He gave me a sleeve for my leg and told me to start wearing compression socks. He charged me over 100 bucks (that was after my insurance). I went back for a follow-up and he had me wait for an hour - just for a five minute chat where he said "We really can't do anything for you," Then he had the assistant strap some plastic things to my feet with ace bandages. I told her it hurt and she said - no it's okay. I said, "No. This really hurts." She pretended to shift it then she left me alone in the room. After all was said and done - that cost me another hundred - after my insurance and my leg still has not been healed or treated. This place is a rip off. Stay away from there. Find a Boy Scout who needs a first aid badge. He is better than this fraud Anderson. Truly the worst.

Pay very close attention to your billing statement and what they are charging you specially for self pays client's & also what is billed to your insurance for. I am a self pay and I have several times said Do Not bill my old insurance. They did it anyway. And we agreed to a lesser charge for a boot, but now Im billed again full price. On top of that. I'm billed $1800 for a diagnosis only. No treatment, no surgery, no meds, no shot, no tape or bandage, just x-ray's (also billed separate for). $900 each just for Dr to SAY, I have 2 fractures= $1800. Dr's, great care. They have no control of billing or so Im told. So its the establishment and billing that really manipulates and over bills the insurance and patients. So done w over billings and manipulation.

It was her tenacity in figuring out what the issues were for many of moms medical issues that ultimately led to mom having a much better quality of life for the last 4 years. They collect our money and do nothing to get to the cause of her pain. They use fraudulent billing practices. She was billed for seeing a specialist when she saw a nurse practitioner (not even a doctor). Now after being told that AMITA will fix the billing errors we received a notice from their collection agency. My wife has moved on to a new health organization of which has pinpointed the root cause of her pain an has her on the road to recovery within 2 weeks. AMITA health should be ashamed of themselves. They are not there to help us but rather just take our money. This is related to Elk Grove Location.

I understand hospitals can be busy, but basic updates and attention to patients go a long way. The level of care I received did not meet expectations. I've been in the emergency room for about two hours with my 80-year-old mother, and unfortunately, the environment has been far from what I remember. Staff members were openly using profanity and engaging in inappropriate conversations within earshot of patients. It was uncomfortable and honestly disheartening--especially for someone of my mother's age to have to sit and listen to. I've been coming here for over 40 years, and I never expected to see such a decline in professionalism. As someone who works in the medical field, I understand how demanding these environments can be, but maintaining a respectful and appropriate atmosphere should always be a priority. This experience was upsetting, and I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously. I will be following up further regarding this concern. I guess this is the quality that Loyola is now, such a disappointment. The only thing I can say positive is the chaplain who came down with kindness and compassion.
