Their artisan products are hand made daily and show case a deeply-rooted passion for how food should be made using high quality ingredients! You can bring any size pot to fill by the scoop or purchase menudo by the cup ( small or large) comes with two pieces of pan blanco. If you swing by on a weekend make sure to come early because this place is known to sell out before noon on Saturday's /Sundays. Their service is quick & efficient you wait in line to be served. I'd rather rate ZERO stars but that's not an option. My sister in law bought my brother's retirement cake from this place based on a recommendation from a co-worker and NEVER again. The fondant looked like they just threw the cake together literally right before we got there to pick it up. You could see creases in the fondant and a crack between two of the three layered cake. It was done very poorly. My sis in law cried when she brought the cake home. I told her, it looked fine because I did not want to ruin the day of my brother's retirement party. We placed the cake directly in the fridge until it was time to transport it to the party venue in 3 hours. 3 hours later, we transferred the cake to the car to head to the venue and the second tier appeared tilted. We didn't think about it but by the time we made the 7 min drive to the venue, the cake completely crumbled and there was no way we would display it like that. My sis in law reached out to the owner who asked if our fridge was working? LOL This is a joke of a bakery: Do NOT buy any specialty cakes, at least tiered cakes from this place. How this place got so many good reviews is beyond me. Maybe it's the pastry but the food is sub-Par. I had a Burrito, small for $3.00, which had way too spices and my wife had a tough burrito which was too hot. Between a coke and coffee and those two Burritos the bill came to $11.00. We were looking for an Exxon to use with our fuel card and found this place by mere luck. This place is 7 minutes off I-10 and it is well worth the visit. They have homemade pan dulce that smells and tastes superb, burritos that will knock your socks off and a menudo that is legendary. The locals bring in their own pot so that hey can enjoy it at home. Last time I will EVER be supporting this local bakery. It's always been overpriced but it's A close walking distance to my home. The food is always very greasy. If you need something to clean out your stomach this place is what to eat to do it. Menudo is oily but it's what my cousin wanted. So now masks are now mandatory to walk in and order food. I didn't have one so I asked if I could purchase one they said no. I walked from my home and must have dropped it on my way it's a 10 minutes stroll so I would have had to walk back home just for a mask. I never asked them to just give me one I offered to buy one just to be able to walk in and order take out food. They refused. If a place requires you to wear a mask then they should have some for sale. I stood there in the bakery and asked if they could just let me order over the phone and I could pay them. The guy said no, I asked if I can pay and have them just deliver it to be outside and this guy said no. At this point all the staff started to ignored me. I don't know why, I wasn't yelling or causing a problem I just didn't have a mask and just wanted the food and I was going to leave. This isn't political at all. Thing is I know they heard me because even the guys in the back kitchen came to the front and looked out at me. I said excuse me at least 3 more times and they ignored me. So, I walked out to the front and another customer came out and offered to give me a mask but after looking she didn't have an extra one in her car. I explained I was so embarrassed and she offered to get the food for me. I debated on just going elsewhere but my cousin from out of town wanted menudo, I had already walked there and would have to walk home empty handed. And to be honest at this point I really should have just walked away and not supported them. But this kind woman offered to help me and I didn't want to walk away after all this. So I gave her my pot (yes you have to take your own pot for menudo) and $20 cash which now that I really think of it.... so I was refused service because I didn't have a mask and the entire mask thing is because of covid so why are they taking a customers pot & lids and also cash.... isn't that cross contamination?! Well, either way I truly appreciate this wonderful lady who helped me and will NEVER SET FOOT INTO THIS HYPOTHETICAL bakery again. Added a photo of this oily menudo. read more

I wish I had taken pictures of the burrito I got. It was a bean, potato, & chorizo burrito. I do not recommend adding chorizo to anything. It was the cheapest chorizo they could possibly find. It colored my potatoes pink and it did not have a good flavor. I've had burritos 100x better. If the burrito didn't have the chorizo, I would probably be giving them a 3 star review. Either way, maybe stick to their doughnuts since other reviewers liked that a lot! read more

My wife and I like to surprise each other with a box here and there, and when their donuts are fresh... whoo! They make Crispy Creme look like amateur hour!! Worst customer service I've EVER experienced with a local business . I got yelled at and at the end told my order was my fault . Ladies forgot an order after I left . Had to go back to pick up . Came home with a missing item . Called and the lady said to go back for a refund . As soon as I get there she calls and tell me no . After 2 and a half hours of driving back and forth . Got no money back and all I had asked is for these ladies to make my burritos again . And got told NO BECAUSE IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT CHECKING MY BAG . Left with cold burritos . Wasted gas . I've only tried their donuts but just those alone will keep me coming back. Holy guacamole! So delicious. They are huge. I love Krispy Kreme donuts, love em but these are so much better! This is about the only place I eat Menudo from. I love it!! It is perfectly spiced and there is enough hominy. The bread there is also so soft and fresh. My husband and I love to go there on sunday morning and get our Menudo, pan blanco, and pastries. I must warn you, if you do on the weekends, there will be a line. But it goes by fast. read more
