I thought I was going to have a good time and relax at this restaurant but when me and my friends try to play pool, some random lady yells at us and kicks us out. Then this afternoon when I got my food, it was the worst thing I ever tasted. Imagine eating a raw chicken with shit as the sauce. Later on, I heard that one of the waiter's sneezed on my burger and even put tomatoes on it. PS: I'm allergic to tomatoes. Never go here unless you want a shit burger. read more

Come here to drink beer, but I don't recommend ordering food. I had Maryland crab and it was not freshly cooked -- just reheated leftovers. Uncool. Also the outside benches are cut for people with eighteen-inch legs. All others will have to sit uncomfortably close to the ground. read more

This place is such a hidden gem it's set up like a food hall. These are becoming extremely popular in the area and this is the main bar so every other place are mom and pop restaurants where you can order food however for all alcohol orders you must go through hoppers. It is a pretty big space to be located in a food hall with plenty of barstools. One thing I love was the price tag for two glasses of Chardonnay Was $13. I cannot get that anywhere unless I'm home so for that alone, I will definitely return. I also enjoyed that I didn't have to suffer through my child, wanting chicken tenders and fries or pizza I was able to go to the Cantina that was also in the food hall. This is a "food court" if you will-bar, pizza place, sushi place, burger place, and "bar food" place that share a space. There is a large indoor eating area. Outdoor seating too. You sit where you want. Drinks were a bit pricey, but we all enjoyed our time. Music is way too loud. This is advertised as a bar/restaurant area, not a nightclub. Will come back due to decent food and close proximity, but no where I'd religiously go to with friends. read more

Aloha when in town we love stopping in at 1400. A great venue of to-go restaurants with a bar. Open air common area to enjoy your meal & beverage in tiki-bar setting, nice. They periodically have music on the lanai which brings in the fun neighbors as well as college crowd. Today we had a nice cold IPA lot 3 of Evo brew, yum in nice air-condition bar. Like beer?? This is the spot in Salisbury with plenty of lagers, sours, ales, wheats, IPA's (my favorite) and more. It has an open environment with lots of TV's to watch your sport. The service is very friendly and even better it is a veteran owned business. They don't serve food but there is an entire foodcourt which serves items from pizza to sushi where you can get food and you can take you food in or take your beer out to the open air court. There is a stage so I am sure they have bands on some nights. read more

Glad I didn't read the previous reviews before coming here. We are here with good friends of ours who live across the street. This is the second time here with them and so far it does NOT disappoint! The variety of beers, first, is the best part about here. They offer probably fifty beers on tap and many from local breweries, which we thoroughly enjoy. The atmosphere is my other favorite part. There is a large outdoor/indoor patio that gets garage-door'd in when it's too hot out. They have two corn hole games, large fans and misters, too. The way it works is that you order food from one of the places attached to the beer garden/bar (personal pizzas, subs, wings or BBQ) and then you sit outside or in the bar. You order your food, sit down, then receive a text when your food is ready. You grab the food, sit, drink and eat! The food is definitely chain-style food, but for what it is the quality is good. First time here I had the pizza- really good! Variety of toppings and wood fired oven made for a crispy, tasty pizza. Today we got BBQ with brisket, ribs, baked beans and fries. Two of us split it all ($22). The smoked flavor of the meats was awesome! The brisket was a little dry, but it's a chain so you can't expect and homemade experience. The fires were giant potato swirls that were crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. Service has been polite, friendly, prompt and enjoyable! Everyone from the bar keep to the general manager to the service at the BBQ place has been nothing but pleasant. We've been checked on in the bar area a few times, but nothing overwhelming. Nice middle ground. Give this place a try!! I think it's by far NOT the worst place in Salisbury, it's NOT a mess at all. Highly recommend! Good food, good beer, good vibes. Let me start by saying how much I generally enjoy coming to Hoppers. When Crystal or Zack are bartending there are few better places to go. Without them, this would be a zero star rating. But there is a huge issue with Kennedy the bartender. She is the worst bartender I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. She does not pay attention to customers, gets drunk behind the bar and is more focused on socializing and cranking up the music than providing service. I understand she is the owner's daughter, so there likely won't be anything done to her until her liver fails. Unfortunately, she has rubbed off on a lot of the servers and they have gotten lazy, mostly because she lets this happen (and really encourages it). The most recent thing--they have added a small room between the main bar and the BBQ joint. Kennedy now gathers the staff in there and they do shots while they ignore customers. Don't go here for the service if Kennedy is working! She is terrible! read more

