This place is a hidden gem located in the Fenwick Inn. My fiancé and I arrived as the sun was setting and the views were beautiful. You have the best of both worlds with views of both the bay and ocean from almost any seat in the restaurant. We started off with an order of the house bread, which was some of the best bread I've ever had. For entrees, my fiancé and I split the 14 oz. New York strip and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and we loved the heaping of melted butter that came on the steak. The Caesar salad was just okay. There were quite a few brown lettuce pieces, which wasn't great. Overall, it was a nice dinner and we'll definitely be back for happy hour to try more of the menu.

Food and drinks are so good here. With a few tweaks, it could be a five-star restaurant. We had an appetizer dip with mushrooms, crabmeat and spinach. It arrived with a generous dozen slices of baguette. Really different & really good. Hubby had a special pasta dish of rigatoni with shredded pork, broccoli rabe, and provolone (echoing the Philly sandwich). This was pretty good but in desperate need of seasoning; the pasta (sitting in some sort of broth) was rather plain, as was the pork. I had a special rare-cooked tuna over basmati rice and what they call duxelle veggies. Beautifully presented, the tuna was melt-in-your-mouth tender. We enjoyed a lemon crush and their version of a dirty martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives. The place is decorated nicely with lovely views but crazy loud! We were supposed to dine with another couple; I'm glad they canceled at the last minute because conversation would have been very difficult. Then there are the doors leading to outside dining: every time a server went out or back in, they closed with a loud BANG. Every. Time. BANG BANG BANG throughout the meal. We'll return to Vista for the food, but not for a group dinner with friends. Unless you're comfortable shouting to each other all evening.

Still enjoying this spot! Great food. Great sunset view. Good service. Always come when we're at the beach! :)

I was searching for a great espresso martini to start off the evening in OC and trusted my fellow Yelp squad--and was glad I did! The espresso martini was fantastic and the outdoor rooftop seating was fun for a drink. The vibes are cute!

Sat at the bar for nfl specials. Nothing really special- definitely not drinks. Flatbread is supposed to have prosciutto. See pic. When have you ever seen think cut ??? Flavorless, inconsistent thickness, just looks far better then it tastes. Bar area and drinks for a high end restaurant is much more low grade smirnoff(seriously)? I did question the prosciutto (similar to another review where the questioned the rice in the risotto). Just poor quality

We came to this restaurant at the recommendation of my daughter who recently visited with some friends. We love appetizers so we decided to make this an appetizer only night! We ordered a Caesar salad. It was nicely, dressed with not too many croutons and the lettuce was fresh. We had Bonocini- which is their version of mozzarella sticks. They could have been hotter as the cheese wasn't totally melted it inside as well as on the outside. The marinara sauce was full of flavor. We ordered the special which was the tenderloin Crostini. This was our favorite! It had so much steak and it included mushrooms, onions, and a flavorful sauce on top of the crostini. We also got the Ahi tuna Poké bowl, which was so fresh and flavorful that we were fighting over it! Another favorite was tsunami wontons which was lobster and crab over wontons. It was delicious! The calamari was crispy and flavorful. The dipping sauce was really good as well. The surface was a little slow, so therefore the reason for the four stars. Otherwise, the food makes it a five star restaurant! The view of both the bay and the ocean was an added bonus. It was worth the drive from Rehoboth Beach. We will definitely try this when we are in town again!

Vista Rooftop deserves a shout out. The decor is modern coastal and cozy; the view of the ocean is fabulous; and the food was yummy. We sat at the bar and had cocktails with salmon wontons and cheesesteak eggrolls. Our bartender Brandon was very personable and made a well balanced Manhattan (IYKYK). We will return!

Situated on 138th Street on the top floor of the Fenwick Inn is the bar and restaurant. I found it a bit dated looking and unlike the pictures online. There were 2 bartenders serving the night we went one which was very attentive and another that walked past my empty cocktail glass three or four times without asking if I wanted another. That triggered my decision to move on. The expresso martini that I was having was in fact very delicious and one of the best ones I ever had. All of the cocktails that were being made looked very good. I will have to go back to try their jalapeño margarita and hopefully they will have better service.

