So this review is primarily for the Poker room and a couple of the restaurants. First, I enjoy the poker room. The staff is pleasant and the dealers are good at their job. I love the fact that there is consistency in rule enforcement. The staff hosts two tournaments a day, which is great if you like tourneys like so many folks. Additionally, there is generally plenty of 1-3 and 2-5 no limit action. I know last Saturday they were spreading PLO and 20/40 limit hold'em. If you're a limit player that is your only choice. You won't find 2/4, 3/6, 4/8 limit here. The poker room has TVs liming the walls so you can watch the games, track your bets, and keep losing to me. :-) There is free cocktail service and most of the players, at least so far, seem nice. The Chinese restaurant is pretty good, too, And the burger joint near the poker room is a bit pricey but Delicious. See that capital D. Have fun. See you on the felt.

In town for a conference. My mother left a key for me at the check-in desk since she arrived 4 hours ahead of me. When I arrived after 7pm, I was tired from my road trip and just ready to get to the room. However, the rude staff at the desk did a very poor job of looking for the envelope with my name on it and even once I gave her the room number she explained since my name wasn't on the registration, she couldn't help me. After calling my mom (who was already in bed), she explained that it was a long white envelope with my name on it. Still staff half looked. I wasn't in the mood to push the issue. Nevertheless, I just went upstairs since my mom was in the room and let her to handle it the next day. These rooms in this hotel are a decent size but extremely dark! I couldn't believe how dark they were, even with the lamps on. The bathroom had an odd shape that looked like it provided adequate space but it was just odd. The water pressure in the shower was low and on the last day, it almost didn't work. We had to jiggle the handle in order to take a shower. It was also dark in the bathroom. But with all of that, my biggest issue was the fact you could hear the toilet flush and shower run in surrounding rooms. That was so annoying. While I have not stayed at any of the other hotels in the area, I know I will not stay here again.

This was my second trip to Tunica. Last time I stayed at Roadhouse next door, which is nicer than you would think (interior vs exterior). Big hot tub! Horseshoe is great for a poker player because you can just go downstairs and play. The only negative is that you might not get much fresh air. The entire casino is nice and well-run. The poker room is comfortable and runs without a hitch. The staff here is exceptional. The play here can be loose or tight. You will pick up who is who in a heartbeat. The WSOP is run in the event center, which is cool because you're playing poker on a stage (sometimes). You get free alcohol here as long as you're gambling. If you go straight to the bar, you have to pay for drinks. As far as food goes, salads at 8oz are excellent, go with Chicken Lo Mein or Pepper Steak at Noodle Bar, and stick with Chicken and Rice at buffet. The buffet here isn't very good. You're better off at Gold Strike for a buffet. If you wager $100+ over the course of an hour at blackjack at Gold Strike, you get a free buffet. If you stay at Horseshoe during WSOP during the week, you can get a rate of $56/night.

Caesar's made it right. They reached out to hear what we had to say and apologized. The hotel manager also spoke with us and made things right. They act as if they were concerned and assured us they didn't run their hotel this way. The bed was totally unacceptable.

    Great view.

We checked in at the Horseshoe Tunica on a Wednesday in early May 2023 for one night. The room was clean and that's the only good thing I can say about our time at the Horseshoe. We were put in a room on the 2nd floor that looked out at the outside utilities and casino wall. Not worth making a fuss over but it made no sense since the hotel has over 500 rooms and was clearly nowhere near capacity. What we didn't notice was the hanging scaffold right outside the window which was used by several workman beginning at 7:00 AM the following morning. Some guys outside the window working on the exterior of the building is not my preferred method of being awakened in the morning. In the casino, the mid-range restaurant is under renovation so that wasn't an option. After driving in from western Missouri a $60 Ala-carte steak at Jack Binion's wasn't appealing, and we weren't in the mood for "Asian Fusion", so that left the "8 Oz. Burger Bar". I've had the same food quality in hospital cafeterias, which this "restaurant" somewhat resembles, and the service was borderline surly. We tried to get a drink around 9:00 PM at the main bar on the casino floor and there was no one working the bar. The bar attached to Jack Binion's was just as pricey as the steaks. A dirty martini with the house vodka, and a diet coke, cost $19. If we ever go back to Tunica, it won't be to the Horseshoe.

