We had 4 people in our party but the tour total was about 25 people & by the end of the tour we had gotten to know everyone and were all friends. At least half of our tour were locals from NY which right off the bat was a great sign this isn't your typical touristy thing. Such a great activity to do with out of town friends b/c It feels like a local secret, you learn a lot about the history of beer in NYC, and you drink a lot of tasty beer. We went on the Express Tour. I cannot wait to go on the regular tour next time!

The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. A bar seat eventually opened up but I was already on my second drink by then. Definitely make reservations if you're planning a visit!

We had no one go over the wines, maybe briefly at the second winery. At the cider place had the guy that worked there go over it in under 60 seconds. Its not the people working, its the organizer. This was a family trip celebrating and it was just embaressing. Poor execution, DO NOT RECOMMEND. The pictures of happy groups/people are absolutely cherry picked to make the experience seem more than it actually is.

You have a great driver, Kevin, who is very knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and most of all patient to put up with all our drunken shenanigans during this past weekend's Yelp Beer Bus event. The bus itself is clean, comfortable, and has both a tv and dock for playing your Ipod's. It's a great way to get around and taste a lot of beer without having to worry about getting a DWI ! Kevin knows all the routes to some of the best local breweries, and is a big craft beer guy himself. They do many beer tasting events on LI and around the local NY area and have packages available for group trips, or shorter shuttles to the local brew tastings. Check out the website for upcoming beer events and rates. To me, it's totally worth the cost to enjoy a worry free, and safe day, rather than drinking and driving. We hit up Great South Bay, Long Ireland, and Port Jeff Brewing Company. That last stop in Port Jeff on a terrific spring day was just perfect to try some beers and then wander around the town for a bite to eat before heading back to the train station to drop us off. Kevin has a great little biz here that I wholeheartedly endorse. I have had a few opportunities to join a Beerspoke Travel itinerary, and every trip was filled with memorable (even after the many beer samples), distinctive (since the experiences were tailored to the local beer scene), and varied experiences (with walking brewery crawls, festivals, and behind-the-scenes tours). I made new friends, I drank fantastic beers, I learned so much more about the brewing industry, I threw some axes, and I got the chance to explore a few great cities. I'll certainly be watching Beerspoke's calendar of upcoming trips to find a new city to explore with a beer in hand.

Experience is as excellent as last time with beverages and snacks for purchase. If you enjoy fall colors, great scenery and boats then you have to do this at least once.