SUCH a cute vibe! Totally unexpected! We happened across this place because it is located on the rooftop of the place we stayed in (Fenwick Inn). We were coming back to our room after checking out a bar/tavern across the street and thought we'd stop by for a drink or two. Walking in off the elevator, you are greeted by a cute "Good Vibes Only" sign. You walk into a huge open space with seating for dining and the bar. The decor makes you feel like you're in an upscale/trendy restaurant/bar. Very cute. We decided to sit at the bar. Here's what we got: - Smoked Old Fashioned: my husband ordered this and thoroughly enjoyed it. They serve it to you right before they take the smoker off, so it's a nice little treat to see. He said it had a great balance of the smokiness, sweetness, and bitters. - Lavender Haze: I will say that the lavender taste wasn't as prevalent as I would've liked, but it was still a good drink. And strong too! - Lemon Drop Martini: this drink was not as sweet as I would've like and extremely lemon-y! Tasted like straight vodka and lemon and no sweetness. It wasn't bad, but not what I'm used to in lemon drops. I will say it did taste refreshing lol. - Manhattan - exactly what you'd expect from a Manhattan. Gets straight to the point, no sugar coating or cutting corners. Delicious. The bartenders were very nice and attentive, even though it was busy and close to closing time. We did not feel forgotten or rushed at all. Overall, cute vibe, decent drinks, and good service. This would be a cool place for a date night or just a night out with friends.

Good afternoon! I'm looking to take my family here one night during our stay in OC, what is the price range looking like?

Prices range from about $18 all the way up to $30+ for specials. From the bar, crushes are about $12 and martinis are about $16. The menu is online so you can see specific prices.

It had a strange chunky texture and looked a bit oily. Taste was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. The rest of our food was a little more successful: a trio of seafood, some lobster sliders, a mozz and tomato salad, and fried cauliflower were all decent. Truffle fries were another miss. Five of our plates came out together, and we had to chase the waiter down for the last one. I have a feeling he's still learning, so we cut him some slack. I don't know if I'd return - none of the food was outstanding - maybe just for drinks outside overlooking the bay.

Wow, thats what I've got for you folks wow…read more Lets start with ambiance, its cute here i loved it. Its a small, quaint little downstairs with more space upstairs. The decor is spot on, just so nice all around! Let's go on to the service. I'm going to shout out Caleb he was great all around very attentive. Answered all my annoying questions haha. Really fantastic. The wait times for food were just right, didn't take too long but didn't rush you. So now for me to talk way too much. OH MY GOD THE FOOD! This is easily the best food I've had in southern delaware. Hands down, full stop. I got a blackened catfish over a red beet salad. The fish was fresh! Yes fresh in February I'm impressed. The blackened seasoning was so good, just spicy enough to make me smile but not too spicy to be unpleasant. Flaky and perfectly cooked I was not disappointed in any way or another. How about the salad? Well, it was a kale salad which I'm not normally a fan of. But the elements of the salad were perfect, the toasted walnuts, the beets, apples, just everything about married in flawless harmony. Even my mother-in-law agreed the kale salad was great. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want to call it this was an out of the park experience! Drinks, a new addition to my review this week haha. The bar tenders do a "great pour" per my wife and father-in-law. Me, I stick with non-alcoholic and oh man they nailed that too. This is just all good, like whole thing is great. Thank you for an awesome lunch, keep rolling folks!

I will summarize my two most recent family dinners here during the Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends: Marlene took our 5:30 PM dinner reservation over the phone. I was here with my family of nine including two children for Friday night dinner after Thanksgiving day upstairs at a corner table. I started with my spicy margarita for $14. We also shared a bottle of Duckhorn Decoy Brut champagne for $52, which was reduced down to $26 by 50% off due to Friday 50% off on all wine bottles. The Decoy brut champagne was excellent. We also shared and enjoyed the crab dip for $21. We also shared and enjoyed three dozen raw oysters samplers for a total of $81. I also enjoyed my crispy duck confit special with pappardelle, basil pesto, fried onion and garlic chilli vinaigrette for $32. My total bill was $455 excluding gratuity. Morelia C. (nicknamed Mo) served us very well as usual despite us having two children. We first met Mo, when she bartended at the downstairs bar, when we were here prior for many Sunday afternoon happy hours. We returned here again with my larger family of 14 including five children for dinner on the Saturday after Christmas. We had a 5:30 PM dinner reservation. We were again seated immediately upstairs. I started with and enjoyed my two Makers Mark Manhattans up for $15 each. We also shared and enjoyed two dozen raw oysters samplers for $27 per dozen. We also ordered and enjoyed one dozen of the more expensive Raspberry Points for $48. Raspberry Point Oysters are premium, cold-water farmed oysters from Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada, prized for their firm meat, distinct briny flavor with a sweet finish, and deep cups, taking 5-7 years to mature in New London Bay's tidal waters. They're known for being easy to shuck and popular in gourmet settings due to their consistent quality and appealing salty-sweet profile. We also shared the calamari for $17 and the devilled eggs for $19. I also enjoyed my confit lamb shank for $38. Caleb M. served us very well despite us having five children. My total bill was $737 excluding gratuity. Caleb applied our Indian River High School band 10% discount to our bill, which reduced the total from $737 down to $663 excluding gratuity. On Sunday's our favorite bartender is Nick C. Nick said hello, when we visited during the Thanksgiving holiday. We will continue to return here with family and friends for happy hour, lunch or dinner.