PLEASE FRIENDS, take the time to read this post (I know it's long), but don't waste your time at Hopper's! Okay...so my daughter and I had planned a date to Hoppers with our doggies like we have done so many times in the past. We both anticipated it and I have to say what an awful, disappointing time we had ...we will NEVER go back to HOPPERS!!! So we got there, got seated and waited for at least 10 minutes without someone acknowledging that we may want to order a drink. There were at least 3 male Hoppers servers and NONE of them bothered to ask to serve us. (we were seated right next to their register/station) After I placed our food order, my daughter got our drinks from the bar because we obviously were not being served by the Hoppers staff. Meanwhile, there were a couple of times that our dogs barked and we were able to quiet them quickly each time. There were also other occasional barks from the other 2 dogs that we encountered. While we were eating and the dogs had been quiet, one of the servers that previously ignored us came to tell us that the Manager said if the dogs continue to bark, that we would have to leave. We said okay and did our best to enjoy the rest of our meal and drinks. The more I thought about it, the more I felt the manager needed to know the poor service that we "received" and asked to speak to the manager. Here is where it gets good!! A young woman walks up to us and just stands there. I ask if she is the manager to which she replies, yes. I started by apologizing for the dogs barking and then proceeded to share my concerns about the lack of attention from the servers. (NOT ONE asked us if we wanted to order a drink.) Rather than apologizing, she continued to focus on the fact that she had asked the server to tell us and it was not his fault. So be it! We were not upset with any particular server, just that we were not being served. After she repeatedly mentioned "she can't have dogs barking," I could see that we were getting nowhere, so in exasperation I said to her ,I am a manager myself and this isn't right. I suggested that they need to find a new manager to which she replies, (and I kid you not.....) "I think you should get new dogs") I mean what the actual hell????? Needless to say, one of our favorite spots is no longer on the table as we will NOT go back to this "so called" dog friendly establishment with the most immature female manager I have ever encountered. copied from my Facebook post! Best bar in SBY hands down. Hard to explain, really have to visit to get the full experience. Essentially the bar is part of a food court with many other classy joints. Main area is all glass with palm trees, corn hole, and picnic style tables. read more

This is a bar in the "strip mall of restaurants" the bar is like any other sports bar with a large selection of beer. Food is not supplied there as there are multiple restaurants around it. While their fancy, pre-printed wall-mounted menu no longer contains many of the beers advertised, they do have a large selection on menus that are handed out. All in all, not terrible but, frankly nothing really special. The beer is cold the place is reasonably clean and the bartenders were friendly. read more

Such a great concept; large closed glass atrium seating that lets you feel like you are outside even when the weather isn't cooperating. Multiple restaurants to choose from offering a great variety, with the tap-house serving a huge selection of beer and wine at the bar or right to your table. The entertainment is always great too, offering a variety from music bingo, to all different genres of live performers and also a great place to watch sporting events with large TVs for football, MMA and more. With the variation of food and entertainment there is always a good mix of people from young to old, everyone has a great time, definitely a place you can take your coworkers for happy hour or just go out with friends or family for dinner, drinks and a great time! If you are out of state & we're not born & raised in Maryland, I recommend that you do not step foot in hoppers because they will demolish your real ID. Me & my friend from NJ went to hoppers last night to get a beer & ended up leaving with a bent & broken ID. The server took my friends ID, gave it to her "manager" & threw it back at us with no explanation !!! Without even scanning or asking verification questions they just bent & ruined her ID. I will never come back to this establishment that have no experience or training on how to look at real IDS & other states besides their own. read more

Bar itself isn't terrible, but the service is just god awful. I ordered a Corona extra bottle beer and it took 30-45 minutes for the waitress to bring it to me. This has happened to me multiple times in going there; service is painfully slow. read more

During a softball tournament our team decided to meet up for dinner here. It was an easy place to bring our tweens that gave them fun food options and games to play such as corn hole. There is no air conditioning and only half the fans were working the day we were there which made for a very hot dinner. It was actually cooler outside the doors. Hoppers is a wonderfully run establishment with great beer, tasty food, and a unique atmosphere. There is a massive glass-enclosed pavilion where you eat, drink, and play corn hole. Attached to the pavilion is Hoppers the bar plus all the food businesses. There is pizza, wings, BBQ, and more. Hoppers runs an extensive beer list of pretty much all local breweries. Tons of seating for large groups. Live music many weekends. Parking can be tight but you can park at TCBY or on the street nearby. read more

What a great idea and unique place. I love the atmosphere and the live music they provide. Hoppers has so many beer options and I love that they support our local brewers. Bartenders were very polite and knowledgeable about the beer they are selling. If you get hungry while having a drink you're not limited to bar food. Wow! What a new creative and A breath of fresh air for Salisbury! Where do I start, with the food establishments A+!!!! I have enjoyed meals from each Business in here. Pricewise from high to low, but I guarantee you it's worth every penny, no matter which one you go to!! Smokin' BBQ is my favorite, so much so I had them cater my last party, not the cheapest place in town, but you get what you pay for, and plan on using them again, and I'd recommend to anybody have an office party, holiday party, or just a party to use this catering service!! Now for Hoppers..... Beer lovers dream Amazing 40 local craft beers on tap, 40!!!! Staff was so nice and inviting, smiles on everybody's face, when packed for UFC fight I waited less than five minutes for drink! Mind you I was sitting outside, not in the bar I had a server. This is not been a one-time experience for me, I go there a lot. I cannot say enough about this place, it is a must go to, i've never been anywhere like this!! So as a follow-up, I'm left here scratching my head, about previous reviews. With one of the reviews, the language that was used, makes me feel as if the staff/management was not the issue in this case, but yet The Falmouth person that posted that. I cannot take someone serious when they talk like that, it seems like a bitter customer that was not bowed down to my staff. Not sure but just saying. Not from the area so I'm not familar with other bars and what they offer. So if this is the worst place in Salisbury then that town is the definition of perfection. This place was great. Clean, servers were polite and the beer was on point. I was never left with an empty glass. You got food and live entertainment in the common area, you can't ask for much more.
