Happy Easter, Yelp followers. If you are able to read the suggestions from Aaron Joseph ( owner) of Horizon Auto. He is not clear of what I want. All I asked for is quality sound from low to high volume levels. I made a point to let his sales team know I didn't care about subs. That I wanted to over power the brother parked next to me with his boom booms. After 8 visits and more than 20 of my hours wasted they have still missed the mark. They suggested a DPS inline converter possibly starting at $499 for something decent. Or a head unit which they don't know after spending 20 hrs with me will solve my dissatisfied results. WTF unfortunately have to pay back $3000.00 before moving to a new vendor. read more

Worth the two-hour drive for me. My car's NAV screen started to d-Lamanite and the dealer wanted a lot to replace the screen. and said the car could not be upgraded to apple car play. Horizon Audio replaced the NAV screen, Head unit (gave me a faster computer, new operating system, car play, BMW apps, ...) all for the same price the dealer wanted for just the screen replacement. Work done faster than expected (BMW moved the appointment forward) and quoted price. Tint is competitively priced and is still looking flawless a year later, audio equipment is about on par/overpriced with the market but they are more than willing to price match big box stores (for me it was Best Buy and crutchfield). Every time I go I work with judah and he makes the hour round trip worth it every time! read more

These guys are just awesome. They don't try to up sell you like every other place. Their customer service is wonderful and genuine. It's obvious that they care about the customer getting everything they need in the most efficient way. I had a pioneer deck installed in February and the auxiliary port totally crapped out on me last month. Now, they could've said "Sorry 'bout your luck-here's what we can sell you." But they didn't. They took the time to make sure I was happy and sent the defective deck back to the manufacturer. I will be a customer for life! read more

I have a 2016 Cadillac ATS with a QUE screen problem. The touch scree was froze. Its a common problem on 2013 to about 2018 ATS cars. Horizon ordered the correct part and installation was fast. If your looking for a place to belittle and disrespect you. Look no farther!! The service I received from Tyler and Nate was the most disrespectful thing I have ever had to deal with. They think just because I am a women I have no idea what I am talking about. They took my car to do a SIMPLE... so I thought was a simple fix to my system. Got my car back, and started having issues. Took back to horizon and they told me it's lucky my car didn't catch on fire. Really. So they almost let me car catch on fire!!! So they fixed that issue... so they said.. for the system to now be draining my car battery. But no.... it's my battery that's the issue.. smh.. auto zone tested my battery and said it is perfectly fine. How can a company that "specializes" in sound.. not know what they are doing. To a Simple. Simple fix to a system that was installed by horizon a year ago. My first mistake was getting my system installed by them. When I called to check on the status of my car, to hear again it is my battery... I couldn't believe it. I refused to believe this is the issue. Nate straight laughed at me via the phone. I will never be using horizon ever again. I suggest you don't as well, for the fear Nate might laugh at you via the phone as well. read more

I tried this place based on a recommendation from Lexus of Akron/ Canton. The guy on the phone was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They were booked out almost a month for Saturday appointments, so I took the next available one, Dec 6. I asked how long it takes for a remote start install & he said that they usually take about 4 hours, but it's really busy this time of year and he tells everyone to drop their car off at 9 & it'll be done by 5. Maybe earlier, but they'll call to let you know if that's the case. I show up on the 6th & they don't have my appointment booked. They finally find it on Wed Dec 3rd. They had typed it in wrong. I know everyone is probably thinking "Well, either of you could have been wrong. I guess so, except that I live in North Akron & work in Cleveland. I would never make an appt in canton for a work day & also he told me that it would be done by 5pm when they close. They only close at 5 pm on Saturdays. They're open later during the week. Also, if my appointment was for Wednesday the 3rd, why didn't they call me when I didn't show up? If they called me at that point, even if I couldn't have gotten in on December 6th, I wouldn't have wasted 90 minutes round trip driving there & back today. No "sorry for any inconvenience" or anything like that, the guy just says "We need to reschedule you. We're now booking for Dec 27th." You guys just messed up my last appointment. A sorry would have been nice, or a "Hey, we're scheduling out for the 27th, but let's see if we can squeeze you in earlier" or anything like that. As I was leaving one of the other workers said "If you want to leave your car, we can try to get to it . We're booked solid, so no guarantees." At that point it was thanks but no thanks. Who knows, they might do phenomenal work, but their scheduling and customer service are sub-standard. It's not like they offer a unique service, car audio places are everywhere. The only reason I drove all the way down here was due to the recommendation from Lexus. read more

Great price on getting an AUX cable put in. Everyone I dealt with on the phone, at the desk and working on my BMW were extremely professional. They had me in and out in no time and everything works great. Parking lot could use some work but that's everywhere in ohio. Will be going back to get all my work down here for car audio items. read more

Had them install my kenwood head unit the new car I bought had no back door speakers or wiring ran through the the back doors put a nice set of kenwood speakers in the back doors I used to do all of my own installation until I seen the process of getting the steering wheel controls hooked up very nice install sounds awesome and the customer service is incredible iam going back in the near future to get the windows tinted and have a remote start installed since winter is coming to be able to have a nice warm Ride thanks again Jim w. Had work done on 3rd vehicle in 4 or 5 years. Previous times had no problems. This time however, I won't return. Had my 4Runner in for a head unit, back up camera and they knocked out one of my center console dash lights during the install. I brought it back the next day and Xandr first tried to tell me it was just a bulb and it was my problem, these things happen. I then told them no, it was working when I dropped it off and when I picked it up, it wasn't. That means that while you were in the dash, something happened. I need to know is it just a bulb, was a wire cut, pulled out or what? They finally agreed to schedule to look at it a few days later. Then say I'm all done, it was just the bulb and try charging me for replacing the bulb. They never said they were going to charge me for the bulb or anything until it was all done. I NEVER gave any go ahead to fix it, I was after information. Told them this, they said "so, here's the bill". I explained that was not good customer service, the manager (Moose) then interrupted the sales associate and said "You know what, I'll pay it" I explained that anytime you take your car to anyone, if they break something on it, it is their responsibility to fix it and you can't try to charge someone for something they NEVER authorized them to fix. I was then told to "have a nice day". Between the lousy attitude of the manager and lack of actual customer service for a repeat customer, I'll be taking my cars elsewhere. read more
