Did the urine test and came back negative. Was essentially sent on my way and was told it was a strain. A day later (today as i write this) i wokeup with severe pain and continued blood in urine. Went to the ER. Ultra sound was fine and urine test came back as double infection. So not sure why it didn't yesterday... Wasted a few bucks, time, and a day of pain for essentially nothing. Wouldn't come back based off of that.

Carol came and talked about all the benefits of massage - things I never knew about! I was definitely a person who has never been interested in massage therapy and knew nothing about it. She blew me away with her knowledge! Through my pregnancy when I started getting towards the end I learned that through all of my lifting and workouts I had made my body really tight and not necessarily prepared for childbirth. I quickly booked a massage at a local, corporate massage place and instantly regretted it. The person had no idea how to massage a pregnant person and was basically doing a typical massage on a pregnancy table. That's when I contacted Carol and set up an appt with her. From the moment I walked in I could tell this experience would be different. She has such a calm demeanor and instantly put me at ease. Her room is calming and smells wonderful! She knew all about different oils to use, pressure points and different massage techniques to do at different stages of pregnancy. I had done a lot of research on these things and she was talking about all of it before I mentioned a thing! She is very cutting-edge in her training, but that is backed with years of experience. I have never felt so confident in someone's expertise and ability in a long time. The massage itself was so relaxing and everything I needed at the time. I saw her a handful of times leading up to my pregnancy and she was awesome about fitting me in when I had time to come see her. It was honestly the best part of the last weeks of my pregnancy and I wish I had gone to her sooner. My body felt great, I felt more relaxed, my mental state was better, and it was just some great "me" time before the baby came. She would even talk to me about massages to do and pressure points to engage to help with some of the problems I was having. Shortly after clearing FDA approval and Beta testing, and just before endocrinologists began incorporating it into practice, he introduced us to LED light treatment. I do not know if it deserves credit apart from nutrition and chiropractic care or in conjunction with them, but two benefits are now evident: improved speed of healing and freaky keen night vision like I have never had in life before. There I was, in my early 20s, and he was suggesting that I wear orthopedic shoes to solve my back problems! EXCUSE ME?? No, sorry. How about we try some physical therapy first, mkay? Also, he would literally run into the room to adjust me, and then run back out as soon as he was finished. One time I had a question about something and actually had to say "hey, wait - come back!" I don't know...I guess if you're in your 60s, don't care about your footwear, and are living out near him he's probably ok. Other than that, don't waste your time. There are much better chiropractors in the Chicagoland area.
