I just arrived my hotel that's next to Santa Lucia Station after almost 20 hours flight and transfer, feeling hungry, decided to try a restaurant which got the best reviews on Yelp within 10 minutes walking distance. However, when I passed by Pizzeria Vittoria, something about it attracted me and made me stop to take a look. I couldn't put my figure on what was it, but I felt its a warm and cozy place. So I stepped in and it turned out they didn't disappoint me at all. I loved the good, enjoyed the service, and most importantly, with the elder and quiet customers crowd, I felt so relaxed that the stress from travel disappeared. Plus, the waitor was soo cute. ;)

Nice location, good mood, reasonable prices. The food was not so special but I can tell that they use good olive oil and a lot of halves. Over all, I like this restaurant.

Came to this restaurant via Yelp app So glad I did what a great place friendly great food and the service was good. My only quarm was the omelette was a little small saw what others were eating and there meals look great. Would I return YES

Gnocchi

This place is by the water and has a nice location. The staff is friendly and the service is good. The food, however, is not my favourite. The calamari was bland and needed some salt. The gnocchi was very tasty but the portions were very small. The cod with polenta was decent, it wasn't bad. The fried fish was bland and was fried without the bones being removed. Overall, I think there are better restaurants and I'd recommend searching around.the food is decent and quite small, the service and location is great but it is also overpriced.

Worst meal I have had in Italy. Tasteless seafood, even the simplest fried calamari tastes like boiled chicken. Bad serve as well.

We had the utmost pleasure of dining in this establishment with friendly Marco and family. We…read morewalked about 15 minutes from our hotel through the Venetian labyrinth and arrived right at opening. A combination of a thunderstorm and an early dinner meant the place was empty, but Marco and other staff welcomed us warmly all the same. We had the antipasti Parmigiana Di Melanzane (fried eggplant with cheese) and enjoyed the mains Pasta Al Forno (baked pasta with beef and peas), Pasta Con Le Polpette E Salsa Di Pomodoro (spaghetti with meatballs - not pictured), and Turbante Di Pesce Spada "A Beccafico" (baked swordfish). These were also with the Casa Rosso wine and Birra Siciliana beer both blonde and red. All food was superb. The fried eggplant was flavorful and fresh, and the bread was crispy and savory. The baked pasta was rich, the spaghetti and meatballs were nostalgic, and the swordfish was delectable. Safe to say we all cleared our plates easily. We wish nothing but the very best for Marco and his restaurant. This food was some of the best we had on our two week stay throughout Italy. The atmosphere, staff, and of course the amazing food made for a great experience that we would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced homestyle Sicilian meal.

Get lost in Venice and found this restaurant. It is right at the corner of a quiet courtyard…read moreneighborhood. The waiter is very friendly and invite us to have lunch, and menu price look reasonable so let's go for it. We ordered clam and mussels. So amazing and yummy, especially the soup! I really want to finish all of it. The scallop spaghetti is also very yummy. I love this place. Good vibe, friendly service, and most important is the food quality. 5 stars for sure. For dinner in peak season, try to make a reservation as the restaurant is very small. We arrived before our reservation time and were seated immediately inside and greeted warmly by the restaurant owner. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (most under 20 Euros for a 75 ML bottle). For appetizers we ordered the cheese with honey for 13 Euros, absolutely amazing! We also combined this with the local olive oil and fresh bread brought to the table to start as well. For our second course we chose two pastas, the Penne Alla Amatriciana (I think it was around 12 Euros), and the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (I think it was around 12 Euros as well). Both had extremely fresh homemade ingredients and were out of this world and extreme attention to care in the preparation. For our entree we split the breaded pork chop (I think it was around 20 Euros), including a side of potatoes (similar to the steak fries that you would see in the U.S.) The service was absolutely amazing and we loved dining alongside the owner and his family and meeting the cat that also lives at the restaurant and comes by to greet you during the meal as well. It truly was like you were dining at the home of the owner and is a must try if you are in Venice!