I am a consistent casino player and traveler. The customer service was great from booking, check in, and overall stay. Rooms were definitely clean and sanitized Bathroom and room was very spacious The picture doesn't do any justice to the space There was a tv also inside of the restroom area Table weren't super packed Just loved the experience overall

Barbie's shoe is often described as a Horse-shoe. That's not very nice really, I'm way easier than she is. And her shoes are world famous and sextacular. I'm not a big fan of casinos, but this one is pretty cool and has a lot of international and ethnic events. It's famous all over the region. People come from Memphis and much further away like Jackson - and even the Gulf Shores - to come in and enjoy some of the stuff that goes on here. Still it's a casino so I can't possibly give it more than a 3.

My first hand pay! Thanks Horseshoe!

May Girls trip to Tunica usually involves a stay at the Goldstrike (next door to the Horseshoe), however, we could only get back to back comp rooms at the Horseshoe so we booked two nights. I am so glad we did! We checked in on a Monday afternoon and there were no lines. Easy and smooth. Our room was spacious and clean with a small couch, desk, chair, comfy beds and a safe in the closet. Food options at the Horseshoe are pretty varied. Had a great experience at the Asian restaurant however the cafe (JD Cafe I believe) was really bad. We ate there for dinner where they tried to pass off this thick stew"esk" concoction as gumbo... there was a few egg noodles in it! Just gross! The casino had a nice variety of games. I was disappointed in the shuffle machines at the lower denomination black jack tables, but they do have double deck tables if your bankroll can handle $25 minimum bets. Had a small window Tuesday morning where they lowered the limit to $15 and I really enjoyed playing there. The dealer - Phyllis maybe - was fantastic! Friendly staff throughout the casino. The slots were fun as always and actually had my very first hand pay! The last day of our stay, the mask mandate was dropped for vaccinated guests - we were so happy to drop the mask! Overall a very good experience! We are heading back in June. We are staying at the Goldstrike and then 1 night at the Horseshoe to compare. Neither room is comp'd, so we will spend our entertainment dollar wherever the most fun is!

Horrible hotel! Rude staff. Bloody sheets.. empty pool in August? Cut my leg on bed frame..no coffee pot, towels, trash bags, microwave. NADDA! Even the safe didn't work to hide your valuables! Disgusting place.

Don't ever stay at this hotel, it's terrible. The staff do not care about their guests. The rooms are disgusting and old/outdated. Hallways smell musty and is dirty. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed at that did not clean your room and make your bed everyday. I called the front desk and they said they don't make up or clean rooms until you check out. No fresh towels either. Housekeeping left a bag of garbage and dirty towels piled up in the hallway next to my doorway for two days. The food at their restaurants are terrible as well. The staff do not know what they are doing and have no sense of service. You literally have to request ever single thing you want or else they won't do it for you. Simple things like giving you your place settings or plates for sharing entrees. I will never come here again. They couldn't offer me enough free comps to come here. I've been to Harrah's/Caesars properties all over the states and this is by far the worst. You're also trapped in the middle of nowhere. There's no transportation to leave the property and no rental car locations for at least 3 minutes away. You're a prisoner in a shitty hotel and shitty casino.

Bed was soft. Pillows were not very comfortable. Overall room was nice. Highly recommended bringing/using a sound machine or app. People are up & down the hall at hours of the night/day.

No wonder Gold Strike is more popular than harrahs horseshoe hotel and casino. The rooms are falling apart and uncomfortable. The casino is nice and the food is amazing. Guy Fieri's was great for breakfast and even reasonably priced. 8oz Burger place was excellent we ate there several times. Jack Binions Steakhouse was very good. If they would fix and update the rooms this would be a nice place. Couldn't put my clothes away because the doors were falling off the hinges. The bathroom door had no striker just a whole so you couldn't close let alone lock the bathroom door. Ordered a smoking room so I knew it would smell but omg not that bad. Damn ever heard of using some febreeze on the curtains and chairs. We bought a candle to help. The curtains also didn't close so no chance of sleeping in. That's the whole purpose of blackout curtains! Put some TLC in the rooms and you'd have excellent ratings.

The first thing that hit me wasn't the decor--it was the smell. Then you look around... and it only gets worse. The floors were dirty and worn down, like they haven't seen real maintenance in a long time. The walls had this dull, lifeless color that made the whole place feel cold and neglected instead of welcoming. Now let's talk about something serious--safety. My door lock wasn't even right. That's not a minor inconvenience--that's a deal breaker. If I can't feel secure in my own room, nothing else matters. And the food? Honestly, it felt like an afterthought.
