Maybe it was just because the place was not packed (at. all) or that the singer (while good) was playing country. Just didn't get the Beale vibe but a cute spot. (Please know that we were there on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't the most opportune time to be on Beale.)

Good spot. Craft beers on draft, good margaritas. Good live music. The band was led by a female singer & bass player. I particularly enjoyed the Zombie cover.

Great venue for live music. I ordered the Nashville hot sandwich and it was very good. Blue ocean drink could be dangerous very good.

We have a wonderful time until the manager walked up and placed a reservation sign underneath us with out telling us. So I posted it on my Instagram story and she came over to our table to kick us out. Unfortunately, everyone else there was amazing but she was not.

Live Music & Cheap Beer! Tin Roof was one of the many bars on Beale Street that had live music but their beer deal got us! No cover when I came on a Thursday night. The band was awesome. They played a ton of covers. Tip for requests. Basically a live jukebox. Service was nice but the beer does take a while to come out. Coors Light, 32 oz - $5 - This was a deal posted at the entrance. Normally $6.25 for the beer.

Can you say a blast!!! The 90s dj for the crawl was the best. We quickly ordered the margaritas and hit the dance floor. I loved the seperate party room that opens to outdoor area.

Came in on a dreary Sunday evening around 5. Wasn't too many people in here, but they were definitely following the COVID rules. We were just in time for the live band. They were great by the way. I ordered the street tacos I heard so much about on one of those cooking shows on tv and they were good. Reminded me of just a regular cheese quesadilla with corn added. Overall really nice experience.

Burnt End Lettuce Cups with brisket. Yum.

Ask the Community - Tin Roof

How old do you have to be to get in?

Depends on which staff is checking at the door. Sometimes people are denied entry even when they have a valid ID, and other times it is not like that.

    Is there a cover?

    Not currently...just come on in!

It was the only restaurant on Beale Street that would let anyone under 21 in at the time of night we were there.

The service was great and the drinks were even better. We tried the Mai Tai, porn star martini , frosted Jake to name a few. The star of the show for me was the Frosted Jake. It was very refreshing surprisedly. And a huge shoutout to our bartender - I believe her name was Max!!!! Keep her on board. She is everything and so nice. Don't miss this spot at all.

The place is small but inviting. The music playing through the speakers was like they had my spotify synced. All of my favs were playing. (Shoutout to whoever was respnaible for Melanie Fiona album The Bridge being in rotation. That's one of my favs). We were all pretty hungry so we ordered The Cameo Cheesburger and fries. It's a really nice sized burger and definitely will help soak up the "liquor" lol. From 4-7pm you get half off selected classic cocktails. I started with a French 75 and it definitely did its job. There is a cocktail on the menu called Rage Quit ($10) which simply states secret and danger. Well we decided to all try that and let's just say the danger snuck up on us lol I also had a Cosmo which was delicious as well. By this time we are felling really good but need to use the bathroom. We then discover there is a photobooth in the back area. It was pretty comical trying to get all 3 of us in the frame. We chatted with the staff afterwards to let them know that the we had a great experience. If you're looking for a nice happy hour spot, I highly suggest Cameo.

I LOVE breweries so visiting this place on Beale was a no brainer…read more Like most breweries, they have a selection to choose from. The options are displayed on a large screen above the bar. I believe the place was empty when we took a seat at the bar but another party of 2 followed shortly behind and sat a little bit further down the bar. I tried something that sounded better than it tasted but ultimately this is a matter of personal preference and I have a high maintenance palate. The people next to us got wings, which looked good until they were dangerously close to a leak that had sprung from one of the exposed pipes above. They had to move to a table behind us and then some of the staff got a bucket to place on the bar to catch the dripping water but that made a very loud noise so then they put a towel inside of the bucket. I will admit that I have never experienced such a thing before. It looked like the pipe that was dripping had tape wrapped over that area so they had tried a "bandaid" fix in the past but it didn't work. Obviously, this does negatively impact the "ambiance" portion of the overall experience and getting the impression that this is an issue that could have been fully addressed previously but the decision was made not to. It wouldn't stop me from going back but it certainly isn't ideal.

Here's a clean, strong review that keeps your energy: Hands down one of the best spots in town. The beer selection is top-tier--something for everyone, whether you're into classics or trying something new. The food is next level, especially the fries... easily top 3 I've ever had. Crispy, flavorful, and addictive. The atmosphere seals the deal: great music, high energy, and the fact that they're open until 3am is a game changer. Best part? The service is always on point. Staff is friendly, fast, and actually cares about the experience.

One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences I've Had After…read moreattending a Pride event and visiting from out of town, my friend and I stopped by Bar Dogs late at night/early in the morning on June 7th, hoping to grab some food before heading back to our hotel. Unfortunately, we were met with one of the rudest bartenders I've ever encountered. As soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender--a Caucasian woman with a short haircut whose name I unfortunately didn't get--greeted us with an attitude that immediately made us feel unwelcome. Instead of providing friendly service, she was dismissive, impatient, and rushed us through placing our to-go order. She informed us that we could not eat at the bar, which was completely fine. We agreed without any issue and ordered our food to go. However, when my food arrived, I simply opened the container to make sure my order was correct before leaving. She immediately rushed back over and aggressively said, "Didn't I tell you that you could not eat at the bar?" I hadn't taken a single bite--I was only checking my order. Rather than politely clarifying the policy, she continued to scold us and make us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We still hadn't even received my friend's food, yet she seemed more interested in lecturing us than providing basic customer service. Once my friend's food finally arrived, we left as quickly as possible. As visitors in town celebrating Pride, we expected a welcoming atmosphere and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced hostility, impatience, and a complete lack of professionalism. There's a huge difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers with disrespect, and this bartender clearly doesn't understand that distinction. The food may have been fine, but the service was so unpleasant that I would never return or recommend Bar Dogs to anyone looking for a friendly place to eat or have a drink. Customer service training is desperately needed.
