A friend told me about the laundry list of work they have done for him. He buys houses has Payless roofing fix them up then sells them and he has been working with them for years. From my experience with him he hires guys that just need a second chance and have been shunned and turned down every job they apply to. He works with guys that come here on work visas gives them a home and picks every one up for work in the morning. I've seen him give a homeless guy a job he just met on the street that offered to help him with some debris from my roof he asked me if it was ok. He was sober and eager to help and didn't seem to pose any safety risks. Im in social work so of course it was ok. He worked hard and the roof looks amazing. No more leaks! He even moved him into the house he rents for his other workers. Derek has a huge heart , quoted me much lower than other companies and my roof looks awesome.

Three days later I had to kick them off my property after realizing they literally had no clue what they were doing. I paid $1000 plus bought all materials including a sanding block, should have been a huge red flag that a professional contractor didn't even have something to sand with, his other company is a drywall company. Everything they touched they either broke or left in worst condition than found. On top of what I gave them and the need to pay a "real contractor" to come in and redo/fix their shoddy "work" I also had to pay for things they broke while they were attempting to do the work they said they could do. NO refund or compensation was offered even after admitting to not doing anything properly. The pictures do not even show all the damage they left behind. A complete and total mess that I had to continue to ask the workers to clean up after themselves. All in I was quoted $1500 and will end up paying almost $4000!!! Very expensive life lesson

THIS COMPANY SUCKS AND THE OWNER JAMES KENTON is the culprit who closed up business in 2019 and so now we have no recourse. Still got to pay the the monthly payment or our credit gets ruined. Once I signed the papers to have my roof done, it went downhill from there. No notification when materials were being delivered. No communication on a start date. Email ignored. No communication that something other than what we discussed was going to be done. Trash, nails, debis and cigarette butts left all over my yard and porch. To top it all off...an hour after they completed and left we had a heavy rainstorm...and my roof leaked!! I called and was told someone would be there first thing in the morning to take a look and correct the issue (and to remove the large wooden crate that they were apparently going to leave for me to dispose of. Told me that homeowners like to have it left there to use the wood. No thanks, just take care of your stuff). Morning came and went, no one showed. I called left a message and got a call back saying they would be there between 2-3pm instead. As I write this it is 3:32pm, and no show and no call. The bank had called to have me approve the work, which I said no to..my roof is leaking! I then got a call from them saying they would like to get paid, they put a lot of work into my roof, they were going to correct the issue no matter what....and would I call the bank and approve the loan? If you look on their Facebook page, there is nowhere to leave a review. Look on yelp, very few reviews. What few there are, aren't good. I'm very unimpressed with this company and the lack of communication and professionalism. The roof....well, that is yet to be seen whether it holds up like they say it will.

They are barely attached with only 1 self drilling screw. Every single gutter on my house is failing...dripping in back of the gutter, or the whole spout coming off. They came and caulked, but it did not last. Calling or texting to no avail. Do not use this company.

I have ever heard or witnessed such unprofessional, unsafe, and disruptive work. They covered my kitchen window without notifying me. They have a man on a roof above my bathroom window so I cannot use my bathroom with privacy, again, without making me aware this would happen. There is a man on the next door roof that is not using any kind of harness or safety equipment. Furthermore, I have heard the leader/boss scream at his employees now for an hour. He is constantly screaming at them for urgency but then screaming at them with corrections/frustration as soon as they do anything. They are making a truly inconsiderate and extreme amount of noise with their every action, even considering the fact that they're roofing. Slamming, dropping, dragging, screaming.

Unfortunately, Dan had to cancel and reschedule our initial appointment, understandable as things happen. We agreed to reschedule for the following day. However, Dan was a no-show for the rescheduled appointment. Not only is that unprofessional, but also unacceptable from a business owner! No response from him since to offer an explanation or apology for wasting my time!
