastic sheet dividers. When our project was completed, Ahmad send us the following. I've never worked with a contractor who followed up with an offer of help like this: "Remember, you can always reach out with any technical building related questions, in any trades. I'm more than happy to give advice and guidance on code matters or general best practices, even if you are hiring other people."

They did an absolutely incredible job on our bathroom remodel, and the quality was worth every penny. Lawrence and his crew were fantastic from demo day to the final finishing touches. The tiling and vanity installation look amazing. Lawrence has excellent communication skills and kept everything strictly on track with our contract. Plus, when uncontrollable plan changes popped up, he was incredibly accommodating and offered great solutions. They truly brought our vision to life. Amazing contractor!!!…read more Lawrence and his crew did a complete renovation of our basement to build an apartment for my parents. From the design through completion, it was a great experience. I found them here on Yelp and I obtained 3 quotes for the job. I had the quotes reviewed by an independent contractor who told me L&R's quote was what the job should reasonably cost. I called 4 references who all had a similar and very positive experience. Lawrence always communicated with me about schedule which had not been the case with other contractors. They were there working on my job every day, not showing up once or twice a week like some others. Any fluctuation to schedule or budget was discussed and agreed upon by both parties. We had a couple of unexpected plumbing delays but that was due to the original build not being up to the current code. I changed direction on a couple of design decisions and Lawrence was right there with me. The work was exceptional and the end product is amazing. I have had the nightmare contractor experience so was very cautious. This was exactly as the process should be and I plan to have them back in the fall to do more work. I give them my highest recommendation!
