I needed to update professional headshots and got the package with makeup (well-worth it and a must-have I think) with Janelle as the make-up artist and Samantha as the photographer- a superstar team. Samantha was excellent, experienced, fast, and knew exactly what would look good on camera and captured everything I could ask for. Janelle did amazing makeup and was exceptional, making me feel very comfortable and listening closely to what I was hoping for and helped a lot with optimal styling of hair, makeup, etc. This is my third time to return to City Headshots...with the first two times working with Martin about 10 years ago. They have been really excellent all three times, and I would definitely go back again. The booking process and early communications are automated and streamlined. The experience in person is very tailored and personalized and the studio space in Midtown is easy to get to and has a nice comfortable waiting room. Sophie responds very quickly to questions via phone and email from before booking to session prep to post shoot follow up. Anabella, our photographer, was incredible. I often feel a bit awkward on camera, but somehow she got both me and my love posing like pros. The makeup artist also did a truly beautiful job. The proofs and finished images are beyond gorgeous. WOW, what an incredible experience from start to finish…read more I booked a maternity session, but unfortunately, my daughter arrived two months early and I had to cancel it. I was heartbroken -- not just because I missed the chance to document my pregnancy, but because everything felt so overwhelming at the time. But what truly blew me away was the kindness and care Sophie showed. She continued to check in on me and my baby as time went on including throughout our NICU journey. A year later, I reached back out to book a baby session -- and it turned out to be even more special. Not only did I finally get the experience and memories that I'd dreamed of, but I got to share it with my daughter who is now healthy, thriving, and full of life. Room was set up and i took some full body photos and some half body. They sent me the link to all my photos right away, i will be downloading them all tomorrow as it was a crazy weekend. The service was great, they warned me when time was almost up and helped me with some props. Also printed 3 photos for me which i loved. I will def be back and recommending it to friends. Btw the mirrors here with the fotolab logo was a great touch! Loved that so much. Lastly i want to say they are great with responding on IG and send multiple email reminders which i loved because i forgot the code to enter the building but since they texted and emailed i had it on hand.

It was more tiring than I thought but he was great at getting me to relax and for this price, the least expensive I found, cash only, you cannot do better. Plus, my shots look like me! Which all my acting teachers say is a must. Not some wind blown over touched plastic. Lastly, unlike so many other studios I looked into, Klaus burns you a disk right then and there with ALL of the images after you've reviewed them so you are sure you like them. So you can get them printed as you wish. The other studios often would take 2 WEEKS! to burn a disk.
