We were told that they lost their contract and were getting a new one. With that new contract our price went up to $120 dollars. 2 weeks later internet went done again. A new sim card arrived that was suppose to be active, it wasn't. Called and his response was "Oh the activation number was one off". I will get this fixed asap. Well folks that was several days ago. He does not respond to texts and has not answered or returned voicemails....I hope you see this Todd. You sir are scum!!!!!!

I am the last out of five families I referred to to still have internet through this company! (BTW never received any referral credit which is promised) That should tell you all you need to know. Anyways, I have had Clyirtel since March 2020 and it started off fantastic and I was so happy to have great internet in a very rural area where options are next to none. But, after a few months issues would arise where the SIM cards would just suddenly stop working and the internet would be out, and when I say out I mean for DAYS at a minimum... We were told to purchase an extender which was a few hundred dollars, & honestly I saw no change in signal quality. Anyways, the outages were an intermittent issue, and for the most part 2020 was a good run. Fast forward to the very end of December 2020 through the beginning of 2021 and I was without internet for over TWENTY days! I was not reimbursed or credited on my account for the extreme inconvenience, and I was straight up ignored for days upon days when I tried reaching out to resolve the issue. I did finally get services back up and running mid January, and I honestly didn't have any problems again until June of 2021 where I was out for a week. I was on vacation so it wasn't a big deal. But, here I am again in October out for multiple days and I get the same BS response... I have missed work multiple times since I work from home & I am finally DONE with Clyirtel. I wanted to support small business which is why I stayed as long as I did, but I just can't deal with it anymore. Don't promise to call someone back by said time and NEVER do it, don't promise fantastic services when it's RARELY working properly, and don't IGNORE your customer's calls texts & concerns! Very unprofessional, not to mention it enrages the already annoyed customer! Maybe he will hire more people and finally get this "company" headed in the right direction. He claims to have different departments and people that he has to go through to resolve issues, but I have made what seems like a million calls to only ever speak to the SAME individual every time! We've all heard that saying "you're getting too big for your britches" and that is definitely the case here! A year ago I recommended everyone to use their services, now I recommend everyone to stay away!

    Horrible horrible service , since it changed to vtx 1 . Have been with them 12 years , Feb only had…read moremaybe a week of service. No prorated service. It was thier fault . Waited on the phone for hours to speak to someone. Or tried the call back because they were so busy that did not happen, they moved two buildings down and was never notified of a change of address.. don't go with them. Close out my service today, would not prorate me, had to pay for the whole month of march.

    I had the RS 25MB plan for 4 years on a 4K TV and 2 computers and could never stream 1080P video…read morereliably without buffering, even when it worked. The employees were great and tried their best on several occasions to improve the service with what they had. I received the advertised speed fairly often but it was not stable enough to stream. Latency ranged from the double digits to 500-700ms. I might get 25MB\sec one time and 2MB the next. It was like paying $88 for a tank of gas and only getting 5 gallons, but there was nothing I could do but suck it up and hope for something better next month. Frequent outages were frustrating. Some were brief and some were long but I had them weekly. Rain? Forget it. The slightest rain would result in rain fade and full loss of connectivity until it had passed. It's the norm with line of sight technology but it's aggravating. If you live close to one of their towers you probably wouldn't notice. I was maybe 3 miles away with good signal strength. Don't buy the story that 25 megs won't stream. It's the minimum needed for 4K and more than enough for 1080p unless you have several data hungry devices in the home. I now have 30MB from a local competitor and 4K video streams like water with two computers surfing YouTube. Latency is in the 20's. I give a ton of credit to the employees for trying but the trouble was beyond their reach. I hope RS can get their problems resolved. Competition is healthy.
