    Tiramisu

My husband and I stumbled upon this place for a late night bite. We had the baked Mussels! It was delicious, everything I wanted and satisfied my cravings. Paired with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Light and crisp! Service was great, as they took my husband and I without reservation. The tiramisu was light and airy, with bites of mini chocolate chips throughout Yummy. Definitely happy!

Really good food! I had some kind of truffle ravioli and my mom had the carbonara. The carbonara was INCREDIBLE! Service was a little slow. It took about 30 minutes of sitting without being seen before someone finally came over to us. To be fair, both of the servers thought the other one had helped us. Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

Kareem is incredibly kind and personable. We were surprised to know that this restaurant moved and are happy to hear that it will be moving to a central location soon!

Food was great! Good sized portions, came out fast and was warm. However, the service felt a bit rushed. Gave little time to decide before asking for our order and also felt rushed with the check. Ambiance was pretty good, but we set oddly close to another couple which just made it weird because we could hear everything each other said. Overall good, but some slight downfalls.

The food was amazing. I ordered the truffle ricotta ravioli and it was amazing. My mom ordered the seafood pasta and she said it was the best seafood pasta she ever had. My dad had the carbonara pasta and he really liked it. We then ordered two desserts; the tiramisu and the passionfruit mousse. We've been in Italy for eight days and this was my family's favorite restaurant. My mom kept saying this is her favorite restaurant in Venice lol. The service was great! Even though it was busy, our waitress was attentive. I'd recommend to get a reservation so you can get a seat right away. We were able to but many families who came in afterwards had to wait a little bit.

Very good service. Extremely attentive and helpful. The regular ravioli was excellent. The seafood ravioli was a bit different. Not bad, but not our personal favorite. The bread was amazing. The artichoke heart was very good, although the goat cheese did not appeal to some in our party. Seafood spaghetti was liked by all who ordered it. Cool spot on the water and nice ambience. Just not one of the "best" we've had in Italy, hence the 4

Great service! Waiter very friendly and gave good food suggestions Taste of food is awesome Love the seafood pasta

Exactly what I was expecting. Great all around. The artichoke stuffed with goat cheese was wonderful, the duck ragu delicious and the beef cheek so succulent. Glad we made the effort to try this spot.

This is the definition of a tourist trap. The food was very overpriced, portions extremely tiny, and unfortunately, didn't taste good at all. I tried the Duck Ragu, and as a duck lover, I was disappointed with the taste of the pasta and the duck in it. I thought Italy would have good pasta, but this place didn't. As far as price, one ravioli dish cost 25 euros, and only had 3 small ravioli pieces. Insanely underwhelming food for the price. I would recommend going farther away from the tourist area in Venice if you want to find better and more reasonably priced food.

A great intimate dining experience. My first food experience in Venice and was everything I hoped for and more. The staff were all lovely and spoke English so is a great option for tourists. The beef cheek was very tender and in a beautiful marinated sauce ontop of well seasoned mashed potatoes with a velvety consistency The beef ragu pasta was delicious as well and had an excellent mix of meat. The sauce was exceptional. Could easily much more at this location. A bit on the more pricy end of dining

This place is a hidden gem in Venice. The restaurant is located deep in a little alley and much less crowded than the outside by the train station. The restaurant is small and elegant. Reservation is recommended since they have very limited seats. Our server was really nice and he spoke great English. The food is above my expectation. Their tiramisu is the best I have tried so far. We had seabass for fish of the day and it was perfectly cookedr

We all got pasta dishes and they were so delicious! We could tell it was high quality ingredients and all our dishes had great flavor. The bread was also very good and a nice change from the salt-less bread we've been eating in Florence. The staff was very kind and helpful, even opening the bathroom door for me. They were very friendly and had full conversations with us. The decor was very nice and had a lovely vibe. I would definitely eat here again!

    Duck Ragu

This was def one of my fav meals in Italy!! The duck ragu was absolutely delectable. The beef cheeks were also bursting with flavor and perfectly tender. And the spinach was the perfect veggie pairing. If you're ever in Venice, this is a must try!! Be sure to make reservations ahead of time - it's a small restaurant and they book up fast - we got lucky and walked in early on a rainy day so we were able to get a table, but I think everyone else got turned away after we sat. Additionally, service was great and our server also helped with a wine pairing recommendation that was absolutely perfect.

Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.
